TESS VALMORE
COSGROVE/LEVY Cosgrove came out charging at the opening bell surprising Levy taking the first round. Cosgrove was ahead on the cards at the end of three. Levy hurt Cosgrove in the fourth and again in the fifth. In the sixth, a Levy right hook put Cosgrove down on the canvas where she was counted out
THIEBAUD/RUAH Thiebaud got off to a good start taking the first two rounds. Ruah got on track in the third. She hurt Thiebaud with a right hand but Thiebaud managed to get out of the round. Thiebaud looked recovered at the beginning of the fourth, however Ruah landed a big right hand on the button and the night was over for Thiebaud, who probably had a bad headache after being carried back to her dressing room
LACHMAN/BENNET Bennet took the first two rounds, however, Lachman came back to take the next two to even the fight at the end of four. The fight was still even at the end of six. Bennet pitched a shutout in the seventh to go back into the lead. In the eighth, a Bennet right hand dropped Lachman to the canvas. She was unable to beat the count giving Bennet a KO8 win
GRIFFITHS/DENNINGS A bout like so many we have seen, Even at two and even at the end of four. In the fifth, Dennings landed a right to the ribs and followed up with a right hook to the chin. Griffiths went down and while she struggled to get to rise, she was still on her back at the end of the ten count
LEWIS/SOBIESKI Sobieski took three of the first four rounds to go ahead by two points at the end of four. Lewis managed to take rounds five and six to even up the bout. In the seventh, Lewis walked into Sobieski right hook and she went down to the canvas. Lewis was still on her knees when the referee counted to ten
EVERHART/KESHA Everhart had the lead at the end of three. That lead evaporated in the fourth as Kesha staggered Everhart with a left hand. The hurt Everhart, however, managed to survive the round. She didn’t survive the fifth however as an another Kesha left put her on her back. She managed to get to her feet, but was trapped against the ropes taking Kesha punches and the referee stopped the fight
