BEFORE: Beating Kat Graham at the Asylum shark pool on her debut has proven to be a classic kiss of death for Janel Parrish's career prospects since the petite Pretty Little Punchers brunette hasn't won a fight since - and that stretches back to October 2014 no less! However Shenae Grimes apparently wants to raise that call with her KO6 defeat to the much maligned Samia Ghadie - the English BBU veteran has mouthed off a lot since her crossover move to America but wins have come at a premium and Grimes - for all the private training with former champion Jessica Lowndes down in Florida - suffered one of the most humiliating moments a proud flyweight fighter can ever experience. Forget wrecking Adelaide Kane or even going toe-to-toe with Nina Dobrev - losing to Ghadie is simply inexcusable and the CW heroine knows that all too well.

Redemption fight for both girls then and they're ready to let the sparks fly! Janel Parrish wears a lacy black bikini set and red gloves. Black hair tied in a half-up ponytail. Shenae Grimes wears a silver bikini top, black knickers and yellow gloves. Dark brown hair with blonde flashes in loose waves. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the flyweight division.

Round 1:
Mayhem ensues in the early seconds as Grimes catches Parrish on the nose and makes her bleed even before the PLP brunette had a chance to land her first punch! Mindless bash follows as Janel gets all upset over the cut and rips punches into the Canadian's face - and let's be honest - Shenae never expected such a fine start to this bout nor Parrish's wrath coming at her so quickly. War of attrition makes the crowd roar in support but Grimes just keeps the pressure on while sticking some punches on the wounded nose and that stacks Janel up down the stretch, the girl is clearly afraid to suffer more damage so early in the going and drops her aggressive stance come the final minute for which she pays with more head hunting menace and the 902010 lead heroine cleans her up and traps along the turnbuckle where she's wrestled away by the referee after threatening to turn this fight into a blood bath stalking affair.

Round 2:
No defence to speak of from both these hellcats and the "no love lost" attitude takes a whole new meaning - but what else is that new among the flyweight scrappers? Shenae tries to make Janel bleed again but gets countered to the body and sags low on her knees when the PLP actress rips just too many clean punches on the liver area. The uppercut switch bounces off the jugs briefly but finds the jaw nonetherless and if Samia Ghadie was qualified enough to expose the Canadian, then anyone else must follow suit! Parrish rallies from the second minute to stick more juicy leather on the body and Grimes does look vulnerable when getting buried under leather. She wobbles back to the ropes but escapes the hooking trap if only the plan to bloody Parrish up again goes nowhere as a result.

Round 3:
BIG PUNCH PARRISH!!! And she finds the redemption recipe by blasting Shenae on the nose to whip her on the heels and almost going down on her backside. And she wants more; heavy artillery upstairs dismantles the Canadian guard and sends Grimes ducking for cover but there's no escape from a pure PLP wrath anymore as Janel rips a one-two combo on the temples and sags her foe on jelly knees before adding an uppercut on the jaw THAT SPINS GRIMES BACKWARDS AND MAKES HER SLIDE AGAINST THE ROPES... that was too frickin' easy but the PLP head trainer Danielle Harris is jumping for joy in the corner nonetherless... and Grimes almost spits out all her pride in a brave but sluggish looking battle to stay afloat... she's up at eight but very bruised around the lips and Parrish leaps into immediate follow up bouncing off the younger brunette's face until she shoves her against the turnbuckle to clean out the exposed midriff... Grimes in ALL kinds of trouble at the bell and just looking up for a divine rescue effort.

Round 4:
Janel wants to blast Shenae to pieces now but the red mist mode hampers the precision and makes the Canadian use some real estate to find a much needed respite. The 90210 heroine looks scared alright but Parrish is all about taking her out with a single haymaker rather than methodically enforcing the fear factor. That's one reason Parrish just can't find that breakthrough assurance following her Kat Graham upset and she lets Grimes off the hook, bumping and reeling simply ain't good enough to put the girl used to Jessica Lowndes' punching power away... but the tone is set and Shenae needs to find some BIG punches to raise that PLP call tonight.

Round 5:
Parrish maintains the stalking mode but finds it surprisingly tough to crack the Grimes defence in the opening minute, a slightly less aggressive approach lets the Canadian back in to hammer some leather on the guts but the subsequent clinch results in the PLP brunette scowling in pain as Shenae drops the pure survival attire and rips more shots into the leather area. Wrestling match follows briefly but Grimes hooks up with her opponent's nose and rewinds the first round demons for Parrish & her crew; the PLP lass tries to escape the close range heat but has Danielle Harris urging her to strike back... none of that happens and Shenae punches her back to the corner where she nearly headbutts her as she leans on the front leg very deep but more importantly buries a solid hook on the solar plexus and renders Parrish breathless and sagging for respite in the closing stages. The right hook that catches her on the brow ridge is almost an ineviteable finish to the LCA sparring partner's recovery.

Round 6:
"Excuse me, what are you doing?", coach Harris tries to ignite the wrath back into Janel's mindset but another close range tangle has Grimes exploring the nasal injury and Parrish just can't avoid that scenario anymore as her head gets wrenched backwards amid a painful scream with Shenae going all upstairs in gung-ho fashion... and that breaks the older brunette's resilience almost too easily and drops her into a wobbly butt merry-go-round... cue in the Canadian power that hoofs the high guard aside and enables the 902010 lead heroine to smack unanswered leather in the middle of the ring that slumps Parrish into a brutal uppercut on the jaw half way through the round... AND JANEL GOES DOWN just like that! The ammount of punches landing on the money deprives the Hawaiian cutie from all the early advantage and Grimes teases her to get up to face more punishment... Jessica Lowndes would be proud of that sort of attitude while Janel aches and groans her way into beating the count at seven.. but Shenae's mitts punish her nose immediately afterwards and send her into a desperate earmuff, no place to hide of course and the final minute displays nothing but sheer Canadian wrath that shatters the Hawaiian defence and leaves Janel nursing a bloody nose again! What a disaster for all ye PLP fans!

Round 7:
Parrish in shutdown mode... she gets jumped for a flying combo off the bat and soaks up heavy onslaught upstairs that sends her half-spinning into the ropes, she bounces off them just in time to find Grimes crashing a left/right combo on the mouth and adding a belting hook to the liver... "Say aloha, bytch!!!", Shenae's eyes open really wide as she pulls the plug on her struggling rival by wrenching the solar plexus one more time and sending the girl all timber moments later... Janel collapses on her right side and fails to shake off the battle tear... she succumbs to the Canadian recover in embrional position and coach Harris is ready to personally drag her loser ass from the ring... KO7 Shenae Grimes!!!

AFTER: Redemption time for the Canadian hottie but that was nothing short of a criminal fumble from Janel Parrish!! How did she let that one slip away? Danielle Harris has seen it all by now but that takes something special from her Hawaiian protegee to let Grimes back into the fight she was never going to win after four rounds. She had the girl rattled, spooked and ready to sail off to the sunset... alas that didn't happen and the sight of Janel hugging her punished gut is just too painful to even be true... as if beating the daylights out of Adelaide Kane wasn't enough for the Foxfire/Pretty Little Punchers tag team... Shenae Grimes is making no friends among that bunch and challenges to have some of the biggest names on that roster unleashed into her path really soon! But she still has the guts to actually issue an open request to Kate Winslet and her crew! The Samia Ghadie disaster seems light years away all of the sudden!
