Ashley Greene (Odds & Ends Fight Studio) v Clara Morgane (Girls Friday)

28 year old Ashley wants a good start to 2016 as she begins to run out of time in this division, and faces the French singer and former porn actress Clara, who has just celebrated her 35th birthday, and is busy fighting in SSB and BBU.
 
SSB debutante Clara enters the ring first, wearing a lacy black bikini, with red gloves and boots, Ashley joining her a in baby blue outfit with matching gloves and boots.  The girls eye each other, and wait for the bell.
 
Round 1
 
They’re looking pretty cagey early on, neither girl wanting to show too much, but Ashley’s moving easily, snapping out her jab, keeping Clara at bay, with the older girl trying to wind up big punches already, pressing Ashley backwards, and she hurts her with a right hook, Ashley covering, Clara contenting herself with landing bodyshots, the younger girl defending well, and she comes back in the closing stages, rapping Clara to the mouth with a series of jabs, keeping herself in the fight, although the French beauty has stolen the opening round of her SSB career.
 
Round 2
 
Clara’s looking for Ashley with big hit again, but the brunette’s on her toes in this round, aware of the blonde’s power game now, and she’s jabbing the older girl with her left glove again and again, Clara eating leather as she just keeps coming forwards, clearly confident she can put Ashley away, but without putting in the hard rounds first, that’s not easy, and this round is being dominated by Ashley’s crisp and accurate punches, her blue gloves reddening Clara’s face, and the round hasn’t gone well for the French visitor, a little blood trickling from her nostril as the bell closes the round.
 
Round 3
 
Ashley’s just carrying on where she left off, and she stuns Clara early in the round with a swatting right hook to follow her jabs, Clara’s knees quivering a little, and she rocks backwards to the ropes, Ashley jabbing her head backwards – but Clara unloads an uppercut in response, and that has turned the tide somewhat, the brunette backing off as Clara advances, the older girl banging away at Ashley’s body to try to get that proud guard down, but she’s left herself open again, and Ashley gets on top again as the round closes, hitting Clara far too easily for the Girls Friday corner’s liking, their girl not defending herself at all well now.
 
Round 4
 
This time the girls are swapping punches as Clara draws Ashley into a war, the younger girl looking strong, though, and she has Clara drifting backwards, sweeps the blonde sideways with a left hook – but gets clipped with a solid right from the older girl, who turns her and nails her on the ropes, Ashley keeping her guard in nice and tight, but it’s Clara dictating the fight in this round, forcing Ashley to brawl, and she works her into a neutral corner, hits her, hurts her, but takes a couple of digs back, and Ashley for the first time finds Clara’s body with a rasping left hook, the older girl clearly troubled by that, and she takes another to go with it as Ashley claws her way back in this close battle, which stands now at 2 rounds apiece.
 
Round 5
 
Clara’s come off her stool with a sense of urgency, but she’s missed Ashley with a couple of attempts early on, and that’s cost her, because the brunette’s got inside and roughed her up to the ribs, gives her another left hook to the liver, and that’s dropped Clara to the canvas!  Clara’s on all fours, gasping, and almost retching, but struggles up again at 7, her face contorted in pain as Ashley hammers her ribcage. Looking for the fleshier parts of Clara’s body, Ashley throws caution to the wind, with the French girl not looking to do any more than survive in this round, her gloves too low, surely – Ashley unloads, left, right, left, right, and Clara’s on her back on the canvas this time, head lolling – she isn’t coming back this time.
 
Result:  Ashley Greene knocked out Clara Morgane in round 5.
 
That was a disappointment for the French girl, who looks stunned as she sits on her stool postfight.  Maybe she was a little undercooked for this bout, but Ashley isn’t bothered as she struts her stuff, clearly enjoying the victory.
