BEFORE: Neither of these two models were invited to take part in the Welterweight Title Tournament but just 24 hours before the scheduled kick-off of that event, Manuela Arcuri and Sarah Brandner are ready to blast each other to pieces and provide the much needed fireworks in the 130+ lbs category. Both have fought earlier this year but while Arcuri was knocked out by Peta Todd - which might have cost her a place in the title tournament at the expense of the English brunette - Sarah Brandner simply wrecked Charlotte Jackson and announced her plans to join the Black Eagles Boxing in the foreseeable future.

The fight is held in the Allianz Arena in Munich with Black Eagles owner/trainer Gina Wild and lightweight Ann-Kathrin Brommel present in the audience. The German BBU stable lacks a welterweight entry so Brandner seems like a natutral fit with the Cologne-based team but delivering the results is the most important factor that will decide the blonde's fate. Yasmin Verheijen completed a successful trial with the Lioness Club earlier this year but Gina Wild remains tight-lipped whether she will sign Sarah into her stable in case of a positive result tonight.

Manuela Arcuri wears a black bikini set with white trim and red gloves. Dark brown hair tied in a sleek ponytail. Sarah Brandner wears a a navy blue basque top with golden trim, white knickers and golden gloves. Long blonde hair tied in a sleek ponytail. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the welterweight division.

Round 1:
Manuela swings over the top but bounces off the high guard and gets countered to the body instead as Sarah leans on the front (left) leg and sends a leather assault that immediately makes the Italian cover up in the center of the ring. Sarah shows exceptional punching power against Jackson but Arcuri is a superior opponent and the former lightweight champion weathers the storm before cracking a left hook on the blonde's chin which results in the tempo of the fight slowing down. Brandner prefers to circle back after taking that punch but the Italian refuses to chase her down and keeps swinging single hand efforts that hardly bother the German prospect for remainder of the round.

Round 2:
Sarah tries to ignite more pace into her approach and Manuela isn't well known for her agile skills however she withstands the early German jabbing and loops a couple of hooks on the temples to keep the blonde honest. Losing to Peta Todd was a shocking upset for Arcuri and her entourage and it's obvious she prepared for the Brandner fight much better; she keeps fending off the blonde's repeated jabbing efforts and seeks success in counterpunching drill which leaves the younger model a bit hesitant in her approach come the final minute. No real breakthrough in this round either and even Gina Wild looks a little bemused by the lack of production from her compatriot.

Round 3:
Sarah looks a bit overwhelmed by fighting in front of her home crowd and sometimes that blocks a girl off mentally but Gina Wild is convinced that the Munich-born model only needs one good punch to open the floodgates. Arcuri keeps brawling in close range and spikes the German's midriff to enforce a clinch and this is a much tougher affair for Brandner compared to the Jackson whitewash last month. Manuela finds a lot of comfort pounding the taller girl to the body and refuses to back off even when Sarah pierces her liver area and wants to shove her into the ropes. A fine display of sheer Italian strenght leaves Brandner scowling in anger at the bell but she just can't stamp her authority on this fight at all.

Round 4:
Brandner drops her guard too low to start the fourth and eats a crunching uppercut on the jaw that wobbles her to the side but Arcuri misfires with the follow up and skims off the top of her shoulder before eating a series on the rack as the German yells out in frustration and just leaps into her opponent taking a lot of risk in the proccess. However Manuela is too slow to land any punch into open target and gets rocked by a left/right combo on the temples and trips back to the cornerpost where Brandner buries her with a hectic body assault to increase the level of support among the Allianz Arena crowd. Manuela bellows out into a tight earmuff but leaves plenty of room downstairs and Brandner simply pounds her stomach into a visible bruised patch and leaves the older model gasping for air at the bell.

Round 5:
Manuela looks to restore parity after that difficult round but her aggressive approach meets a stubborn resistance and Sarah is just that little quicker of the two so she outworks the brunette in close range and begins to pick her off in mid distance come the second minute. She splits Arcuri's mitts all too often for the Italian's comfort and strands her in the center of the ring before a nifty switch on the body catches the brunette out and sags her on jelly knees. Manuela tries to clinch the German but eats a left hook on the jaw and wobbles into more earmuff misery as Brandner pummels her back to the ropes thereafter and runs away with the contest thanks to a brutal jabbing series on the guts that slumps Arcuri into a yelping hot mess at the bell for the second round in a row.

Round 6:
Sarah dwarfs the brunette's movements across the boards and riffles immediate punishment over the top that nails Manuela on both cheeks and leaves her stranded on her heels one more time... the ammount of punches begins to stack up on her face and the earmuff cover leaks plenty of quick and vicious shots from the German who leans on the front leg and simply drives her punches up the middle to expose the older model badly. Arcuri can't shake off the Brandner heat and when she opens up to swing a desperate hooking response she gets nailed on the chin with a right-handed club that slumps her chin and drops the guard for good... Sarah whacks her on the temple with a left hook follow up AND SENDS ARCURI CRASHING DOWN ON HER SIDE moments later... Gina Wild finally nods back in approval and the Allianz Arena couldn't wait for such a pleasant sight any longer... Sarah looks angry with herself rather than relieved that she finally broke the brunette's resilience however Manuela refuses to check out of Munich just yet... she's up at seven and allthough remains slumped on shaky knees she wants this fight to continue... Sarah nods back to the ref and secures another crack at the aching Italian... Manuela makes a couple of steps forward but her effort to beat the blonde for a right-on-right tangle ends in disaster as Brandner nails her on the nose AND SENDS HER CRASHING DOWN ON HER BACK in a blink of an eye! And that's all she wrote, folks! KO6 Sarah Brandner!!!

AFTER: Gina Wild leads the Allianz-Arena applause but indicates that Sarah would still have to beat Abbey Crouch if she wants to secure that Black Eagles Boxing contract! Indeed, the Munich-born model took a while to get going tonight and while she delivered a very impressive knockout to take down a dangerous floater, she struggled to make the impact early and was put under significant pressure by the Italian veteran at times. Of course Manuela Arcuri was a vast upgrade over Charlotte Jackson but still remains nowhere near the top prospects of the 130 lbs division and Brandner won't gain a lot of respect by blowing out genuine journeywomen opponents! Not when she targets a run to the welterweight title within the next 24 months as she announces to the Munich crowd in her post-fight victory speech!
