JUGS OF MASS DESTRUCTION BOUT

Before: Fresh from her impressive besting of Celeste Bonin, Lucy Pinder was eyeing the Lightweight rankings for an opponent where the fight would allow her to stay in the public eye long enough to grab the attention of the directors of the low budget movies that she was trying her hand at. Her first pick was Samantha Hoopes. Despite her 32 years, Lucy was always comparing her profile to the younger generation of glamour models, and the chance to teach the Sports Illustrated starlet a lesson seemed like a good one, especially since Hoopes’ career had suffered recent setbacks at the hands of Kate Upton and Karolina Kurkova. TIG management were looking at the fight from a commercial angle: the fight was bound to be a sellout and would break PPV records on both sides of the Atlantic. A victory for Lucy would also get her onto the radar of Kate Upton.

This fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the Lightweight division. Pinder enters the ring in denim cutoffs and a pink and white brassiere that seems to have shrunk in the washing machine, and laces up some red gloves. Hoopes has also opted for cutoffs but sports a pink bikini halter and blue gloves.

Round 1: Hoopes comes out throwing a lot of punches, but Pinder hurts her with a hard left about halfway into the round! Pinder tries to finish in the corner, but Hoopes holds. Hoopes throws a left hand and a right hook, and Pinder stumbles back before throwing a right hook which marks Hoopes’ left cheek.

Round 2:  Hoopes attacks from the off and looks ready to put a shift in this round. Pinder’s movement is not what it could be as we reach halfway through the round. Pinder with a little right hand as she shoots in, then out before Hoopes can land anything big back. Hoopes eventually gets in an uppercut but Pinder instantly replies with an uppercut inside, and she's starting to get some work done. This is a pretty nice bounce back for Lucy Pinder in this round. Hoopes is struggling to land clean.

Round 3: Hard left from Pinder clips Hoopes. Pinder goes to work again in the corner, but they tie up and the ref resets them. Hoopes leans over and keeps getting hit in the side of the head. Uppercut inside from Pinder. This is not going 12, either way. Pinder is hitting too hard and I’m not sure she'll have the gas to go 12, either.

Round 4: Phone booth fight largely in round four where Pinder gets on top. Referee has warned Hoopes for shoving. Pinder bounces back nicely again.

Round 5: Hoopes moving around a lot more on her toes to start this round, trying to stay out of the trenches. Hoopes picking shots from distance now, including a cross which lands clean. This one's going back and forth on my card.

Round 6: Pinder with a good right, then she crowds Hoopes but runs out of steam. Another right hand from Pinder gets in BUT A MASSIVE LEFT UPPERCUT FROM HOOPES PUTS PINDER ON THE CANVAS, FACE DOWN! She's in a bad way, this might be over. She'll continue, but she's not in good shape. Right hook from Hoopes knocks Pinder into the rope. Pinder drops to her knees and the fight is stopped.

Samantha Hoopes wins with a sixth round knockdown.

After: Hoopes raises her boot and topples Pinder onto all fours. She throws her gloves into the crowd before climbing atop the turnbuckle and feigning deafness by cupping her hand to her ear as the crowd go crazy. The jumbotron zooms on her 34D assets and the roar of the crowd goes up a notch. As Pinder shakily gets to her knees, Hoopes gets down from the turnbuckle and proceeds to facesit her. Pinder resists violently but passes out after 30 seconds. Hoopes, her much anticipated career up and running after a slow start, exits the ring and kisses Pinder’s gobsmacked partner on the way out of the arena.
