BEFORE: Mandy Capristo returns to action after an upset loss to fellow singer Inna back in November but more questions are raised over Amelle Berrabah who disappeared from public sight after a prestigious defeat to Siobhan Donaghy on the 'Sugababes War' last May. Many BBU pundits and fans believed the Aldershot brunette can become the true boxing leader of the now defunct girlsband - especially that Heidi Range struggled for results over the past couple of years and Mutya Buena seems keen to continue on her American foray - before the Donaghy loss halted all those prospects and send the 32 year old searching for answers. But now she's back and vows to beat the German blonde up and that's always a perfect recipe for a good fight!

Mandy Capristo wears a golden bikini top, white knickers and red gloves. Long blonde hair pulled back behind a small headband. Amelle Berrabah wears a black bikini set and silver gloves. Black hair short. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the flyweight division.

Round 1:
Mandy storms out of her stool and pierces Amelle's guard early on but despite rocking the fellow singer's head, she's unable to push her backwards and eats a counter jabbing over the top that immediately triggers a ruthless facial bash that leaves both girls scowling in discomfort already. No quarter given here as Mandy loops a heavy hook into the eye but gets her temples plastered and wobbles to the side first allowing Berrabah to rip some extra leather on the body and send the blonde into a hectic retreat. Single hand response skims over Amelle's head and has the English girl bouncing off the German's cheeks instead which prevents Capristo from making any progress and she's lucky enough that Berrabah doesn't pound her into the corner in the dying seconds but the round has clearly gotten away from the 25 year old down the stretch.

Round 2:
More pressure from Amelle who bursts through the German earmuff and allthough Mandy sticks her mitts into the brunette's rack, she struggles to embrace the head hunting drill and when Berrabah nails her on the temples with another quick assault, she yields the real estate and decides to bide her time in mid distance circles. But Amelle only barks in anger and still keeps firing away with impressive precision; she nicks in to punish the blonde's cheeks and beats her for a late overhand as Mandy realizes she was getting pummelled a little here but a desperate leap forward only makes her regret the move as Amelle whacks her on the chin and adds another piercing hook on the left eye which sinks Capristo on soft knees on the spot.

Round 3:
Amelle run out of time to add more punishment on the lacklustre German in the previous round but she suddenly eats a left/right combo on the mouth to further dent her chances of a quick victory with Mandy hammering along from both sides and picking the brunette off in the opening minute. Amelle has to seek a clinching respite but the blonde rips into her ribcage regardless and shoves her into the ropes with a burst of strenght and determination. There's little change thereafter with Berrabah unable to shake off the desperate opponent and Capristo halts the English rout well to run away with the final minute too thanks to a repeated striking on the guts that leaves Amelle barking in anger at the bell.

Round 4:
Berrabah keeps going forward but Capristo reverts into some quick footwork to weather the early storm and enforce a lenghty duck & weave show. However Amelle adjusts her targets and slices the high guard even in mid range that drops Mandy on her heels and when she tries to mount a comeback, the former Sugababe rips a left/right combo on the temples and buries a right hand on the solar plexus as well. That strike sinks the German on soft knees with a loud scowl but there's more from the Aldershot brunette who romps more facial assault and cuts the blonde under the left eye before pounding her back to the turnbuckle where she nicks in another ribcage assault and shuts Mandy completely down come the final seconds. Capristo opens up right before the bell but that's a critical mistake and Amelle whacks her on the jaw to whip her against the ropes right at the bell and the Cardiff Arena roars in support with the blonde stumbling back to her corner and holding her chin in visible pain.

Round 5:
Amelle rocks Mandy early in the fifth with a massive leather assault upstairs and the sheer work rate dumps the blonde on her heels amid more painful aches. But Berrabah channels her vicious side to the limit and keeps firing away to destroy the high guard come the minute mark and there's no sign of Mandy going back to some quick escape as she's getting pummelled in the center of the ring and just wobbles back & forth until Amelle nails her on the solar plexus again to slump her perfectly for a brutal uppercut on the jaw... AND DOWN GOES CAPRISTO... that was a beatiful strike and Mandy's chin got simply CRUSHED!!! Amelle leans back over the ropes with a big smile on her face and observes the blonde's desperate efforts to beat the count... Mandy's up at eight but looking very shaken up regardless however the ref allows her to continue even though she's plain spooked out there... But the brunette doesn't care about it and rips more facial shots opening the cut under the left eye again while the German just can't fight back anymore and eats punch after punch after punch that breaks her resilience and leaves her bursting into tears while trapped in the corner... Amelle keeps hammering along and the ref finally shows some mercy AND JUMPS IN TO STOP THE MISMATCH... Mandy crumbles against the ropes but she can't hide those tears whatsoever and it's a ruthless TKO5 Amelle Berrabah!!!

AFTER: That was a perfect finish to a great fight according to Denise van Outen and there's always demand for a girl being punched into a tearful mess in BBU. Moreover this is the way Amelle should be dispatching her rivals on a regular basis and some fans still can't quite understand how she allowed Siobhan Donaghy to beat her up in first place. But that was then and this is now! Amelle looks set to make a lot of noise again and even though Mandy Capristo's dropped into a serious slump lately, she's still a valuable scalp on any flyweight's resume! Amelle wants to add some extra humiliation to the sobbing and completely shattered mentally German but Lioness Club head trainer Mel B. stops her in the tracks and even such a feisty girl like Berrabah doesn't want to risk her chances against a woman several pounds heavier than her: 'There will be more fight to come where I drag those fallen sluts by the hair straight into my bedroom and force them into blowing off all my bodyguards!", she tells the Cardiff audience and Denise van Outen reckons that will indeed be the case. Amelle didn't sign up for the Mr. Marcus Invitational for no reason a couple of years ago and she might well focus her sights on the Frankie's Foxes next based on some early rumours.
