TESS VALMORE

CHANDRO/CAMERON Cameron took rounds one and four, while Chandro won rounds two and three. In the fifth, Cameron decked Chandro with a right uppercut. Chandro managed to get to her feet only to be taken out by a Cameron right to the temple. Cameron KO5 New Faces 0-1

BOWEN/RODEN After this demonstration of fighting ability, I would say Foxfire was justified in giving Bowen her walking papers. Roden dominated the fight taking five of the six rounds that it lasted She decked Bowen in the fourth, before finally knocking her out in the sixth. New Faces 1-1

RICCI/ORRANTIA An entertaining bout. The fight was even at the end of four. Ricci forged into the lead by taking round five. The sixth was back and forth with each have her moments, but in the end it was a Orrantia right to the chin that dropped Ricci to the canvas for the count. A disastrous result for Ricci and Orrantia pulls a big upset. New Faces 2-1

WINTER/J. L. COLEMAN JMD. I was down in the bar sipping a Dark And Stormy

KENDRICK/GOMEZ Kendrick, who some think very highly of, entered the bout on a five fight winning streak. Well, that streak is over as Gomez simply demolished Kendrick. Kendrick did win the first round. After that it was all Gomez, who had Kendrick hanging in the ropes at the end of rounds three and four. Kendrick was staggering round at the end of round five. Gomez put Kendrick on the canvas for an eight count early in the sixth and finished her off with a hook to the stomach that ended Kendrick’s night

GREENE/MORGANE It’s the old refrain. Morgane wins rounds one and three while Greene evens things up by taking rounds two and four. It was Morgane’s time to win round five. She didn’t. She didn’t even last the round as Greene floored her with a hook to the liver. Morgane took as seven count and got to her feet. Not smart and Greene unloaded with rights and lefts until Morgane went down for good. Faces 2-2

BOONE/CHOPRA Boone got off to a great start winning the first three rounds and looking like she was going to run away with the bout. Everything changed in the fourth as Chopra started landing and had Boone staggering back to her corner. It got worse for Boone in the fifth. At the end of the round she was bleeding from her nose and hairline. A series of rights and lefts to Boone chin ended the bout in the sixth New Faces 2-3

SILK/GILLIES Silk won the first two rounds. Silk came on to dominate the next three rounds. In the sixth, Silk was beaten to the big punch by Gillies and went down for an eight count. Silk hadn’t recovered at the beginning for round seven. She was caught with a series of hooks that put her down to the canvas for the second and final time.

BUSH/DEUTCH A good hard punching fight, each having their moments as the fight was even at the end of four. Deutch won the fifth and we scored round six as even. In the seventh, Bush landed a series of uppercuts and hooks that was more than Deutch could take and she went down for the count New Faces 2-4

DOBREV/VIKANDER Vikander was looking good through four, but you couldn’t help but feel that it was only a matter of time before Dobrev ended it. In the sixth, Dobrev trapped Vikander in a corner and went in to some serious work. A series of body punches and a final right to the cheek and it was all over with Dobrev standing over Vikander New Faces 2-5

MICHALKA/FLANAGAN Flanagan was surprisingly ahead on the card at the end of four. Michalka turned the fight around in the fifth giving Flanagan a bad beating. In the sixth, Michalka brought the fight to an end with an uppercut that left Flanagan being removed from the ring on a stretcher to an ambulance

VANCAMP/FERGUSON Both had won two rounds at the end of four, however, Ferguson was in the lead due a second round knockdown. Ferguson opened her lead further by taking round five. In the sixth, VanCamp dominated decking Ferguson. Ferguson looked recovered at the beginning of round seven. Looks can be deceiving. It didn’t take VanCamp long to end the bout with a big right hand and a following left hook that left Ferguson on the canvas senseless New Faces 2-6

MUNN/ROBBIE Robbie won the first two rounds, however fell behind by losing round three and getting floored in round four. Munn was still in the lead at the end of six. Robbie had a great round in seven, hurting Munn. Round eight was hotly contested when Robbie landed a right counter that had Munn staggering. A three punch combination from Robbie dropped Munn to the canvas out cold

DANES/BENSON The bout was even at four, then Danes surged into the lead by winning rounds five and six. Benson won round seven although she looked worse for wear. The look wasn’t deceiving as Danes clearly took round eight. She salted the fight away in the ninth by simply wrecking Benson, who was counted out sitting against the ropes

MARIE/M. MILLER One of these fights on tonights card will be termed the fight of the night. This won won’t be it. After a first round draw. Miller won rounds two and three. Marie won round four and then ended the bout with a right to the solar plexus that left Miller face down on the canvas

