BEFORE: Forget the Lioness Club antics earlier on the card, THIS is the fight the whole of Brentwood was waiting for ever since they arrived on scene. Two girls born in the actual hosting city and star cast of the "The Only Way Is Essex" reality TV show are ready to rumble and even Denise van Outen - who's Essex born herself - must admit she didn't expect such a turnout for a couple of names that don't exactly set the BBU bantamweight division on fire. Billie Faiers is yet to win one of these fights and Amy Childs was thought to be semi-retired until she came out of the trenches to annihilate Charlotte McKenna's rack last month. She's already attracted the attentions of newcomer Jessica Michibata but even the most eye-catching American import must be put on hold when the Essex pride is on the line!
Billie has younger sister Sam working in her corner tonight and she disrobes into a sizzling neon blue bandeau bikini and black gloves. Blonde hair tied in a high ponytail. Amy Childs has asked another TOWIE starlet Lucy Mecklenburgh to help her out ringside and she sports an equally sizzling neon green bandeau bikini with black trim and silver gloves. Dark red hair in loose waves. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the bantamweight division.
Round 1:
Both girls waste no time whatsoever and begin to pound each other upstairs trying to gain immediate upper-hand but it's Billie who works her shots better in the opening minute smacking Amy's head around and scoring her best punch with a big uppercut on the jaw that spins the redhead with a quiet yelp. Amy tries to find her balance as she keeps getting hammered up the middle but the blonde thrives on the situation and blasts a left/right hooking combo on the temples which drops Childs' arms by the wayside. A drilling left hook catches the redhead on the eye and she wobbles into a right hand on the ear THAT SENDS CHILDS ON HER KNEES on the two minute mark. Brentwood crowd errupts in joy - allthough they would probably act the same way if Billie went down here - and the blonde immediately heads back to sister Sam in the corner to high-five her and scream out in delight. Amy looks shaken but not stirred by the knockdown as she rises to her feet at seven and barks in anger after noticing both Faiers sisters in such delight. However any comeback from the redhead is quickly tamed as Billie sends another drilling hook on the chest and stuffs Amy up in the center of the ring before trying to plain knock her out with a wild but erratic series upstairs that gains nothing expect for the crowd's support. Amy stumbles back to the ropes but is saved by the bell and she very much has a chip on her shoulder now after that high tempo opener.
Round 2:
Billie seems immediate follow up and blasts more hooks upstairs to graze the redhead's cheeks but Amy shows impressive balance on her feet to avoid another big combo and unloads a brutal overhand from the right that pierces the blonde's eye socket and makes her scream out on the spot. Faiers wobbles on her heels and doesn't react in time to cover Childs' flurry of jabs on the body that sink her on the knees even further. Billie's punching resistance was her main problem last year and it doesn't look like it's improved by any means as Amy hoofs the high guard aside and connects with the jaw rocking the blonde ponytail around and reeling the Faiers gal back to the ropes. Sam is screaming out in the corner but she can help her sister very little at this stage and Amy keeps plugging along on the body bending the blonde into a clinching escape but a piercing hook on the liver removes those ideas and has Billie caving in thereafter with Childs ripping brutal shots to the body and leaving her ribcage visibly reddened at the bell.
Round 3:
More from Childs who jumps into a quick hooking route up the middle; she tags Faiers' boobs and staggers her in the middle oft the ring before piercing the high guard again to punish the jaw. Billie sags on her knees and wobbles forward when she gets nailed a couple of times and her overhand response finds thin air... a desperate lunge from the left goes horribly wrong and allows Amy to bury a right hand on the solar plexus which SENDS THE BLONDE DOWN ON HER KNEES moments later... terrible resistance from Faiers who hugs her guts immediately after tasting the boards and sister Sam is left speechless in the corner as well. Lucy Mecklenburgh pumps her protegee up and Amy keeps it strictly business while staring at the blonde's slow recover. Billie's up at eight but remains rooted to the spot and she doesn't even try to escape the looming leather rush. Amy shatters her mitts aside and connects with the cheeks at will pounding the helpless foe back to the ropes where she unloads more vicious harpoons around the elbows and just sinks Billie into loud spasms at the bell, the blonde completely shut off from offence since that knockdown.
