Ashley Greene versus Aly Michalka
(Words: Bazz / Results: Lookout!)

Before: “Yeah she’s good. She’s a champ and she’s got a kick ass record. It’s an exclusive club and every bantam that hasn’t been there wants it. To get into this club you’ve got to beat up some of the members and I definitely want in. So this is a big step, beat a Bazz bantam, something that doesn’t happen often and to do it against the alpha, Aly Michalka. I can see myself busting down those club doors now.” Ashley Greene backhands a compliment Aly Michalka’s way.

“That sounds like a real scene, the likes of me, Olivia Munn, Anna Silk and whoever else in this clubhouse hanging out, sipping Cosmos and chatting it up. The reality of the situation is that if you put us in a room together it would turn into one nasty brawl. Being on top in this league you’re all by yourself and it’s no party. Ashley’s good. I’ll give her that but if there really is some sort of club out there she’s not getting into it tonight.” Aly Michalka concludes with her head held high while she marches off of the podium.

Both girls in bikinis, Ashley’s is bright yellow matching her gloves and shoes and Aly’s is Bazz black matching her gloves and calf boots. Both fighters letting their hair go tangly and loose.

Rd 1 Ashley looking good right off the bat scoring with a slick combination that has Aly in retreat. Greene hits up her opponent with two scores to the head. She follows up with some very strong jabs. Michalka one her bicycle bouncing back looking for a back door to the aggressive start by Ashley. Ashley continues her march through Michalka landing a couple of nice combinations bringing the crowd into the match. Punches thrown are short, powerful, choppy and very effective from the more muscular girl. Meanwhile like a cornered cobra Aly strikes back with a quick two punch combination that nicks Ashley on the chin and slows her down. Yet after a reset Ashley is back at it. She moves in and goes for the gut. Aly dances away with impressive leg work leaving Ashley at a loss to find her again with solid punches for the rest of the round. Fight starts out looking like an incredible display of two boxers loaded with style and athletic ability with Ashley Greene taking control of the first round.

Rd 2 Despite the aggressive start by Greene, Aly isn’t panicking. She’s at center ring looking as smooth as ever. Fluid agility is on display. Aly whisks her way around her opponent taking a piece of her with every jab. Ashley covering up and bobbing like Frazier on fire. She’s getting blocked at every turn now with Michalka’s quickness overcoming her rough punishing style. Aly moves to her right, finds and angle and lands a right hand bomb staggering Greene. Ashley lands against the ropes and barely gets out of the way of a Michalka left hand hook covering up and leaning back on the ropes. Aly relentless with her quick hands slapping Ashley hard and fast to the head and then down in the torso. Ashley enduring as much punishment from Aly this round as the Bazz fighter did in the first round. Crowd thoroughly enjoying watching Michalka waltz around the ring complete with stinging punches. The bell rings with the Bazzgirl easily evening things up on the scorecard.

Rd 3 Ashley makes a show of bouncing on her toes at the beginning of the round not allowing any of the pain from the previous round to show. She continues to muscle her way in on Aly. She stays close to the Bazzgirl not letting her get much separation so that she can handle Greene with her smooth lightening quick punching ability. Greene able to power through some tight punches that back Michalka up causing her to cover up against the ropes. Ashley unleashing some strong punches hoping to get to some flesh that brings pain. Aly stays against the ropes until she sees an opening and then scoots out and backs out to center ring. She faces off with Greene letting loose her jabs while Ashley bobs and weaves her way in close so that she can power punch to the body. Both girls going at it hot and heavy at this point. Aly’s jabs and right hands catching Ashley all over her upper body while Ash is connecting heavy on the inside chopping away with short power punching. The crowd is on its feet wondering when the punch that really hurts lands from either fighter as the bell rings. It’s hard to understand how such an intense round hasn’t damaged either one of them and brought about only a slight advantage to Greene.

Rd 4 The girls start off where they had ended the previous round. Moving about the ring they’re at it right away. Aly lands two quick jabs and Ashley’s head rocks back accordingly. Ashley counters with her own combination to Aly’s midsection sending Michalka dancing away after taking the pain from the punches. Both girls fully engaged now. Aly sending crisp jabs followed by right hands Ashley’s way while Greene stays low pasting Aly’s torso. Aly lunges in with a combination catching Ashley on the noggin only to get a heaping helping of Greene’s fists before she can back away. Once again there’s no regrouping between the two they are just slugging away at each other. The crowd screaming as they watch Ashley Greene’s head knocked back and then Aly Michalka take cringe inducing shots to her belly. Suddenly Aly tips the tide just a bit landing right hand to Ashley’s ear sending her back against the ropes to recover just as the bell rings giving her the round by the narrowest of margins.

