Before: Press conference after press conference - Thandie viciously taunts poor Virginie to the point of tears, laughing as the French girl is held back by security en-route to Newton's hair. "There is nothing in this business as sweet as battering an opponent," Thandie tells collected press, "and then battering her again, just to hammer the point home. I'm going to thrash Virginie Ledoyen - I'm going to strip away every last shred of dignity she ever had...AGAIN!" Ledoyen overwrought, trembling as she takes the podium. "T'andie is insufferable!" Virginie whines as Newton chuckles stage left. "I hate her, and I will smash her in this fight. She cheats and she is very rough in our fights - but I do not care. I will not stop punching until T'andie lies senseless at my feet!" Newton in black push up, leopard print trunks, grecian-style lace up boxing sandals (gold); gold-wire tieing her hair in a greek braid, gold armband about left bicep. Virginie in mauve string bikini, long curly brown hair, grecian style lace-up boxing sandals (white); small white gloves. Ledoyen visibly agitated at T'andie's smirking demeanor during ring instructions - Virginie fairly jumping out of her trunks to get at hated Newton.

During R1: Virginie pumping jabs face, body, face - she's got Newton backpedalling early. Ropes: Ledoyen pinning her ears back, teeth bared - batting fury of lefts and rights pelts Newton about her head and shoulders, causing her to turtle-up. Newton sliding to her right along ropes: Virginie stepping-with, lashing at her - pent up frustration of the last few weeks bursting on Thandie like a little French tornado. Bell to bell pasting handed out - Newton covering up and blocking a lot of the ill-disciplined shots, but she can't get her back off the ropes as furious Ledoyen whips her girl around the perimeter. Bell: Ledoyen still clawing punches as Thandie cries out behind her mitts - Newton's cheeks tear stained as ref pushes a seething Ledoyen away after a torrid first.

R2: Virginie on the pounce, driving a stricken T'andie to ropes, face in gloves. Newton shaking under the flapping beat of Ledoyen's angry fists - but at the minute mark, Thandie's starting to fight back. Newton upright, elbows in, dipping and rolling shots, then poking short, up-thrusting right hands into Ledoyen's chin or mouth - just trying to chop away at French woman's momentum. Ledoyen lathering - mitts bouncing off shoulders and guard at times, but sheer ferocity is beating past Thandie's defences, turning and jerking her head at times. Lodoyen lashing at Thandie's waist as well, carving in under the elbows - Newton cringing forward, baring her teeth in hurt as Ledoyen pours it on. Final minute, Thandie desperate to get her back off the ropes, punches-with Ledoyen and eats a crashing right hand in exchange. NEWTON'S ROCKED! Thandie slumping wide-eyed into ropes, suddenly loosened: LEDOYEN'S ALL-IN! Thandie staring into punishment as her hands droop down - Virginie's body rigid with effort as she claps hooks, drops straight right hands onto the hated face in front of her. Savage, brisk beating - Newton's legs and body still as her face is scoured raw and THE REF STEPS IN! Newton cradled to safety, out on her feet - Virginie pushing at the man's back to get in extra work as security floods the ring. TKO2 in savage fashion, Ledoyen.

After: Emotional Virginie stomping about, weeping angry tears of vindication - she turns back Thandie with a veritable blizzard of French leather. Poor Newton! Bleak, frazzled - she bawls in protest when a huffy Ledoyen barges into Thandie's corner, pulling at the still-woozy brunette's arm to yank her to her feet. Scalding walk of shame - Ledoyen to Newton - Thandie bursting into wracking sobs half way through, unable to cope with the sandal being on the other foot. Virginie tugging at T'andie, pulling her roughly about the ring - fierce looks and head nods from triumphant Ledoyen as she exults in Newton's misery.
