BBU BOXING DAY PPV

BEFORE: Jodi Gordon is the last of the ACB members to make her official debut on the Boxing Day PPV and the crowd anticipates a ding-dong affair since Georgia Salpa openly stated she wants nothing more than to destroy the Australian model who herself has promised to follow suit on the likes of Jennifer Hawkins and Krystal Forscutt, both whom have made a name for themselves back in the early days of the ACB/BBU crossover project. Green & Gold Magazine's lead reporter Sarah Cumming even advertised Gordon as a superior prospect to both of the models mentioned before but neither Denise van Outen nor the Cardiff audience believes in such bravado and Jodi will have to earn the respect the usual way, preferably by knocking the Greek-English brunette out!
Jodi Gordon wears a floral schemed bikini with pink trim and golden gloves. Light brown hair tied in a loose bun at the back of her head. Georgia Salpa wears a white bikini set and black gloves. Raven-black hair tied in a custom ponytail. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the lightweight division.
Round 1:
Salpa wants to give the new girl a rough introduction and buries her along the ropes with a looping drive over the top and while Jodi maintains the tight guard in the opening minute, she begins to buckle down the stretch with the brunette's punches taking their toll through sheer ferocity that breaks the cover and connects with Gordon's face well into the second minute. Since the Aussie girl doesn't look to be a speed demon across the canvas, Georgia can thump her upstairs in close range without much trouble and in fact Jodi's debut round couldn't end any worse as she loses her footing while trying to escape and gets drilled on the mouth which spins her against the turnbuckle in the dying seconds and leaves Salpa breathing more venom with a piercing hook on the eye right at the death.
Round 2:
Another furious start from the Greek model who rips into Gordon's body and staggers her in the middle of the ring. Jodi tries to respond over the top but gets blocked and then bumped off on her heels as the brunette's rack comes to the fore and presses deep into the other cleavage leaving the Aussie very uncomfortable in close range. Georgia adds a right-on-right exchange that catches Gordon just a fraction quicker and follows up with a series on the guts which finally sends the Australian rookie reeling into the ropes. And there's not much hope for Jodi there as she gets tackled upstairs and ends the round with swollen lips, the effect of Salpa's punishing drive in the final seconds that makes the Cardiff Arena roar in support.
Round 3:
This is going too easy for the raven-haired model who staggers a truly cumbersome opponent in the middle of the ring again but Jodi actually finds her biggest punch of the night yet and clobbers Salpa over the top which briefly makes the Greek-English girl think better off it... and Jodi hits the double combo up the middle to crash into Georgia's jaw and send her reeling on her heels with a loud gasp.. suddenly a brutal strike nails her on the brow ridge and a flurry of punches follows with Salpa's black ponytail spinning around her neck and her arms dropping by the wayside... Jodi cracks a left hook on the nose AND DUMPS GEORGIA ON HER BACKSIDE sucking the air out of the rampant Cardiff support who clearly didn't expect such a massive turnaround... Salpa stares at her foe's shins in disbelief and wants to beat the count as quickly as possible, she's up at five and shoves the ref away trying to immediately get back at the Aussie but Gordon zips past glove over the top and nails on the nose again which now wobbles a moaning English girl back to the ropes where she must buckle up for a tremendous barrage to the bodu that leaves Jodi screaming out in delight as she peppers the brunette's ribcage and keeps her completely trapped for the remainder of the round.
Round 4:
Georgia can't quite understand what happened in the third round but Jodi suddenly thrives on confidence and rips a jabbing series upstairs to punish the brunette's face and just sink her on soft knees in the middle of the ring... furious leather carry dismantles Salpa's high guard and wobbles her into more uppercut misery that bumps an aching model onto the ropes where Gordon ravages her breadbasket and clips the rack for a good measure. No way out for Georgia who works single punches from the back foot but struggles to embrace the vastly improved opponent and gets her left brow ridge clobbered into a swollen reality come the final minute where the Aussie charge simply becomes too much and causes the injury. Salpa yelps in pain but with Gordon clipping her rack repeatedly there's just no way she can even clinch the fellow model and leans over the ropes at the bell struggling to catch her breath.
Round 5:
This is getting really tough now for the Greek brunette who soaks up a quick drive on the jugs and wobbles into a ripping series upstairs that shuts her eyes and just dumps on the ropes thereafter with Jodi working furiously to put her away. Salpa's aches and spasms are truly marking her demise and even when she finds a single punch to scythe Jodi's smile off, the Aussie throws three more in response and buries Georgia on the ropes again. A more experienced fighter would have finished the brunette off by this stage but Gordon tries to be too cute in her placement now being well aware of minimal resistance of her aching foe. Salpa gets drilled on the navel and bends forward in the closing stages but Jodi just can't find that last punch before the bell and simply bumps the mauled brunette towards her corner instead.
Round 6:
Salpa's chances are on life support but the proud model refuses to quit on her stool; Gordon comes crashing down on her within seconds of the bell though and pierces the high guard with a leather fury that dumps the helpless brunette on her heels, she tries to turn to the side and stay away in mid distance but gets clipped on the jaw and wobbles straight into a right handed piledriver on the nose... and THAT's the shot Jodi was looking for... Georgia goes all wobbly butt and FALLS FLAT ON HER FACE at Gordon's feet moments later... the Aussie struts back to her corner and the brave English model scampers back upright at eight but can't stop moaning her heart out and just shakes her head when the ref asks her if she wants to continue... the hollow look in her eyes indicates it was the best decision possible and the man in charge craddles her away to safety... TKO6 Jodi Gordon!!!
AFTER: The Aussie model looks overjoyed by her maiden BBU success and Denise van Outen must admit nobody saw this result coming after two rounds where Salpa just battered her bell-to-bell. Perhaps she will join Krystal Forscutt and Jennifer Hawkins as the next best thing from Down Under after all and you can almost predict Sarah Cumming's beeming on the sidelines. There's every chance Jodi makes the cover of Green & Gold:s next edition especially that Havana Brown remains more interested in hanging out with Frankie Cocozza rather than following her fellow compatriots. Jodi has all the tools to become a force in BBU but she'll need more verification to prove that. Georgia Salpa isn't even Lookout! Atlantic's top lightweight and she simply paid a heavy price for not punishing the Aussie model soon enough - when she still had a chance to put her away. Sometimes you only get one opportunity and Georgia badly mishandled that one.