Rd 5 Fighters are sweating profusely as they emerge from their corners. The last two rounds have been brutal and neither fighter is looking to back down. Aly looking to score with some serious punching settling into a face to face, body to body throwdown with Ashley. Ashley living large in tight with the leggy Michalka she’s able to muscle her way around the ring as the two fighters get in short combinations to the body. Michalka landing some good shots to the kidneys when Ashley lands an uppercut to Aly’s chin and MICHALKA’S DAZED AND CONFUSED! Aly staggers back as the effects of an Ashley Greene uppercut take hold. Ashley stomps over to the ropes and starts a barrage of punching while the crowd goes bananas. Aly in a complete cover up mode with hands up at her face. Crowd in a complete Donald Trump rallylike frenzy watching Greene work over the Bazzgirl. Suddenly DOWN GOES ALY! Ashley lands a right hand to the head that drops Aly down the ropes. Ref moves in and begins counting. Michalka fully aware takes her time getting up to take advantage of the time to recover. She nods to the ref with a smile as she gets a standing eight and then gets back into the fight. Ashley tries to finish things up but the bell rings sending a slumping Aly Michalka back to her corner.

Rd 6 Ashley in charge out of the box. She tags Aly early with a left hand to the chin and she gets back to work trying to finish her off. Greene muscles Michalka into a corner. She’s in control now as Aly covers up against the ropes. Greene sending in punches and trying to find an opening to put a hurting on Michalka but the pickings are small. Aly is getting through the round blocking the Greene onslaught as well as can be expected. Still this is a dangerous place for Aly to live with a talented boxer working her over and not doing much to create her own offense. Two minutes into the round and the crowd can’t figure out why the Bazzgirl hasn’t taken a seat on the canvas yet. Slowly Aly is getting back into the match. She’s throwing punches in the lulls of Ashley’s barrage. She gets some jabs in on Greene but it’s all Ashley in this round as the crowd can see an insurmountable lead building for her.

Rd 7 Aly looking a little fresher at the outset of the round. Ashley lunges at Aly but catches nothing but air as Aly finds space and dances away. She lunges back with a planted left leg and scores a strong right hand to the head. Ashley staggered. She tries to counter with a move to the inside and a couple of punches to the torso but Aly sidesteps and comes back with another right hand the sends Ashley back to the ropes. It’s Aly’s turn to be in charge. She’s throwing an impressive array of punching to the head and chest. Michalka bouncing back and forth in front of Ashley working furiously on taking control of the fight. Meanwhile Ashley dumbfounded to have been at the brink of a knock out only to be holding on by a thread now. Aly hitting up Ashley all over now putting touches on her face, jugs and belly. Greene swooning as the round ends as an incredible comeback by Aly Michalka.

Rd 8 Both girls running on fumes now. They are scrumming at center ring now leaning into each other working their arms free so that they can take pawing punches at each other. Heads on shoulders with some rock em sock robot maneuvering. Aly getting the better of the exchanges now scoring some good blows to the body. Ashley trying to keep up using her right to land against Aly’s ribs. Michalka tries to pick up the pace and get out of the clinches trying to get the ref to break things up. Finally able to break free Aly moves to her left and creates some space. She looks more fresh than Ashley at this point. Ashley crouching with hands up when Aly comes in quick with a right hand and lands against her lower torso. Crunched over to one side Greene misses the left hand crashing down on her chin and DOWN GOES ASHLEY! Ashley Greene down on the canvas lying on her side for the briefest of moments. She tries to get back up climbing the ropes only to slip halfway up and collapse back down onto the canvas. Ref finishes the count while Ashley looks on helplessly. It’s an Aly Michalka KO in the 8th round!

After: Aly taking questions in her corner when she sees a free Ashley Greene. She skips over and puts an arm around the strong opponent and they exchange a couple of words. “You know I just told her that this was the toughest fight I’ve been in since Munn and before that who knows maybe never. She is one strong girl! I worked with Tracy Spiridakos all week to simulate Ashley and let me tell you they are both bulldogs! Ashley brought today and I think that the club door will be opening for her very soon. As for me let’s wait and see what Pointy and Lis have in store for me!"
