BANTAMWEIGHT TITLE ELIMINATOR

(Lioness Club vs Girls Friday)

BEFORE: Preparation for the bantamweight title eliminator couldn't have been any different for the two women involved. Former champion Clara Morgane impressively stopped ex-title contender Leah Dizon in eight rounds while Dorota Rabczewska beat the stuffing out of Morgane's stablemate Elizabeth Tan in less than three minutes of one-sided action. However that doesn't mean the Polish singer should be considered a favorite since the Tan fight was labelled as the biggest mismatch in recent BBU history while Morgane made her FCBA debut just five days after the Dizon victory and suffered a tough loss to Ashley Greene. On the other hand Rabczewska has lost only once in seven attempts to none other than current champion Una Healy yet there's no guarantee the rematch will actually happen in the title clash outright due to Reon Kadena's own revenge plans in the last fight of the International Jewels PPV to come.

Doda is no stranger to teasing her opponents into a battle of words before the actual fight and she's mocked Clara's previous career as adult video star but the French veteran showed a lot of poise to avoid things getting out of hand and saved her best until it really matters which of course is tonight. BBU TV's special co-commentator Tom Hilton put his money on Morgane to silence the naughty Polish singer but Denise van Outen prefers the two singers to battle it out for the divisional title so her picks are indeed Rabczewska and Healy to win the remaining two bouts here in Tokyo Dome City Hall.

Dorota Rabczewska wears a red bikini top, white knickers and red gloves. Long blonde hair tied in a sleek ponytail. Clara Morgane wears a pink basque top, black knickers and white gloves. Dark blonde hair tied in a small bun at the back of her head. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the bantamweight division.

Round 1:
No teasing from the opening bell, just a straight-forward charge from both girls who look to secure the ultimate prize tonight and Clara sticks her mitts right into Doda's jugs catching the singer by surprise and pummelling along to make the younger blonde wince in pain already. Heavy French hitting dominates the opening minute and forces the Pole back but Doda still wants to tame the onslaught the hard way and leaps forward trying to somehow slam her jabs into Morgane's face but she gets caught on the repsonse instead and bends to the side after Clara finds an uppercut on the chin and begins to stack her up in the corner. Dorota weathers the late charge with some blatant clinching but the French girl still spikes her on the ribcage to underline her dominance.

Round 2:
More aerial fury from Clara who beats the singer for the initial overhand and rocks her on the heels on the spot before bumping into the jugs again to make Rabczewska yelp in pain. A series of uppercuts shatters the guard as well and sends the singer into a hectic retreat which proves to be the correct choice to prevent more physical damage. Doda's clearly the faster of the two women but struggles to land anything on offense in mid distance and become too wary of the French assault, she concedes the round through stubborn retreat but Morgane doesn't look bothered by this at all and blows the upset Pole a kiss as the round concludes.

Round 3:
Dorota somehow keeps her focus and avoids losing her temper which could have been disastrous for her victory chances tonight but she tries to stay in the mid distance exchange early in the third and keeps it nice and clean whereas Clara shows more urgency to build as huge early lead as possible. Denise van Outen and Tom Hilton don't rule out this fight going the distance but the singer looks to be more keen on securing the knockout as she refuses to produce much success on offense and seemingly lets her opponent impress the judges even further with a superior number of punches thrown and landed. Too much at stake for each of them and the physical damage remains minimal but Clara adds another round to her record albeit in less than spectacular fashion.

Round 4:
Finally some proper fireworks early in the fourth, Clara leaps into a jabbing frenzy and catches the singer on the nose before adding a vicious hook on the temple that Doda fails to shake off for a while therefore triggering more French assault in a hurry. Clara pounds some Polish flesh and hands her foe a nasty gash under the left eye, hectic retreat from Rabczewska sends her butt-in-ropes and Morgane breaths destruction in her face with more powerful hooks reducing the singer into a classic punching dummy however Doda - amid all her scowls and barks - manages to swing back straight at the older girl's nose and come the final minute both women just lash out at each other in furious fashion and that's as suicidal as it gets - but it's not welterweight so in fact they both look worn out at the bell but Dorota needs to look into the mirror with more attention because she came up worst of the two and sports not one but two deep cuts under her left eye now.

Round 5:
One can say it's four on the spin for Clara now but the French beauty looks a bit worn out by her efforts already and Denise van Outen indicates the Ashley Greene test could come back to bite her if she doesn't finish the Polish singer off before too long. And Rabczewska channels her feisty approach regardless of the fact she's fallen on the cards so much already and whips the former AV star with another stalking drive that even catches Clara by surprise. Just not a single second of respite here from the bruised Pole who outworks her rival in close range and connects with the chin often enough to back Morgane into the ropes come the final minute and the Girls Friday blonde must apply a clinch to weather the Polish storm - conceding the round in the proccess though.

