With a fight coming up at Seasons Beatings, 24 year old Willa will want a quick and decisive victory against the 37 year old Alesha, who has lost 12 of her last 13 fights, the last 4 by knockout, and she’s becoming the type of girl who gets used for practice by the younger fighters.

Into the ring they come, with Alesha in a baby blue vest and pants set tonight, her gloves and boots matching her outfit, with the shorter Willa in a red one-piece outfit, with red gloves and white boots.

Round 1

The girls swap jabs early in the round, each of them testing the other, with Alesha on her toes, and outboxing Willa from range, the younger girl doing what she can to overcome her disdvantage there, which isn’t great, but Alesha’s making use of her extra reach anyway, and her left jab is finding Willa’s face a fairly easy target as the round goes on, the younger girl hitting back with bodyshots, though, and trying to take the sting out of Alesha, who’s in a determined mood tonight, and she’s certainly taking control in the closing seconds as she pops Willa backwards, the younger girl nodding towards her at the bell, realising that this isn’t going to be an easy fight after all.

Round 2

Still on her toes, Alesha’s handing out some good punches on Willa, who looks a little preoccupied right now, not just getting inside the older girl’s longer reach, she’s conceding the centre of the ring to her, Alesha gratefully accepting the chance to take command, and she again has Willa on the back foot, her head being constantly stabbed backwards by Alesha’s jabs, the Brit trying her luck with a right hook to follow up, which Willa avoids, and counters, stinging Alesha’s face with a pair of crisp punches, and at last she starts to show the fans what she has in her locker as she takes the fight to Alesha at last, thudding punches into the older girls body, and she gives her quite a glare at the end of this round, Alesha refusing to acknowledge that she came second in that one.

Round 3

Alesha’s refusal to acknowledge that Willa took round 2 seems to have offended the younger girl, who hits and hurts the British babe with a couple of good hooks to her face, and gives her some punishment to her body to follow it up, Alesha now moving less easily, and moving backwards, covering, then clinching, leaning onto the younger girl to sap her energy, but Willa’s sharp enough to land shots in Alesha’s body, short, bruising punches, which hurt, and make the older girl gasp, but Willa must know that Alesha won’t lay down easily for her, and she can’t get any punishing leather landing on the Brit’s lovely face, Alesha’s eyes still bright at the bell, but she has taken a lot of shots to her ribs and flanks in this round, which Willa bossed right through.

Round 4

Willa comes out firing again, and this time she does find Alesha’s face, the Brit stepping back, drawing Willa cloer to her, and counter punching neatly, and she’s hurt Willa with a left hook to the mouth which has the younger girl covering up, Alesha not getting involved in a toe to toe duel though, stepping back, and handing the initiative back to the American, who cuffs her to the ribs some more, Alesha still keeping herself upright though, looking confident despite handing Willa far too much in terms of room, and she ends the round poorly, with the younger girl almost bringing her down with a good little uppercut, Alesha taking it though, and hanging on til the bell, but she looks like she might be tiring now as the younger girl starts to bully her.

Round 5

It’s Willa in control again as the girls get back into the centre of the ring, the younger girl bumping Alesha around the body again, but she isn’t bringing that guard down, and Alesha’s finding more space now, getting away from Willa’s short punches, and she’s starting to get her jab working again, Willa having to concede space and try to cover up, but Alesha’s beginning to land again, and she follows up as well, clipping Willa with a neat right hook, and that’s got the girl’s attention! Willa takes another step away from the resurgent Alesha, and she’s backing into the ropes with the taller girl giving her some sharp blows around her eyes and mouth, the girl puffing a little at the bell as Alesha sneaks a round back.

Round 6

The girls are hitting each other from the start of the round, but Alesha’s hurting Willa, forcing her backwards again, and she’s stunned her slightly with a left hook to the temple, Willa’s legs looking slightly rubbery as she clinches, fighting to get her breathing onto an even footing. The referee separates the girls, but Alesha’s soon back in action, knocking Willa to the left, then to the right, both punches sending her backwards, and there’s some swelling around Willa’s cheeks now as the Brit starts to close her down again, and she’s got her trapped in a neutral corner for a brief, brutal final blast, Willa in big trouble, her face lumping up quite horribly around her right eye, and she might think about staying on her stool here.

Round 7

She gets up slowly, but Willa is coming out for round 7, and Alesha greets her with three heavy shots to her ribs, and that has the younger girl wilting against the ropes, Alesha standing off slightly to give the referee chance to have a look, but he seems happy to let nature take its course, and Alesha’s being very composed, jabs Willa to the ropes, then puts her down with an uppercut and a left hook, the actress laying back and taking the count with barely a twitch of a muscle.

Result: Alesha Dixon knocked out Willa Holland in round 7.

At last Alesha has a win to celebrate! She consoles Willa, checking that the girl is ok, then stands on the ropes and pumps her arms in triumph, and she looks in the mood to celebrate for a long time!
