We join our scheduled post-match press conference already in progress.

“You didn’t expect me to roll over, did you? Sure, the loss to Lucy was gut wrenching. I’d rather get planted than to lose that way, but I think I showed what Eliza Dushku is made of. I dominated the best that continent across the pond has to offer AND after Virginie was pointing to me for a good long time.

“That’s the best effort I’ve put together for a long while. Is it because the head’s less heavy without the crown? Who knows? But I did warn the division to get ready. The Sheriff has reloaded and is about to put a few more notches in her belt.”

A shout comes from the assembled throng of media.

“Where are you going next? You know Claire wants you?”

Eliza flashes her pearlies.

“You know I always hear that and I guess it’s true, but she’s never come up to me woman-to-woman and asked, so I guess she doesn’t want it that bad. Besides, do you know what Virginie did to her? HISC has been very good to me and I don’t want to take bread out of their mouths by exposing her. She’s had a good run against the superflys and that’s nice, but I’m too much.

“I want Alba. She’s held that lucky punch over me forever and I’m sick of it. Anywhere she wants, any weight she wants. She’s been making money off me, using that punch to keep her name in the game without even getting in the ring. I’m gonna force her in the ring then force her out…for good.”
