PAULA PATTON VS TYRA BANKS

BEFORE: Tyra Banks' tenure among the welterweight gatekeepers allegedly belongs to the past and the recent numbers aren't pretty at all but the LA-born model believes she still has one big win in her and what better way to prove that than to beat Paula Patton up? The 40 year old actress only started her FCBA career when Banks was already in decline and the Upset of The Year 2012 against Amanda Righetti remains her calling card, after all several welters refuse to even fight the redhead powerhouse let alone go and beat her!
Tyra Banks wears a navy blue bikini with silver trim and silver gloves. Long dark brown hair in loose waves. Paula Patton wears her trademark orange bandeau bikini and black gloves. Black hair tied in a half-up ponytail. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the welterweight division.
Round 1:
Both women settle into a quick close range punching mode and it becomes obvious that they have supreme faith in their core strenght but the precision remains the problem especially for Banks who keeps bouncing off Patton's guard and eats a single hand response over the top instead. She refuses to yield the real estate until Paula switches her targets and harpoons the older woman around the elbows to pierce her liver area with a couple of heavy shots. Patton leans on the front leg thereafter and stuns Banks with more close range punches that clip the rack as well as begin to rattle the high guard. Tyra loops predictable efforts upstairs but fails to put much weight behind them and gets pounded back to the ropes late in the going as Paula unloads more jabbing venom to secure the opening contest.
Round 2:
Tyra finds the precision neccessary to tame Paula's close range attacks and clips her jaw with a nasty cross hooking route before stacking some leather up on the chest to wobble the actress into a breadbasket piercing series on the minute mark. Banks dominates the close range brawl thereafter and makes the actress moan in pain but the clinching efforts are tamed by an uppercut switch on the breasts that force Paula back and send Tyra into a hectic pursuit come the final minute. She fails to land the big punches anymore but the sheer hassling display lets her dictate the pace of the combat and Patton needs to find her footwork again after getting caught on the lips late and bellowing out into a sagging earmuff on the ropes right at the bell.
Round 3:
Patton clobbers Banks up the middle and beats her for a cruel hook on the temple that rocks the model into an awkward position and enables the actress to punch the exposed midsection afterwards. Tyra wants to resume her stance as quickly as possible but struggles to embrace the leather assault and gets pounded back to the turnbuckle where Paula ravages her breadbasket again to bend the model into a ripping uppercut series that dissects the guard and makes Tyra gurgle in discomfort. Patton tries to score that all important haymaker to break her rival's resilience but has to revert into punching the gut as Banks refuses to go away even though she's clearly overwhelmed by the actress and fails to break free sagging on her knees in the dying seconds as Paula turns the heat on. Ref has to drag the rampant actress off her prey at the bell and Tyra's hurting in the gut, hugging her tummy and refusing to look Patton in the eye as she walks slowly to her corner.
Round 4:
Paula ups the tempo of her attacks and beats the model for another overhand drill, snapping Banks' head back & forth in the middle of the ring before cracking a nasty hook on the left ear. Tyra screams out in pain and bends sideways with her eyes closed... she takes a couple of steps back but Patton literally jumps into her with a flying uppercut that slams the model on the nose AND SENDS HER CRASHING DOWN ON HER BACK moments later... and that was a classic welterweight punch that Tyra is unable to shake off in time... she rolls onto all fours at six but aches her heart out and remains woozy while being counted out! KO4 Paula Patton!!!
AFTER: "That was too frickin' easy!", Paula delivers a soccer kick to the model's exposed butt which sends Tyra crashing face down on the canvas and simply unable to respond to the teasing. How good was that punch that send her down anyway? "People tend to forget I've got a brick up in here (shakes her right glove straight into the camera) and it's time I reminded everyone how quickly things can happen in the division!", Paula's smile couldn't get any bigger right now, "Sure, Katrina Law was a tough experience but hey, I still knocked the crap out of Tyra Banks and well, that looks good on anyone's resume!"
Meanwhile Tyra remains spread eagle for a while and only makes a slow recovery to her knees once Paula's already finished with the interviews. That was a terrible performance from the once so fearsome fighter and Snark! Magazine begins to report that Banks is officially the heaviest jobber in the entire league: "The woman can't land a damn punch anymore! How long until she gets whooped into permenant retirement?" That indeed is the all important question as much as the audience loves to see the former Sports Illustrated powerhouse duke it out for the sake of personal pride if nothing else. Tyra's career prospects look downright ugly right now...
Final result: Paula Patton def. Tyra Banks KO4.
