Perrie enjoyed a swift win over Sammy Winward last time out, and should have too much for Alexandra tonight, the 27 year old still regarded as something of a jobber.

Perrie looks superb in a black bikini, gloves and boots, with Alex more demure in her blue vest top, hot pants, and white gloves and boots.

Round 1

Perrie’s off to a good starts, and she’s already pounding Alex’s body, unloading lefts and rights, and Alex isn’t taking the punishment too well, although she finally manages to clinch to stop the flow. The referee parts the girls quickly, and it’s still all Perrie, the blonde working Alex over against the turnbuckle as she pins her in the corner, trying to open the older girl up for an uppercut, but can’t quite find the room, Alex keeping her guard nice and tight, but there’s no doubt that Perrie’s on top after that one-sided round.

Round 2

Alex is more aggressive than she was in the opening round, but that may play into Perrie’s hands as the blonde’s quick punches smack into her face again and again, Perrie hooking her relentlessly now – and it’s too much for Alex, the girl down and dazed, her boxing days looking numbered after a crushing defeat.

Result: Perrie Edwards knocked out Alexandra Burke in round 2.

Perrie was just dominant in that fight, but she needs to put in that sort of effort against better opponents if she is to be taken seriously in BBU.
