Before: Confident challenger, confident champion. Kelly: "You hear a lot about the 'new and improved' Mish Williams, but I think a lot of that's hype. Just because she can frustrate a limited Claire Danes doesn't mean she can handle a Kelly Packard. She's not going to be able to walk me down the way she did Claire, not without paying the price. That body of her's is like a loaf of poundcake - I know I can hurt her downstairs and I'll be busting her up in the face all night long. Add it up, Mish Williams is getting exposed, big time." Williams: "You know I'm going to be bringing it to Kelly - the days when a finesse fighter could just dictate to me are SO over. I'll be roughing her up, sure, but don't be surprised to see me out-BOX Kelly. I guess that's the lesson she missed from the Danes fight: I make people fight my fight now, not the other way around." Mish in black bra style bikini, white lace trim, Kelly in classic black string bikini.

During R1: Kelly working Mish like a master - circling left, touching the champ up. Packard's hands high, spearing jabs belly and face - Mish with dukes at chin, twisting into haymakers, missing. Packard changing distance with just a little lean back, dragging her front foot, always in position to take advantage, Williams crouching forward, unable to get her distance. Bell to bell paint job from Kelly - by the final minute she's landing stinging crosses, biting hooks off that accurate stick.

R2: Williams moving her head better, timing Packard better, able to get in on occasion and bang the ribcage. Kelly still dictating terms: ranging left, easing back onto her right foot to change distance, cuffing Mish the counter hook, transitioning to lead with jabs and crosses. Packard insolent with that rigid left, hooking Mish with it, uppercutting Mish, always keeping the jab on. Packard also stacking up Williams' rushes with chugging volleys to the midriff - Mish storming forward, then forced backward under pressure - Kelly committing to Williams body as promised. Another round for Kelly, Williams lumping up, told to settle down and stay focused in her corner.

R3: Packard back on top with that jab, workmanlike as she leans in and out, pivots left and gets CLOCKED a savage right hand counter over the top. PACKARD GOES DOWN! Kelly blasted to all fours by the looping blast to her eye - challenger takes 8 and on comes the champion! Mish with a gritty barrage up against the ropes, tight lefts and rights, HAMMERING away at the ribcage, rough with her head and forearms on the inside. Williams on wide feet, bracing Kelly with her left elbow in between murderous whallops - Packard covering up, just trying to ride it out. Kelly spilling to a corner - final minute is disasterous as champ just TUNES her up - hooks, uppercuts, Williams standing up into glorious right hands to the breadbasket as Kelly wilts in anguish. Packard dazed, taking punches - Mish pours it on after the bell to make her point as the ref pulls her away.

R4: Mish grinning, charges the ring to open and runs into a buzzsaw of left hooks! Packard's right hand tight to her cheek - she just CHOPS away at her foe, stepping right, hooking, hooking, hooking as Williams goes wobbly butt. Kelly morphing hooks into jabs, feinting, then coming with the jagged little left uppercut - champ on her heels, staggering to the ropes in desperate trouble. Packard planting, chopping right hands on a vulnerable left eye, digging up into the midriff with vicious hooks and MISH STARTS SLUGGING! Williams gritting her teeth, brawling back - hammer and tongs as the girls whack away side to side, lighting each other up with shattering blows on the jaw. Furious 2 way punching spills into overtime as the ref gets involved once again - both beauties seething, chests heaving, eyes glaring - neither wants to give the other any confidence.

R5: Kelly chewing Mish up in the face. Packard heartless as jabs track Williams' head no matter what she does. Packard right hands stamp flush to Mish's battered face, Packard hooks stroke the jawline, knocking Williams sideways. Mish keeps coming, swelling badly, bleeding from the nose. Kelly dragging that front foot as she slides back, effortlessly walking Mish into gut-rocking hooks up underneath, then turning her girl with a hand at the elbow as Williams stoops forward. Packard getting gorgeous, clean connects - Mish getting drilled, shivering, buckling, then coming on - it's carnage. Bell to bell Packard as she takes Williams apart but can't break her - Williams taunting at the bell even as she sways hurt on uncertain legs

R6: Packard gritting her teeth, circling left - intent on breaking her girl down. Williams stepping over, cutting off the ring and countering Kelly's jab effectively with right hands over top. Midway through, Mish bounces a right off Kelly's skull, turns into a hook - Packard stutter steps and Williams reloads. Mish into the body with roundhouse fury - rights and lefts wide to the ribs - Packard's face pale as she hits the ropes in swoon. Kelly clinching around her girl's head, but it's weak - Mish rocks her back with a left uppercut and puts her loopy with a crashing right on the lips. Mish just unloading, shoving gloves through Packard's outstretched arms, brawling the classy beauty with old fashioned pressure. Down the stretch, Packard with hands on Mish's shoulders - Williams digs that hook to the ribs, arches her back into an immediate left uppercut - head-toss Packard and KELLY GOES DOWN! Kelly swooning to her knees, hands on Mish's hips - and WILLIAMS POUNDS AWAY! Kelly staring hurt up into the punishment as ref takes a hand once again. Williams jiggly as she tries to shove her way past - Packard in dreamland, benefitting greatly from the delayed count.

