Before: "She can fight me as much as she likes," chirps irrepressible Hannah, "I'll only stop her again. Virginie is like French putty in my hands and I can't wait to twist her up again!" Ledoyen still steaming after the outcome of the first fight. "Cheating," Virginie insists. "That is the Hannah way. She is a top-tugger and a cheater and she must be made to pay. Girls like Hannah are a sickness in the sport; girls like me are the cure!" Virginie evidently not learning her lesson, wearing a torso-hugging royal blue tank top (tuggable) and scarlet cotton panties; hair up, thin ringlets framing face; small black work out gloves. Hannah in hot pink torso-hugging cotton tank top, paler pink panties; small black workout gloves; feisty blonde tousle and that infectious grin.

During R1: Virginie stronger, Hannah quicker. Ledoyen spearing her jab, following up a hacking right hand to carry herself into Hannah: Spearritt rolling and ducking, pushing into Virginie when she arrives, then scrubbing her raw with swishing side to side left/rights. Hannah baring her teeth - scoot stepping to either side: right hand open as she taps away brisk stick, knocking at Virginie's brows. Ledoyen sullen, crouching, trying to step close, but latter half the round sees Spearritt keep it outside - dotting and poking away her jab, dropping in the odd right hand, staying in constant hopping motion to take the first. Hannah grinning back over her shoulder as she's leaving for her corner: minx!

R2: Ledoyen long and strong with overhand rights, forcing Hannah to duck down: Virginie twists both her fists in Spearritt's cotton top, giving the little blonde a great yank-and-twist, pulling Hannah in a tight counterclockwise circle. Spearritt yelping, scrambling to stay upright, her hands pulling at Virginie's. Ledoyen whirling Hannah about; pushing and pulling her in a violent shaking motion, then; maintaining the left hand grip on pink tank top while drawing back the right and giving Hannah a tremendous clout about the mouth. Spearritt's head jolted about - she's dropped to her buttocks in astonishment - crowd booing as Virginie turns bully. Spearritt up at 8, but rattled: Ledoyen rushing in - reaching her left hand to snag Hannah's top, then reefing, tugging and turning her about - practically swinging Hannah ragdoll to canvas. Rough stuff - Spearritt tempest tossed: Ledoyen labelling her blonde big clouting rights after giving her a good shaking. Ref working hard to sort things out - issuing breaks and waggling his finger in Ledoyen's furious face: she just glares at him, wanting only to tear up more Hannah.

R3: Hannah regroups - goes right at Virginie's top, twisting both small mitts into cotton to get a good grip before reefing. Ledoyen yelping unhappily as SHE'S swung about - Spearritt almost twirling on her heels once she builds up swinging momentum. Hannah also holding Virginie with the left at the chest while smiting her righty: blonde employing an open right hand back and forth (totally illegal) - clapping Ledoyen dizzy and earning immediate referee intervention. Finally, official's had enough: he pulls both vixens by one arm, berating them and demanding them to behave: glaring eyes, heaving chests, trembling thighs all around as girls don't seem to be registering much.

R4: Virginie gets the better of it - twisting her left fist in Hannah's top to help stabilize blonde at the ropes while plugging right hand to trembling belly. Hannah squirming, suffering - gets bullied and roughed up as Ledoyen dominates sloppy action.

R5: Hannah uses her feet - hopping and sidestepping, pivoting and walking around, frisky backside just a-jumpin' in her cottons as she works the ring. Spearritt's right hand open near her cheek as she's pumping stick - knocking her left jab PIK! PAK! PEK! against Virginie's frustrated brows. Hannah closes the right hand when dropping it down on Virginie, then opens it again when using left hand technique. Blonde pitches a classy shutout, only tugging Virginie's top as a means of sidestepping her or pulling her offbalance.