Round 6:
Morgane tries to punish the aggressive Pole but lacks the distance and begins to only graze the forearms whereas Dorota's quick leap enables her to bounce into the French rack and then add a riffle hook on the temple that makes Clara wince on the spot. After a brief battle of strenght Doda bumps the older blonde off and beats her for a cracking hook on the nose and suddenly the punches begin to stack up on Morgane's face in a hurry and bend her in a frantic effort to avoid more damage... Doda finds the hole around the liver area and also lands a knee to the gut sending Clara onto the turnbuckle... ref didn't see that blow and as the French blonde tries to plead her case, she gets wrenched across the lips and soaks up a nasty hook on the left eye which sinks her on the spot with a loud yelp... she's lucky enough the clock expired just as the singer nailed her with that last punch!

Round 7:
Some early jabbing exchange makes Rabczewska bleed from the cut under her left eye again but Clara becomes too focused on the wound and allows the Pole to stagger her in the middle of the ring with a vicious harpoon to the liver... another try catches gthe elbow and Morgane's fast to secure the clinch but the battle of strenght sends her wobbling towards the corner moments later and Doda just jumps at her in muay thai style hoovering around with another knee to the gut... that calls the ref into action and we have an official warning for the Polish firecracker... Clara looks stunned by these antics - Denise and Tom in the booth likewise - but the Tokyo crowd demands more of it for whatever reason... however the warning makes Doda think better of it and she backs off for remainder of the round while Clara still believes she has the cards safe under every condition here.

Round 8:
Clara fancies the mid range peek-a-boo exchange but she can't keep the Pole away from her for too long as Dorota has nothing to lose here and just rips with all her might at the French beauty... and Morgane tires to smoke her with a lone haymaker but wrenches her wirst against the singer's elbow and bends to the side as Rabczewska nails her on the nose from close range and adds a quick uppercut on the jaw... Clara looks to maintain her balance but gets bumped off to her heels and Doda beats her for a cross hook on the nose before adding one more on the eye that sags the actress on the turnbuckle... cue in some Polish wrath and Doda suddenly traps the ex-champion with a massive leather barrage that leaves plenty of bruises around the eyes and renders her vulnerable to further damage... AND DOROTA CRACKS A MONSTER HOOK on the jaw which shuts Clara's eyes and wobbles her to a classic uppercut follow up... Ugh!!! That nails the French girl cold AND DUMPS HER ON HER KNEES in the corner just as the clock expires... Doda barges herself across the chest but struts back to her corner full of confidence whereas Morgane's perfectly executed plan is on the verge of a complete failure all of the sudden... since the clock expired before the ref could start the count, she's saved from that indignity but Denise van Outen hasn't seen Clara so hollow during a fight since she joined the Girls Friday.

Round 9:
We have one VERY tired French blonde here in Tokyo and Tom Hilton blames it all on the Ashley Greene experience over in America... Clara needs more time to recover but gets none as Rabczewska rips into her face with a massive jabbing flurry and hoofs her guard aside on the spot before cracking more hook on the bruised face... Morgane goes all shimmy shake and fails to keep her gloves high enough to prevent the looming disaster... and the Polish blonde just doesn't let her off the hook and keeps hammering away for the full minute until she traps her in the corner and rocks the head back & forth... back & forth... and back... Morgane's battered in stupor and offers nothing back anymore... when her eyes bawl out and the knees buckle the REF DECIDES TO STEP IN and save the former AV starlet from a heavy knockout... he craddles her away to safety and Doda screams out in utmost relief... she will get her chance at the bantam straps against all odds! TKO9 Dorota Rabczewska in come-from-behind fashion!!!

AFTER: Doda loses her temper and bunny hops around the battered French girl who turns her back to the center of the ring and leans over the ropes pondering the fumbled opportunity to return to the title fight over three years after she lost it to fellow compatriot Elodie Frege. She turned 35 just last month and this might have been her final call... she tries to ignore the obnoxious Polish singer but the lack of response indicates she must be DEVASTATED inside... of course that's the last word you can describe Rabczewska with tonight... she realizes Clara's a mental wreck right now and bumps her off with a half-hearted strike on the shoulder before climbing the ropes and soaking up the Tokyo Dome support... attractive blondes are always in demand in the Far East and Doda is never shy of milking all the attention she can get... and she will receive a lot of it following her eliminator success...

Let's take it down to the winner and official #1 ranked bantamweight title challenger: "The Una Healy rematch is ON!!! I hope she wrecks that Japanese bimbo and we settle it the old fashioned singer way... I love Ireland, the Republic that is... and Una's a hot chick all around but she's not in my league... I'm gonna make her cry and take the title back home to Warsaw where it belongs... Ola Jordan couldn't do it and Monika Pietrasinska is probably too busy clubbing around the old place right now so I feel there's national pride resting on my shoulders! Don't get me wrong, I'm really THAT good and it's time to beat the champ - yup, I'm talking about Una hopefully - and become the latest entry to the BBU Hall of Fame!!! (...) There is no BBU Hall Of Fame? Who cares? I'm a living legend in the making anyway!"

Final result: Dorota Rabczewska def. Clara Morgane TKO9.
