BEFORE:

"This is very exciting for me," says AnnaSophia with a smile. "It's been a long time coming, getting my first FCBA fight, and, now, not only do I get it, I get it against someone of my own experience level. I can beat her, and I'm going to prove it tonight!"

"It's kind of cute how she's bouncing around all smiles like a kid on Christmas," says Jane with a hint of a smile of her own. "But, I think AnnaSophia's going to be very disappointed when she finds out what's under the tree."

ROUND ONE:

O'Dell: "Back at ringside, and that's 'Keep Your Mind Wide Open' you hear, and coming down to the ring is the singer of that song, AnnaSophia Robb!"

McCarthy: "And, this is a new low even for The Weirdo. Not only has he brought in a girl without an FCBA win, he's brought in a fighter with ONE ARM..."

Tess: "Um, Mac..."

McCarthy: "I mean, how does the FCBA sanction something like this? Who is he paying off to get a fight like this made?"

Tess: "Mac..."

McCarthy: "This is a tragedy of justice! What does the FCBA commission DO? Is it so busy it doesn't have time to make sure a fighter has all her LIMBS?"

Tess: "Mac..."

McCarthy: "What's next, a fighter with one leg who hops around the ring? Where does it end? Where does..."

O'Dell: "MAC! There's AnnaSophia right there, and, as you can CLEARLY see, she has TWO ARMS..."

McCarthy: "Wait...what?"

Cassie: "For those at home who haven't made the connection, and, since we haven't had enough 'Shut up, Walmarts' for you to be drunk yet, I'd imagine there aren't very many of you, Mac is just coming to understand that AnnaSophia only PLAYED surfer Bethany Hamilton, who has one arm, in a movie..."

O'Dell(sighing): "I can't STAND it. I just can't STAND it. AnnaSophia into the ring and helped off with the robe to reveal a pale blue two-piece, and that's 'Pleasant Nightmare' blasting through the arena, and that can only mean that 'The Marin County Marauder', Jane Levy, is on her way to the ring..."

Cassie: "As we've said before, Uncle Wiz is very high on Jane, a former college athlete with plenty of quickness and power."

O'Dell: "Levy wasting no time getting down the aisle and into the ring. She's helped off with the robe by Jewel and Neve to reveal that peach bikini we've seen before, and we're about ready to go. Time for some picks. Tess favors Levy. Mac?"

McCarthy: "Well, even though she apparently has two arms..."

Tess: "APPARENTLY?"

McCarthy: "I don't trust Weirdo as far as I could throw Christina Hendricks! But, as I was saying, even though she apparently has two arms, Robb still has ZERO FCBA wins. Levy."

O'Dell: "Cassie?"

Cassie: "I agree with Tess!"

O'Dell: "Here we go. Robb immediately getting to work with the feet. She's athletic, quick, wants to stick and move. Levy slowly stalking. She appears to want to close and bang with the smaller woman."

Cassie: "Levy has a lot of power for a fly, and Robb is a small flyweight. Barely five feet tall, but she's built pretty sturdily."

O'Dell: "Levy patient as always. We've seen all her fights, and I've never seen her hurried. She's slowly working the feet, looking to close and force battle. Robb bouncing around, snapping out jabs. Plenty of movement, but not a lot of punches landing."

Tess: "Bit of a feeling out round, it looks like. Not a surprise, as neither of these girls have a lot of experience."

O'Dell: "Both working up a nice sweat, doing some recon, getting the lay of the land as it were. AnnaSophia all movement all the time as we come down the stretch. She's leading Jane on a merry chase. Levy not exactly expending a ton of energy in pursuit. And, there's the bell. First round to the blonde."

McCarthy: "Not a bad start for a tyro. Up 10-9"

ROUND TWO:

O'Dell: "Second begins with a big more aggression from Jane. She's getting the timing down now, working harder to cut the ring, and, when she does so, to make with the heavy leather. Robb not spooked, hanging in, banging back, then slipping away to open canvas."

McCarthy: "I'm impressed by how AnnaSophia's handling that pressure. A lot of times, a girl without much experience will cut and run, but she's not doing that."

O'Dell: "She most definitely is not. She's firing back hard in the exchanges, but it's Levy's weight of shot that's telling the tale in there. The redhead a harder hitter, and she's able to back AnnaSophia up, make her cover up, and take the points."

Cassie: "Robb doing a good job of keeping those exchanges as short as possible, though. She's showing some nice escape skills for a girl in her first FCBA fight..."

O'Dell: "And Levy showing the good, athletic feet of a former college soccer player as she matches footwork, cuts, steps in, bangs. She's in a good rhythm now, working both upstairs and down, taking the fight to the blonde in the final seconds. Robb gamely hanging in right to the bell, and there it is. Levy's round."

Tess: "And we're even at 19."

ROUND THREE:

O'Dell: "Back to action and back to Levy cutting and crowding Robb. Jane has her opponent's rhythms down now, and she's anticipating her movements, getting out in front of them, lining her up, and forcing extended exchanges. And, these are not the terms Robb wants..."

McCarthy: "Kid needs to get a little more creative with the footwork and a little more active with the jab if she wants to create space."

O'Dell: "Might be right, Mac, because, what she's doing now simply isn't working. Levy all over Robb, pushing the pace now, backing the blonde up with solid leather. AnnaSophia banging back hard, but not able to hold canvas right now."

