After all the Rebecca Ferguson talk on the board, it's now time you finally get to know who she is. It would be a shame NOT to properly introduce the star of 'Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation' so here she is FCBA fans: the one, the only, “The Real Rebecca” - Rebecca Louisa Ferguson!!!

Before: 32 y/o, 5'7”, Rebecca L. Ferguson grew up in Stockholm, Sweden, the daughter of a British mother (related to Sarah Ferguson) who moved there when she was 25. Beck's is proud to say she did her own stunts in MI:RN and she underwent vigorous fitness and stunt training (6-weeks of 6 hr-a-day training, including Pilates, fight choreography and stunt practice) to prepare her for it.

She's rumored to have already signed to reprise her 'Rogue Nation' role in MI6 and co-star Tom Cruise is reported to be happy! Rebecca credits her training for MI as sparking her interest in getting into celebrity boxing full time.

VanCamp is 29 y/o, 5'8”, and herself an action movie heroine with Captain America: The Winter Soldier already released and “CA: Civil War” coming out later this year with Scarlett Johansson and Elizabeth Olsen headlining. Already a two-time bantam champ, Emily will hit the quarter pole on the way to her first 100 wins with a victory tonight.

During R1: Both women cautiously feeling one another out in the early going. Ferguson understandably nervous in her first pro fight and VanCamp making sure she doesn't give the new girl any encouragement by taking reckless chances and leaving herself exposed. Emily's experience stands her in good stead in the early going, she's sticking the jab as she moves with the grace you'd expect of a girl with a ballet background. Ferguson likewise has dance training and it shows by the way she's able to easily reset and punch, showing increasing ease and comfort late in the round. First round to EVC, close but comfortably.

R2: Ferguson's confidence building as she comes out looking more comfortable in the second; her left getting to VanCamp's face more often and using the right with more gusto. Rebecca digging the right in under Emily's left elbow, putting a grimace on the Canuck blonde's face for the first time tonight. Emily firing back, not letting Beck's get away with anyth... SHE'S HURT! VanCamp rocked by the left hook, staggering, and DOWN SHE GOES! Big right short-circuits the ex-champ's legs and drops the Canadian Cutie on her derriere! Emily rolling around, getting to all fours and crawling to the ropes, pulling herself upright; swaying unsteadily for a few seconds. FERGUSON IN TO FINISH! Rebecca pounding VanCamp's middle, driving her backward onto the ropes for some body work to the bell. Ferguson's knockdown gives her the round (wide).

R3: Ferguson showing a little rookie excitement, jogs out at the bell throwing punches from all angles early. Furious assault not availing her much as EVC showing good defense by staying in a low crouch behind her gloves and not giving Rebecca much of a look at her torso. Continual head movement and nimble footwork never letting Ferguson have a clean shot at her. Constant aggression and lots of punch stat numbers adding up for RF as she keeps the pressure on, but she's unable to 'close the show' and lets VanCamp off the hook this round. EVC doesn't show much offense while working hard not to be hurt again and Rebecca takes the round (wide).

R4: VanCamp getting untracked this round; going with the jab and cross combo that served her well in the first round. Ferguson having trouble adjusting to the adjustments EVC's camp made between rounds and she's shipping hurt in the first minute. Rebecca forced to fight backing up, not as sharp as she was coming forward the last two rounds! One thing about Emily VanCamp, when she gets a girl on the run, EVC does not take her foot off her throat. Ferguson forced to up her game in the second half of the round to avoid being run out of the ring and she responds. Final minute even-Steven, but VanCamp's fast start enough to win her the nod from the judges as she ekes out the points in what turned out to be a close round.

R5: Just when you thought it was safe.... Rebecca Ferguson ups her game yet again! Becks jumping on EVC from the bell and now she's showing that she can put her foot on a girl's throat too! Rebecca tuning up VanCamp's cleavage early, shifting her focus to her lower body in the middle minute, then headhunting to the bell. All in all, an impressive display that bespeaks a knowledge of female anatomy uncommon in those who make their living by reading scripts, rather than medical text books. Emily back to her stool achy and cranky while Ferguson breezily grinning as she takes a seat across the ring to accept the applause from the fans seated nearby. Ferguson wins the fifth round in a shutout to take a commanding points lead at the halfway mark.

R6: Rebecca out continuing her offense from the prior round in the first minute, digging to VanCamp's body and putting a shimmy in her thighs once or twice. EVC's corner clearly nervous but Emily has things under control in the second minute as, again, subtle, minor adjustments pay off big! VanCamp circling one way, then darting back the other, wrong-footing Ferguson who gets hit as Emily is able to find openings when Ferguson tries to adjust to her. Emily seems to be in control when DOWN GOES FERGUSON! Rebecca caught flush with a right to the side of her face, spilled on her right hip by a punch out of nowhere! Ferguson hurt and hanging on as EVC calmly works her to the body to the bell. Rebecca wandering the ring, needs to be retrieved by her handlers who frantically work on her during the break. Big KD late gives VanCamp the round (wide) to close the rookie's lead.

R7: Ferguson on her feet before the bell, looking fully recovered after that stunning knockdown late. Rebecca slide-stepping to her left behind the jab; VanCamp in stalking mode, right cocked at her cheek. EVC's not jabbing, just using her left to hook, hook, hook, in under Ferguson's cocked right hand protecting her face. BECKS' HURT AGAIN! Another big right hand buckles Ferguson's knees and DOWN SHE GOES! The left hook does the damage this time, sending Rebecca Ferguson sprawling onto her butt, rolling back onto her shoulders, her feet in the air! Rebecca struggles to her feet just beating the count and Emily VanCamp swarms all over her. THAT'S IT!! The ref's seen enough. Rebecca getting rag-dolled at the ropes and the referee steps in to cradle her to safety. That's a TKO7 for veteran Emily VanCamp!

After: VanCamp hurries over to check on Ferguson as soon as her gloves are off and Rebecca is talking. Sporting hugs all round, and some whispered words between the two women! It's a real (and welcome) change from some of the antics seen earlier this month where jugg mugging and smothering seemed to be more important to some fighters than winning.

Later, Ferguson was upbeat, saying she thought she acquitted herself well and “I definitely learned some things from Em. She's a good egg.”

VanCamp magnanimous in victory. “She didn't fight like a rookie, my body can attest to that! She showed moxey and she's got some skills. I expect to see her moving up in the rankings pretty quickly... that's assuming she can get fights. I can't imagine anyone seeing her in with me is going to be eager to try her on. The girl's a handful, that's for sure.”

Still in all, a rather good debut for the new girl. Rebecca Ferguson showed she can be competitive with a two-time former champion at the start off her career. That's not a bad way to start off. Hopefully, she'll stick around for a while so that, pretty soon, everyone will be able to tell the two Rebecca Ferguson's apart!