HENNIG/STEINFELD This was a close back and forth fight that was even at the end of two, four and six. Steinfeld took the lead by having a good seventh. Steinfeld didn’t have a good eighth as Hennig unleashed a brutal beating that ended with Steinfeld face down on the canvas New Faces 2-7

AGDAL/PALVIN Palvin is a new face, but Adgal had only one fight so both can be considered newbies even though Adgal can’t be considered a new face while Palvin can. It was a good rookie fight that was even at the end of six. Palvin handed Adgal a beating in the seventh. Adgal hadn’t recovered at the beginning of eight and was on the receiving end of another brutal beating that left her helpless against the ropes and the fight was stopped. New Faces 3-7

LAWRENCE/A. BANKS On the surface this looked like a mismatch. Well, I can’t say it was a mismatch, but it wasn’t an upset either. Banks gave a fairly good account of herself by holding Lawrence even at the end of four. Lawrence came out to finish in the fifth and bombed Banks, but Banks remained on her feet. Lawrence came out to finish in the sixth and this time she achieved her goal with a blitz that ended with a right to the chin. Banks was counted ou New Faces 3-8

SINCLAIR/MCKINNEY JMDD. Guess where I was

PEREGRYM/DELEVIGNE Another unexpectedly good performance from a newcomer. Unfortunately a good performance isn’t good enough when you are facing someone like Missy. Delevigne had the lead at the end of four due to a third round knockdown. The fifth proved a disaster for Delevigne as Peregrym got on track. It was a good round, both hurt, but in the end It was Peregrym landing the punches the ended the fight. It was a hard right cross that gave Peregrym a KO win New Faces 3-9

STRAHOVSKI/HOWARD Does Howard have a manager? If so he should be shot at dawn. Who would anyone put a 34 year old newbie in the ring with Strahovski. This was a fight that Yvonne had absolutely nothing to gain except maybe getting in some rounds. You knew it was only a matter of time before Howard would be kissing the canvas. Howard a had a slight lead at the end of four. Strahovski got serious in round six working Howard over. The fight came to a conclusion in round six with a right that ended Howard’s hopes of an upset New Faces 3-10

REGAN/R. TAYLOR Taylor hasn’t been around long, but she is moving in fast competition. Too fast. Much too fast. I thought she was way over her head in getting in the ring with Regan. I wasn’t too far wrong, She hurt Regan with an uppercut in the third, however Regan escaped the round. Body work from Regan turned the tide in the fourth. The fifth was all Regan who brought the bout to a conclusion with right uppercross. Regan KO5

HEATHERTON/UTGAARD Two new face welters. It was an enjoyable fight that had Utgaard with a one point lead at the end of five. Round six went to Heatherton with round seven being declared a draw. Utgaard went back in the lead by winning round eight. The fight ended in round nine when Utgaard landed a thunder shot right hand. The referee could have counted to fifty and Heatherton would have still been out New Faces 4-10

RIGHETTI/ATKINSON I thought this was another fight where the result for a foregone conclusion. I know there are upsets however it’s not wise to bet on it. Atkinson came close to the upset when she decked Righetti in the fourth but Righetti survived. Amanda was looking shabby coming our for the fifth however Atkinson failed to finish and that cost her the bout. Righetti turned the bout around in the sixth, floored Atkinson in the seventh and finished her off in the eighth. I must admit it was an exciting bout

UPTON/MCMAHON JMDD Yeah, I am back down there again

KUNIS/HUDGENS For the flyweight title. Needless to say these two are not exactly what you might term “friends” and they put on quite a bout. The bout was even at two and even at four and yes it was even at six. Hudgens came close to a TKO in the sixth, but the referee allowed the fight to continue. Kunis was definitely hurt at the beginning of the seventh. Hudgens took advantage flooring Kunis. Kunis made it to her feet, but the referee stopped the fight due to a cut. A controversial decision as Hudgens becomes the new flyweight champion

YUSTMAN/DECKER All good things come to an end and so Yustman’s title reign is now history. It was a great fight that ended Odette's reign The bout was even at the end of four with Yustman being hurt in the fourth Yustman surged back into the lead by flooring Decker in the fifth and then also taking the sixth. Decker won the seventh and then pounded Yustman to the floor in the eighth to even the bout. Yustman won the ninth giving her a one point lead going into the final round In the final round, Decker decked Yustman and then smartly stayed away and let the time run down to take the round and the championship on the basis of two knockdown to one

I may have missed a New Face but the results were pretty much as expected once again indicating when betting don’t lay your money on a New Face New Faces 4-10
