Before: Say what you want about Mish Williams - she's fought the toughest comp around, she's come away with the belts after every challenge, and she's in there again against her number one contender. Wuhrer settling in at bantam, but making 110 for the title bout - she's got rangy height on Williams, can box, can slug - there's nothing about her that's not dangerous to the champ. Mish evolving from a walk in slugger to a more complete package over the years, but pundits wonder how she's going to solve the physical challenges Wuhrer represents. Mish in black push up and panties, white lace trim, Kari in pale blue crop top, string laced up the front, tight baby doll sleeves, bare midriff, navy boy cut trunks, brown curls tied back.

During R1: Wuhrer looking to establish the jab early, buzzing down on Mish with right hands, but blonde solving distance with low, side to side head movement. Mish crouching in, getting underneath Wuhrer's shots and ripping up into the breadbasket and ribs - murderous body punching has Kari backing up in brutal early exchanges. Williams able to sustain, banging Wuhrer to the ropes - she's got Kari planted in a wide stance, challenger winging bombs, but blonde's ducking the shots, countering with vicious impact to the torso. Sizzling violence - both girls blasting away, but Kari's missing, Mish landing and breaking her girl down. Final moments, Williams methodically working Wuhrer's midsection, crouching, stepping to either side with Kari sagging against the ropes, both girls pitching and WUHRER GOES DOWN! Head snaps to the side, Wuhrer faltering to one knee as Mish whalloping wide to the body, comes upstairs with a clouting right on the chin to punctuate the round. Champ unscathed - maybe one of the best rounds of her career leaves Wuhrer demoralized at the bell.

R2: Mish just putting bricks to Kari's rib-walls and stomach - Wuhrer gritting her teeth, forced to slug as Williams effectively negates the jab. This is crisp, shattering action. Wuhrer making an adjustment, bringing her elbows in, going to tight uppercuts rather than sweeping down on her foe and it's working - Williams catching flush, getting rocked onto her heels as the battle pitches back and forth. Down the stretch - Wuhrer blocking downstairs with her elbows and forearms, then picking Mish up tough in the chest and chin - blonde gets unhinged, starts to wobble as brunette bangs away with rhythmic, alternating uppercuts. Williams busted up and swooning at the bell - she clinches loosely around challenger's midsection - Kari pushing at her foe's neck and shoulder to get punching room.

R3: Mish stubbing out her jab on Kari's breasts and face - Wuhrer backing off, trying to go back to boxing as an answer, but it's all part of Mish's plan. Williams able to weave in underneath and get to that toned midsection again with grisly hooks and right hands - Kari wounded, groaning, cringing and backing away - Mish is rolling her up. Crunching body work pays off up top as Williams batters her girl at the ropes - blonde thumping the tummy, palming the shoulders, jerking in tight uppercuts to soften up Wurher's chin at the bell.

R4: Shelling continues! Mish wades into a whalloping wide right hand on the jaw - blonde staggers, then holds her ground, dipping side to side to pull haymakers into her foe's arms and flanks as Wuhrer grits her teeth. Toe to toe mayhem - Wuhrer's best work being done with short right uppercuts timed inside William's wide rights - Mish pounding the body with berserker rage, hips and trunks fair game as blonde unleashes with mindless fury. Pitching and catching and WUHRER'S HURT! Kari cramping up, face pinched - she's not throwing - Mish swarming her, belting her flanks and ears with cudgelling blows as the challenger leans forward and WUHRER GOES DOWN! Kari on all fours, spits out her mouthpiece and it's OVER! Kari Wuhrer all used up - KO4 Williams!

After: Mish bounding around the ring out of control, all in all one of her best performances against high level opposition. Williams executing brilliantly to stop Wuhrer from boxing, then when the brawl was on, blonde simply punched her foe to her knees. Kari refusing to give credit in postfight, claiming she was 'dead at the weight' and calling this her last fight at sub110 - sore loser in more ways than one as Mish lays down the law. "I'm just glad it wasn't another draw," chirps a happy champ in postfight, "I mean, it's all about keeping what's mine, but it's nice to really put it to someone, make 'em quit early. Tonight, I felt and fought like a dominant champion - Wuhrer didn't start out as a punk - I made her into one."
