Before: Ledoyen crosses the pond after extensive negotiations - true sign that she wants to fight since she's making good money fighting nobodies in her own backyard and doesn't need the payday. Mish brazenly confident in pre-fight, unconcerned with Virginie's power: "The girl can pop, we know that, but I've really figured out tall flyweights at this point. I want her to punch - it'll open up that ribcage so I can get to work. I'm going to win every round, take my time, do her right." Not everyone buying the Williams version - a non plussed Kelly Packard tells announcers, "How much of this do we have to take? First Rachel Stevens, now Virginie Ledoyen - Mish Williams has no business calling herself a champion fighting stiffs like these. Of course she beats Ledoyen - Virginie is tailor made for someone like Williams. This is the worst case of title-padding I've ever seen." Mish in classy black bikini, Virginie in black leather bra style bikini.

During R1: Mish nice and relaxed, working the ring like a veteran, touching Virginie's chest with a rangefinding jab, circling to check Ledoyen's movement. Virginie with her fists at her chest, loping after the shorter blonde and torquing into side to side haymakers, missing a lot of overhand rights, but finding the distance with slashing, come-back lefts. Midway through it happens - Mish misjudges distance, steps back not far enough and gets caught a gorgeous swinging right on the side of the face. Ledoyen twists back the other way, bouncing the left off Mish's skull, snapping the fist back to her chest on follow through, then hopping into another slinging right that caroms off Williams' brow - MISH IS HURT! Mish stumbling in disarray to the ropes, completely unwound by the hurtling power of the lanky brunette and VIRGINIE GOES TO TOWN! All squared away - Ledoyen unloads on a hurting and defenceless Mish Williams. Splattering lefts and rights, big, swinging delivery but the fists are crashing home, Virginie bringing her mitts back sharp to her chest to reset for each individual haymaker. Just a gut check for the champ as she sits in the ropes and takes a beating - Mish Williams battered senseless at the bell, wanders to the wrong corner as cornermen gather her in.

R2: Virginie flushed with success, comes out poking the right hand to set up her lashing left hook, then finishing up with the sweeping overhand right as Williams still looks rocky. Mish gritting her teeth, starts to get it together, finally moving her head, moving IN, under the sweeping punches instead of pulling back, and countering with biting strokes to ribcage underneath. Mish making Virginie miss, making her pay starts to take command and by the middle minute Ledoyen looks confused. Williams slipping inside, stepping to either side and pulling in vicious body shots or clipping uppercuts to the chin. Ledoyen ashen faced as the hits pile up and when Mish beats her to a short right hand inside, Virginie takes a woozy seat - eyes vacant. Ledoyen takes her 8, strides forward to load up a right hand and Mish BEATS HER TO THE PUNCH! Williams stepping in and down, curling the right hand off Ledoyen's face then crouching low as the brunette soaks up the shock, then crashes to lie stunned on her back. KO2 Mish Williams as Virginie groans in her sleep.

After: Not exactly the way they drew it up, but Williams warrior enough to dig down and stop her foe once things went haywire. Mish still not right in the moments immediately after - sensational brawl could have gone either way with both girls swinging and connecting in reckless action.
