BEFORE: Nicola Roberts is another of the Girls Aloud who made the trip to Dublin after her twitter feud with Kaya Scodelario reached the point of no return and led the Lioness Club into challenging the dark haired actress outright. Nicola keeps battling the "hot redhead mess" label and despite blowing past the Faiers sisters in her last two fights, several pundits remain unconvinced of her feisty attitude in the ring and predict a landslide Scodelario victory tonight.

On the other hand rumours persist that Kaya is destined to make the crossover move to America sooner rather than later but apparently knocking the lacklustre Brooke Vincent out last November wasn't quite good enough to sign the contract and another test is required to make sure the brunette can actually deliver the goods. Denise van Outen thinks that Nicola is a vast improvement over Brooke thanks to her Girls Aloud status & Lioness Club connection but the fight is never won on paper and Roberts could certainly use bandmate Kimberley Walsh's victory from just few minutes ago to keep her winning mojo alive.

Nicola Roberts wears a navy blue basque top, black knickers and navy blue gloves. Long red hair pulled back into a tight bun at the back of her head. Kaya Scodelario wears a black basque top, matching knickers and red gloves. Long black hair tied in a loose curly ponytail. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the bantamweight division.

Round 1:
Both girls are fired up for some vicious boxing and tear into each other from the bell; Nicola swings over the top and makes a quick connection with the brunette's face but Kaya responds with an equally comitted body assault and hoovers around the redhead's liver area before clipping her rack and wobbling onto her heels. Nicola blasts a left cross on the nose to prevent more trouble and Kaya has to bend awkwardly to avoid another big punch aimed at her face. Accidental clash of heads leaves Nicola furious as she was looking to lean on the actress and add some extra leather but it's an impressive start for the singer who must gave gained a lot of confidence after pummelling both Sam & Billie Faiers last summer. Many experts have written her off after the Natasha Hamilton disaster but she's very much in the thick of things again and blasts more cross hook into Scodelario's face from close range which dumps the brunette into a defensive circles come the final seconds of the opening round here in Dublin.

Round 2:
Kaya feels she kinda lost that round after hanging back during the Nicola's late rally but jumps into another epic frenzy at the start of the second ripping hooks into the redhead's face and stuffing her up in the center of the ring. Roberts looked to score another solid response on the counter but this time Kaya proves simply too accurate in her execution and buries the stagnant singer under a barrage of leather upstairs which splits the earmuff cover and snaps Nicola's head backwards repeatedly sending her into a hectic escape. Scodelario works the single hand stalking but the surgical precision does the trick and gives Roberts a fat lip come the final minute, that's not the worst part though as she stumbles back to the ropes and even her music video dancing routines don't help her to avoid a ruthless jabbing series up the middle; Kaya has the singer trapped and barges into her rack until the clock expires and forces the ref to seperate the two girls.

Round 3:
Nicola seeks more success on the body but gets clipped on the jaw and wobbles to her heels a bit too easily; when she tries to swing back over the top again, Kaya just beats her for a cross hooking route and blasts on the nose which spins the older girl to the side with a loud yelp. Scodelario throws immediate head hunting leather rush and allthough she's not as effective as before, she still sags the singer on her knees when she nails her on the swollen lips and adds a quick hook to the temple. Nicola caves in another high earmuff and tries to rip into the brunette's body with wide slaps from both sides but they are too predictable to make an impact and Kaya lands another uppercut double on the chin to keep her foe scowling in pain before driving a brutal left hook on the eye that trembles the redhead against the turnbuckle right at the bell.

Round 4:
Roberts tries to bide her time in mid distance and loops single hand assault on the brunette's head that struggles to impress the crowd and whenever Kaya threatens the uptempo switch, the redhead backs out of her stance and circles around the ring looking for a Plan B. Scodelario refuses to chase her down and prefers the methodical approach which gives her a clear edge over the struggling opponent but lacks the "Wow" factor according to Denise van Outen in the booth. The duck & weave tactics allows Nicola to survive the round without suffering more damage - her lips are well swollen now and the shiner under the left eye doesn't look all that promising either - but she's going nowhere with this kind of approach and quite frankly Kaya would be better of just blasting her apart if she wants to sign that US contract anytime soon!

Round 5:
Steady leather rush up the middle stuffs Nicola early in the fifth and the singer is guilty of letting Kaya in on the ribcage to render her hapless in the center of the ring. The brunette settles in the close range afterwards and blasts an uppercut series to shatter the high guard; Nicola aches a bit when she still can protect herself but eventually the younger girl finds her chin and snaps the head back & forth to dump the singer into a tailspin... Roberts tries to deke one more time but gets clobbered on the liver area and wobbles straight into a piercing hook on the nose before Kaya unloads a mammoth right hook on the temple and screams out when she lands in spot on target... AND NICOLA'S HURT.. the singer's arms collapse by the side and she wobbles forward to bump her chin against the brunette's shoulder... Kaya bumps her off and drives a left hook on the jaw THAT SHUTS THE SINGER'S EYES OUT and sends her tumbling face down on the canvas!!! The Aviva Stadium errupts in joy as there's always a demand for a jaw-dropping knockdown and allthough Nicola manages to scamper back on her feet at eight she looks very much shaken by the experience. Kaya simply rips into her face after the command and dissects the guard at will to reel the helpless singer onto the turnbuckle and proceeds to maul her face until the clock expires leaving Nicola crippled and all busted up thereafter.

Round 6:
That was a massive round for the actress and she's truly punched a hole in Nicola's confidence now. Even the arrival of Kimberley Walsh in the redhead's corner doesn't change the outcome of the sixth as Nicola is immediately stacked up in the center of the ring with a hooking connection on the jugs before Kaya blasts a left/right cross on the nose to send the guard to the orbit... Roberts wobbles on her feet and stumbles forward when Scodelario can pounce on her point-blank range one last time... Left hook on the jaw, right hook on the ear AND NICOLA CRIES OUT HER RESISTANCE sliding onto her knees and bending her head against the canvas in the proccess... the count is kinda slow here but it makes no difference as the redhead bursts into spasms and doesn't even make an effort to salvage this fight from ineviteable conclusion. KO6 Kaya Scodelario!!!

AFTER: The winner keeps it strictly business afterwards but nonetherless gives the fallen singer a really long staredown as if to confirm her victory. And it's not a pretty sight for all the Girls Aloud fans; Nicola remains face down on her knees and blubbers in a tearful agony leaving Kimberley Walsh with nothing more than to lift her defeated flesh off the canvas and escort back to the corner. However Kimba notices the steely look Kaya gave them both and makes her way to the actress shouting at her that she simply got lucky tonight. "I don't think so, bytch!", Kaya shoves her back but remains fair play with her gloves still on while the blonde singer has long removed hers after the Abi Phillips punchout. Further altercation is halted when the ref steps between them and tells Kimba to get lost. "It's not over, slut! I'll be back to kick your ass myself!", Walsh accepts it's not the time nor the place to defend the Girls Aloud pride and poor Nicola requires to be consoled as she just can't stop aching her heart out now sitting slumped with her head buried in the hands. Kaya licks her lips and winks to the crowd; , it's gonna be curious to see if she signs for more BBU fights in the future or will she make the switch over to America after all. Even Denise van Outen can't answer that question right now and the veteran BBU TV reporter usually knows all the gossip around the league. Perhaps the new reporting guru Tom Hilton can fill in the blanks?