R6: Hannah scoot-stepping around, frustrating Virginie - blonde's jab not as venomous as a Portman's but it's quick and accurate - nibbling and vexing the French woman. First minute spent dabbing and chipping at Virginie's face and hairline, then Hannah reaches in to grab that top, twisting both fists in clinging cotton to give a good swinging yank. Poor Virginie spun around, dragged to her knees at one point and clouted an open-hand right - forehand and back - as Hannah stands brazen above her, holding and hitting a downed opponent! Later, Ledoyen looking a little shabby, nevertheless joins into a mutual tugging late - both girls swinging each other in a wild counterclockwise reel, little biceps bulging with effort. Then, still tugging, they settle down to stomp at each other's bare feet! Squeals of outrage as they hop about, pulling each other, stomping toes, crying out - ref issues more breaks, gives the girls a good shaking a-piece to instill order.

R7: Hannah getting the better of Virginie, slowly discouraging her. Chippy, chiselling jab doing wonders, really scuffing up French brows with constant nibble. Hannah's right hand not heavy, but it's catching Ledoyen clean across the face - Hannah keeping the mitt open to the last minute, then dropping the fist down hammer-style. Hannah's hook a nimble little stroke - she scrapes it across Virginie's face thumb-side first, palm down - very quick off the jab or pokey left uppercut. Hannah's top tugging really demoralizing Ledoyen as Virginie's constantly destabilized - and Spearritt's whaling away forehands and backhands - smiting Ledoyen open-handed rights back and forth while left hand clutches her top. Virginie woozy at the bell, blinking: Hannah leans in and viciously stomps her heel down on Ledoyen's toes, causing French vixen to sob aloud, hop on the spot and hold her right foot in both hands. Tanktop status: both tops distorted, twisted and stretched.

R8: Virginie squinting, bravely walking through Hannah's chippy jabs - French lass reaches her left in to secure Hannah's top, tugging British girl forward onto a gutting right to breadbasket. Hannah gurgling, doubling up: Virginie's still got her tugged, turns her counterclockwise, pulls her in, stuffs another right hand to midsection. Hannah being flung about, jerked and twisted, then slugged tuff in her guts: Spearritt crying out, staggering around as Ledoyen reasserts control. Ref issues break, but Virginie lunges, catches Hannah relaxed with a right cross on the mouth: startled blonde stumbles backward with a dazed expression. Ledoyen's left hand takes hold of Hannah's right tank-strap, tugging her forward onto a pair of gutting rights to tummy. Spearritt grunting groggy, lips parted, eyelashes fluttering as her knees give a shimmy. Virginie jostling Hannah with the left-hand grip at the shoulder strap, then SMOKING her a hard right cross: Hannah goes limp with the clout, still standing, but swaying ragdoll on the spot. Hannah's right hand comes up limp to pull on Virginie's left wrist when another right hand crashes home. Poor Spearritt - she's dazed, hurt, unable to answer - Virginie's just sorting her out, lining her up, cracking her righty, working dolphin-mouthed blonde over. Hannah's head tossing right, then lolling forward, glassy eyes just staring at Virginie. Ledoyen allowed to slam away righty until Hannah wilts to her knees: Virginie tugging on that shoulder strap, shouting "UP! Get UP!" as Spearritt's dangling there, hands at her sides, head lolling. Ref moves in, waves it off as Spearritt's upright, swaying on her knees, but clearly helpless. KO8 Virginie Ledoyen.

After: "TRAMP!" Ledoyen sings over her shoulder as she struts off - scuffed French features beaming with exultation. Poor Hannah gobsmacked - Virginie prancing about the ring: French vixen gets the better of top tugging tactics, wearing out little blonde chin with fierce late punching. Both girls with much to answer for - the aforementioned tugging, the toe-stomping, Hannah's open-handed backing and forthing on Virginie; Virginie's holding and hitting on Hannah. FCBA hearings set for an indeterminate date in the future: heavy fines expected to be levied as feisty flyweights face consequences for their rambunctious antics. "Maybe this sort of thing goes on the beaches of Cannes or St. Tropez," says one snooty stuffed-shirt at FCBA HQ, "but it certainly has no place in an FCBA ring."
