Before: Mish rubbing her hands together in prefight, "I can't WAIT to get Salma in the ring," purrs the blonde, "I love being a legend killer and it's Hayek's turn." Salma equally respectful, "Michelle Williams is a joke. In Mexico - we laugh at her - we have telethon hostesses who could beat her. It has been a long road back for me, but now that I'm here - it will be a long road down for this 'Mish'." Intriguing fight with Hayek looking like the hellcat of old, Williams coming off one of her career best performances - good battle of hot champ vs hot number 1 contender. Hayek in red bikini, gold loops between breasts and at hips - Mish in black push up, black boy cut trunks. During ring instructions, Mish 'accidentally' shoves a glove into Salma's tits after touching up "Oh sorry" then slaps a left to the face as the Mexican goes ballistic, ref gets involved and fight gets delayed.

During R1: Mutual consent, girls basically climb into a two foot square pit, get mouth on shoulder on each other and beat the bejesus out of offending bellies, ribs, tits and chins on the inside. Both adept at reaching the left arm under the opponent's right, shouldering the girl back, clubbing in the short right, then stepping back to clip the hook inside as well. Shattering two way exchanges, girls face on face for the most part, but nobody's clinching - it's all about getting leather on meat and wearing the other girl out. Crowd thrilling stuff, but gradually, Hayek's forcing stubborn retreat on Mish. Final minute, Williams back against the ropes - Hayek able to open up a little, flaring that Duran hook to the liver with shivering leverage to hammer out the points.

R2: Salma got wince out of champ at the end of the first - she goes back to those rightside ribs, liver area with a crashing torrent of hooks. Williams can't stand her ground - she's grimacing, getting beat up a little now as she tries to slow Salma with shoulder butts, then quick-step outs for hopeful counter hooks. Hayek head down, bringing the fight to Mish - she just won't be denied - constant banging assault has Williams' legs looking suspect. Down the stretch, Hayek marauding, Williams going to a defensive jab to create space, retreating. Suddenly, Mish stops, left extended and she drives her body in behind a right hand that barely leaves her shoulder, catching a charging Hayek flush on the face. Mish bends in and down, Hayek folds limp over the blonde's back, then sprawls to the canvas and it's OVER! Good Lord - KO2 Mish Williams.

After: Thin trail of blood from Salma's left nostril - she's starfished on her back, fast asleep - what a hammer job! Mish Williams with a shocking one punch blast - kind of right hand we haven't seen in ages from the champ, turns a rampaging challenger into a smoldering pile of brunette in a heartbeat. "I've always had the right hand," says a grinning Mish on camera, "people think of me as a left hooker, but my best punch has always been the short right and we KNEW we could get that punch on Salma 'cause she leads with her face. Cat told me - 'the right hand will knock her out because she doesn't respect it,' and and she was right." Slight commotion as a page whispers in Mish's ear - she looks through the crowd to see Salma coming around, then, "Sorry, I gotta go take care of something." Hayek treated to the shabbiest, most mortifying walk of shame of her glorious career.
