BEFORE: The biggest news ahead of the second round of Hollyoaks Special fights was the signing of Emmy Rigby into the Ginny's Academy stable which immediately raised the profile of the 26 year old blonde who was thought to be lost for serious boxing action after getting axed by the Beever's Babes early last year. Of course Rigby's rise into one of the oldest and most respected teams around the world incurred instant wrath among her British peers and Ali Bastian has a chance to become the first opponent who rains on Rigby's Academy parade.

Both women have lost their opening Hollyoaks Special matches last month, Ali was stopped by Jennifer Metcalfe while Emma succumbed Gemma Bissix's power despite showing plenty of resistance after a two year BBU hiatus.

Ali Bastian wears a red bikini set and white gloves. Medium lenght blonde hair straight. Emma Rigby wears a light blue bikini set and black gloves. Long blonde hair tied in a sleek ponytail. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the bantamweight division.

Round 1:
Emma clearly wants to impress her new entourage - allthough none of the regular Academy trainers has made the trip to London tonight - and she jumps into Ali's path with a jabbing series that immediately puts the older blonde on notice and the spirited drive ends in Bastian's head snapping back & forth to stun the audience. Rigby tears into the Bastian midsection thereafter and keeps digging her mitts until the fellow blonde has to yield the real estate and struggles to even make her shots land on target missing badly over the top and dropping back towards the ropes. Emma blasts a late hook on the liver area to bend Ali to the side and finds her jaw with a ruthless uppercut right on the death to earn a lot of praise from the van Outen-Hilton duo in the booth.

Round 2:
Ali thought that Emma will be a much easier challenge than Jennifer Metcalfe last month but she gets jumped from the bell in the second again and winces in pain when the younger blonde begins to stuff her punches into her face enforcing another desperate cover. Bastian tries to find some success up the middle but only clips the breasts without much power behind her efforts and gets wrenched to the turnbuckle when Emma pummels her temples and rocks her amid more aching struggle. Ali's too slow to handle the lively approach from the former Beevers' journeywoman and Rigby screams out in delight when landing a heavy series on the cheeks late in the round that leaves the FCUK blonde nursing a couple of nasty shiners under each eye at the bell.

Round 3:
FCUK coach Katie Price can't understand what's going on here and neither can the Wembley Arena audience; Emma rips into the older blonde's body early in the third again and renders her into a standstill while pounding along the waist line and sagging the hapless Bastian on her knees. An uppercut switch pierces the jugs and makes Ali scream and when the embattled girl lifts her head again, she finds a heavy left hook blasting her on the brow ridge followed by a quick hook on the mouth... AND BASTIAN GOES TIMBER... crashing down on her side with eyes closed... Emma pumps herself across the chest but gives the fallen rival no time to catch her breath as she scampers back to her corner and simply glares down at Ali's slow recovery. The FCUK blonde is up at eight but looks puzzled upon such a rough treatment however it only gets worse since Rigby smacks her between the gloves and hoofs the jugs rendering the older blonde into another painful stupor. A quick hook blasts the left brow ridge into a swollen shape and at the bell Ali just shakes her head in disgust and looks all lost at sea to the complete shock of the BBU TV crew and most of the London audience.

Round 4:
No way back for Bastian who walks into a flurry of jabs over the top and as her guard collapses by the side, Rigby brutalizes her even further and opens the deep gash under the left eye to batter the hapless opponent hand over the proverbial fist... Destruction time for Emma who swivels Ali's head back & forth before thumping her one last tine on the nose... AND DOWN GOES BASTIAN... the girl was probably out of her senses even before she hit the deck and the ref waves it off on the spot! Brutal KO4 Emma Rigby!!!

AFTER: "Welcome to the Academy, dear!", Denise van Outen is lost for words as the once so mediocre blonde just smoked the allegedly superior opponent into a complete pulp! "This is the same Ali Bastian who wrecked Emily Blunt back in the day? The times have changed a lot since 2011!"

Indeed that's a massive beatdown Ali soaked up tonight and some pundits begin to wonder if she recovers from this one to even beat Claire Cooper later on the Hollyoaks Special schedule? Because as much physical damage Bastian suffered, her mental approach might be affected for a while as well!

But let's go down to our winner who speaks with Georgie Thompson: "Well, I just had to let all the emotions out! Sure, the Academy deal is THE news of the year so far and I knew I had to perform well in my last fight before flying over to America to sign the papers. That's why Kim Basinger wasn't here with me tonight but I suspect she'll be in my corner during the remaining three fights. (...) I couldn't believe my luck when I received the phone call! Ginny has send her girls over to BBU before but she's never signed a regular so I'm gonna be the first and only one who fights out of that legendary gym! Can you imagine Charlize Theron and me sharing the same locker room? Charlize and ME? Who needs Gemma Bissix's betting odds now? And I doubt whether Jennifer Mercalfe has even shaken hands with Yvonne Strahovski too! The future looks sooooo bright for me now!"
