UNIFIED WELTERWEIGHT TITLE BOUT

Before: Hurley taking a lot of heat for this defence - Winslet out of shape at the best times, a willing, plucky slugger, but hardly in the class of London Liz. Kate needs to put punches together, overwhelm the slick southpaw - something she's rarely been able to do in the past against even mediocre welterweights. Liz in the U Jack bikini - Winslet in a purple and pink horizontal stripe crop top with short sleeves, laced up the front, bare midriff, purple and pink high waist bottoms.
R1-3: Liz having her way - Winslet cooperating. Katie just plodding forward, obviously wary - she's not moving her hands much, keeping a rigid guard in place, not moving her head, walking into punches. Hurley dancing, leggy at times, flat footed, supple and slipping at others. When moving to the right, Liz lashes right hooks body and head at Kate, really welting the girl with whippy impact. When stationary and countering - Liz looks for the left hand down the middle, capitalizing on Winslet's misses.

R4: Winny misses a right over the top - Liz licks her body a swiping left, comes out of the crouch with a sneaky right hook and Kate's on her backside for 8! Liz content with the knockdown, not really pressing the issue - she goes back to patient counterpunching, slipping low under Winslet's rare punches, snacking on the midsection, cashing in on chin before Kate can get her defence back together.

R5: Kate with some determined pressure, shows pluck this round. Hurley left hand at her cheek, right across her stomach, bending and rolling with her back to the ropes - Kate crowding in, riding up with her guard on Liz' shoulder, then clubbing and clouting rights and lefts to belly, hips and back. Good volume gets Liz off her game - she looks to shoulder bump and punch her way off the ropes and Winny SCORCHES Hurley chin a clubbing right hand in the melee. LIZ GOES DOWN! Hurley bumped to her butt at the ropes, kicking her legs out and scrambling back up immediately - she's all flushed and huffy, pushing against the ref as he administers the 8. Insult to injury - Liz wants to punish her challenger for that cheeky knockdown, but it's Winslet getting her way, piling into Liz, fighting off Hurley's chest and beating her body with two fisted determination to the bell. Liz snarling, shoving Kate in rounded shoulders after the break - ref gets involved before mayhem ensues.

R8: The cruelty of Liz Hurley. Hurley out cold hearted this round, slicing and dicing a bewildered Kate as Liz circles, rips right hooks midring. Katie getting shook in her body, then clocked on her ear, then clipped on the chin as Liz turns hooks into right uppercuts, wheeling to the right after licking Winny senseless. Katie wobbly butt after the first minute - gloves up stupid, trying to lean in - Liz just stays on her. Hurley goes flat footed at the midway point after breaking Kate down sufficiently - now she's slipping under Winny's rights, licking the belly the left hand, coming up to swipe that chin the clean right hook. Winslet down in the last minute, up with glassy eyes - she's helpless as a vindictive Hurley strides in. Stroking, lanky punches - Liz just strapping 'em in with fluid, supple delivery - Winslet defenseless, getting hurt in her body, clocked clean on her chin - ref steps in to halt the massacre before the bell. TKO8 Liz Hurley.

After: Hurley taking a bawling, beat up Winslet for a shabby walk of shame - Liz glaring, angry at the unexpected punishment she received and determined to extract every ounce of dignity from her defeated quarry. Winslet having her moment in the sun, but paying for it dearly, Hurley never one to spare the lash when she gets a girl underfoot. No comment from Liz on Charlize' brazen assertion that she's the money at welter - intolerable insurrection simply unprecedented - it's like having 2 popes!