R7: Packard's amazing resilience. Kelly busting up and badly hurt, comes out disciplined as ever, picking Mish up with the jab, breaking the blonde's forward rushes up, then pivoting to turn the champ. Packard working everything off the stick - harsh straight right hands wet to the face, bang-banging double hooks up underneath - Mish grunting as she hunches over on impact. Williams getting her licks in as well, loading up, swinging wide right hands at her foe's slender body - Kelly shaken, recovering to keep up her chopping attack. Action slowing, becoming more a series of exchanges as the girls take turns working each other over.

R8: Mish making hay with two beat punching: she'll bounce the hook off the ribs, then jerk the left uppercut between her girl's gloves. Same thing with the right hand. Packard getting loose in the knees, unravelling, stumbling around the ring - Mish the aggessor as she rocks Packard, walks her down. From the midway point on, it's a brutal Mish Williams mauling at the ropes - Packard just trying to survive with groaning coverups and clinches. When Kelly ties up Mish's left, Williams cracks home a series of bludgeoning rights to the side of the head. When Kelly covering up, Mish helps herself to the waistline, working in behind the elbows, occasionally standing up into gaudy right hands. Down the stretch, Williams indulges herself on Kelly's perky tits, palming her girl back, getting her shoulder in behind short, concussive blasts to the sacks. Packard staring, swaying at the bell - Mish grinning at the sensational punishment she doled out that round.

R9: Mish rings Kelly up an opening right hand counter - Williams making good on her promise to box, victimizing Kelly's world class jab. Packard stumbling sideways, hands at her chest - she's hurt again, disappointed, exhausted - and the whirlwind champ just keeps coming. Punches explode off Kelly's hips, ribs, chin, forcing her to the ropes. Williams crowding in, bodying Packard upright with the head under the chin, marauding to the body with fists and forearms. Williams so cute the way she rides that left hand around Packard's side, beating the woman's body with free right hands. Kelly's legs shot - she's just willing herself to stand in, keeping her head on Mish, trying to smother. Bell to bell round for the champ and she keeps piling it on after the bell - ref pushing Mish back and imploring her to listen for his breaks.

R10: Kelly ROCKS Michelle's legs with the right uppercut early - Williams storming straight into the punch - Packard neatly sidestepping right, palming Mish's shoulder to turn/push her around. Packard determined to go at Mish hard - stepping right while still close, gouging Williams in the stomach, coming back up to her jaw, putting punches together, then stepping around Mish's left shoulder. Williams groggy, but answering back - girls taking turns shaking each other in the midsection with hooks, backing each other up with sharp combinations. Toe to toe brawling continues on after the bell - both girls want to be the last to land as thriller comes down to the wire. Decision: DRAW! Williams retains her belts!

After: Mish does it again, scratching and clawing for draws to maintain her hold on power. Packard heartbroken, drained by the announcement - Williams badly beaten herself, but happy to lift her mitts and strut it up. "HBO - the FCBA - everyone tried to screw me AGAIN," says a bruised and swollen champ, "just because I'm not one of their glamour queens. Well, everyone saw what happened in there tonight. They call it a draw - I call it Kelly bounced off the canvas twice, on the verge of stoppage countless times. I landed the meaningful punches in this fight - she did what she always does - slap and dance. She's on the scrap heap with Danes where she belongs and I'M still the boss!" Packard downcast, beat beyond recognition and aching to have come so close, "She hurt me, no doubt about it. Plenty of times I thought I was going out, but I didn't. And I stood up and gave it back to her - if she were any kind of woman at all, she'd admit I had her in the fifth and the ref gave her the benefit of the doubt by not stopping it. I don't know how she's doing it - anybody can see she's the worst champion in boxing." Sticks and stones - Mish comes away with the titles, forcing Kelly to slug and finding ways to get what she wants in there. Both girls showed versatility - Mish using timing and headmovement to good effect, Packard standing her ground and moving her hands in spots.