Cassie: "And, that's becoming a problem. Jane getting too much solid stuff on target, Jenny. If this doesn't stop, sooner or later something bad is going to happen..."

O'Dell: "And, Jane looking to make that happen sooner. She's upping the aggression as this round goes on, touching up AnnaSophia in a big way, has her backed almost to the ropes now, forcing a heavy exchange that makes Robb cover up. The blonde now on the ropes as the final seconds tick off. Levy a good right hand and there's the bell. Jane easily in the third."

Tess: "29-28, Levy, after three."

ROUND FOUR:

O'Dell: "Levy continuing with the pressure and Robb tying her up now. AnnaSophia clinching, forcing a break. Cute stuff from the blonde, as Levy closes, she scores with jabs, and, when Jane begins to work, she ties her up and waits for the referee to break..."

McCarthy: "It's a way to get space, and to slow down what the other girl is trying to do."

O'Dell: "It is that, and it's working to a point. Levy continuing to work as Robb clinches, banging body, scoring some points of her own, but unable to keep things going in there, as Robb ties up around the head and pins the arms."

Tess: "Mac, what do you do when a girl is doing this against you?"

McCarthy: "Well, as quick and athletic as I am, I usually just adjust and work outside if a girl wants to wrestle inside. But, if I'm determined to stay in there, you just have to out-wrestle her, force her off, free your arms, keep working."

O'Dell: "Levy doing some of that, but not much. She's mainly getting bogged down after just a punch or two and simply waiting for the referee to break so they can start fresh. We're coming to the final seconds of a roiund that's been, as Mac intimated, more wrestling match than prize fight. Robb jabbing at Jane. Levy walking through, hooks the body. AnnaSophia quickly ties her up, and there's the bell. Close round to Robb..."

Cassie: "And we're even again at 38."

ROUND FIVE:

O'Dell: "Into the fifth now, and Levy still looking to pressure. Robb jabbing, but Jane walking through the jab. AnnaSophia using a back slide step to give herself more space, then immediately tying up again as Levy gets in close. Jane getting a little frustrated, it looks like, Mac..."

McCarthy: "Definitely. But, this is her own fault. She's bigger and stronger than Robb. She has to fight through these ties, punch out of them. She can't just stop and wait for the referee."

O'Dell: "She's hearing that from the corner right now, but Robb doing an excellent job of locking Jane up as soon as she gets to her spot and begins punching as she has for the last four plus minutes now. AnnaSophia again doing her damage as Jane walks in, scoring points, mostly with the left jab..."

Cassie: "And, Levy's effective in close for as long as she can punch, but, it's one or two punches, then they tangle up and sort of just push and shove until the referee gets in there."

O'Dell: "It's not pretty, but it's plenty effective for AnnaSophia at the moment. And, give the blonde credit, she's making this work by tying up a girl, that, as Mac points out, is bigger and stronger than she is. Levy flummoxed, being taken completely out of her game as we come down the stretch in the fifth. Another break by the referee. Levy right forward, takes a good left from Robb, lands a hook to the body, but AnnaSophia ties her up again and they wrestle around to the bell. Robb's round, ladies..."

Tess: "And she leads 48-47 at the half."

ROUND SIX:

O'Dell: "Sixth underway and Levy again looking to close. Robb working the jab to slow her on the way in, then tying up. Jane keeps the punches going, working body, punching free, shouldering Robb backward. AnnaSophia using a backward slide step to get range, but Jane right back in her grill, punching free of any efforts to tie up again..."

McCarthy: "This is what the kid should have been doing to start with. If she had anyone in the corner who knew what they were doing, they'd have told her that!"

O'Dell: "Levy getting off lusty right now. She's dipping the shoulder, unbalancing Robb, fighting free of the clinches and getting some serious work done in there and DOWN GOES ANNASOPHIA! Short uppercut and Robb dropped to her back!"

Tess: "That was a NASTY punch, Jenny..."

O'Dell: "With a nasty result for the blonde. Count at three. Four. Five. Six. Robb grabbing the ropes, pulling herself to her feet. She's a bit unsteady, but she's up at eight. Referee going to give her the mandatory and he's going to let it continue. And here comes Levy! Jane letting the hands go now, pummeling Robb back into the ropes. The blonde in the earmuff, covering up, trying to hang on, wobbled by a right that splits the gloves. Levy hooks some body, trying to bring the guard down and THERE'S THAT UPPIE AGAIN! Robb slumping forward onto Levy and IT'S OVER! Referee has seen enough! He's in between the fighters, bundling the blonde to safety, and your winner by TKO6 is 'The Marin County Marauder', Jane Levy!"

Cassie: "Check the replay on that uppercut, Jenny, and it's an even better punch than the first one, blasts into the chin and Robb falls forward. If Jane hadn't been there, she'd have gone straight down. Referee did the right thing in stopping it."

AFTER:

O'Dell: "Let's go up to the ring and Tess Valmore!"

Tess: "I have our winner, Jane Levy, and, Jane, looked like you had it going early, but she was able to slow you down..."

Jane(nodding): "She kind of gummed me up with all that clinching. I didn't expect that. She's stronger than you'd think. And really determined."

Tess: "In that last round, though, you got rolling..."

Jane(nodding again): "I was about ready to stop coming forward and start boxing her, but the corner said to stop waiting on the ref and start muscling her in there. That's what I did. And I was able to get the space, get some leather home, and seal the deal."