Round 4:
Amy refuses to sit down and bunny hopes in her corner during the interval and it really looks like she's shaken off that knockdown already while Billie is having clear breathing problems and looks very slow on her feet which only aids to the redhead's advantage. Another body stalking approach staggers Faiers in the middle of the ring and her guard collapses alltogether come the second minute when Amy riffles upstairs and knocks the ponytail around. A left hand on the navel sinks Billie on soft knees again and she can't even clinch her rival now which leaves Childs with a point blank range execution... one-two on the chest lifts the blonde's boobs against her slumping chin and the left hook on the ear is a formality too... FAIERS SPINS TO THE SIDE BUT HER LEFT LEG GIVES WAY and she crashes down on her bums before rolling over on her back!!! Nothing but silence from sister Sam but the Essex crowd is loving this! The pride is on the line so Billie tries to make it back onto her feet but needs to lift herself by the ropes and looks shaken AND stirred unlike her opponent in the opening round... the ref gives her thumbs up but Amy just blasts through the leaky guard and smacks the blonde's lips into a swollen mess before just roughing her up in the corner and looking for a stoppage already. Nothing comes back from the battered blonde who just stands there and accepts the redhead rush... but the clock saves her from a looming disaster even if Amy is so arrogant right now she actually delivers a late blow to the breasts spinning the tired looking Billie against the turnbuckle and earning herself a word with the referee. She doesn't care about it one bit though and looking at Billie's face it's easy to understand why!
Round 5:
The Faiers tank is empty and the blonde basically stumbles out of her stool to find Childs ripping a monster hook into her swollen lips before a right cross tags her on the nose and pulls the plug on all comeback hopes on the spot... Billie goes wobbly butt with her hands desperately rolling down the windows and Amy has time to deliver the coup de grace but she simply bursts the blonde's nostrils into a bloody mess and kills the fight off on the spot.... FAIERS GOES DOWN ON HER BACK and that's the loudest thump you've heard in Essex this year! No way back from this one, folks!!! KO5 Amy Childs in a very rough TOWIE style special!!!
AFTER: Sam Faiers seeks immediate revenge and doesn't even care about her sister's well being at this moment... she jumps into the ring and tries to tackle the redhead down on the canvas... she avoids the quick hook aimed at her head and barges her head into Amy's rack bringing her down on her back in the proccess... she mounts the winner's tummy and begins to slap her face for a brief second UNTIL she gets dragged by the hair from behind... that's Lucy Mecklenburgh throwing her three cents to the TOWIE Special and instead of the official announcement the Brentwood crowd gets to witness an all out catfight between three girls... and now Lucy's no longer on Amy's side as she whacks her on the chin and begins to pull Sam Faiers' hair out... even Denise van Outen is bemused in the booth: "That's why Essex lacks respect in BBU! Those girls are downright crazy! OK, and now Sam has a bald spot coming! What a mess!"
Lucy Mecklenburgh wins the three-way catfight after ripping out a chunk of Sam Faiers' hair to send her crying down on her knees next to sister Billie's fallen flesh and actually landing a knee to Amy Childs' crotch that makes the boxing winner hobble off the ring throwing verbal abuse at everyone around. Guess she regrets asking Lucy over after all? And the cameras flash with Lucy planting her foot over Billie's rack and waving the ripped chunk of Sam's hair in the air with the other Faiers sister bend across the canvas to reveal the bald spot. Ouch! So who exactly is your TOWIE Special winner? One should guess we haven't heard the last of these girls and a return to Brentwood will be ruled mandatory by league executives sooner rather than later!
Final result: Amy Childs def. Billie Faiers KO5.
