BEFORE: Sabrina Washington remains the living legend of BBU welterweight division but at the age of 37 her chances of a glorious comeback atop the 130+ lbs catergory don't look so promising anymore especially that her first round opponent is fellow Beever Babe Jourdan Dunn who knows all about the former champion's revival attempts. Jourdan was touted as Sabrina's heir apparent and enters the fight in much better mental shape since the pressure to perform is on Washington who might not have too many bouts left in her given the rise of the young vixens ready to send the old champ into retirement before too long.

Sabrina Washington wears a pink sports bra with black trim, denim microskirt and pink gloves. Black hair tied in a high ponytail. Jourdan Dunn wears a golden basque top with white trim, black knickers and golden gloves. Black hair in loose waves. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the welterweight division.

Round 1:
Sabrina is a classic power-hitter but her efforts to take Jourdan down early in the opening round are too predictable and the model shows superior movement across the canvas to avoid the aerial attack. Dunn has displayed plenty of core strenght herself in the past but against the former champ she can also put some flexibility heroics - otherwise very rarely seen in this division. The initial pounce brings little joy for Sabrina so she backs off and tries to lure the youngster into a trap - however the burst of speed becomes too much even for such a legendary fighter and Dunn stacks her up with a flurry of jabs and ducks underneath a wide hooking loop before tearing into the older woman's midsection in the dying seconds of the round.

Round 2:
More head hunting from Washington who keeps swinging around Jourdan's temples but is always a fraction too late and allows the model to score single hand response upstairs instead. Both women settle in mid range but the age difference begins to tell very quickly and even though Denise Lewis looked more animated over Sabrina's actions, she applauds Jourdan's crippling shots to the jugs that force Sabrina to seek cover in a clinching respite. Jourdan refuses to bump her off straight away but spikes the liver area and turns the ex-champ right into the corner where Denise Lewis suddenly looks very uncomfortable and leaves her spot to let both her protegees duke it out themselves.

Round 3:
Sabrina zips past Jourdan's shoulder and eats a clubbing hook on the navel to open the third round and suddenly the model hammers in more shots to the ribcage rendering the veteran vulnerable to a pouncing series on the jugs. Washington gasps for some extra air when Dunn dominates the close range rangle but gets wobbled to the ropes when the model pinches her with an uppercut switch on the jaw. Sabrina looks all of her 37 years now as she fails to escape the danger on the ropes and disappears behind a high earmuff allowing Dunn to clean out more toned ab muscles and Kate Abdo can't quite believe how easy Jourdan puts her more experienced competitor under pressure. Sabrina looks very annoyed at the bell but Denise Lewis refuses to join her in the corner and the Wembley Arena is truly silenced after three rounds that the London-born singer has given up to the youngster.

Round 4:
Washington tries to stick her foot in the door but another close range tangle ends with Dunn ripping uppercuts to the rack and clipping the chin in the proccess. The sheer production of the model overwhelms the singer who looks for a single punch turnaround to this fight - a highly risky tactics against an opponent 12 years her junior! And Jourdan keeps plugging her mitts into Sabrina's body to stagger her in the center of the ring; the aerial attack goes awry one more time and when Dunn cross hooks the singer on the mouth, those former champion legs buckle and allows Jourdan to pole in more leather on the jugs. Sabrina slides into a clinch but gets backed into the corner regardless which enables Dunn to inflict more pain on the ribcage - someone's taking Washington to school tonight and well, some of the fans can't even look at Jourdan trying to chop her older gym mate in half. The bell couldn't have come any sooner for the embattled Londoner!

Round 5:
Jourdan ups the tempo of her attacks and puts Sabrina into defensive circles from the get-go. However the veteran singer never felt comfortable in such a stance so it's no wonder she almost trips over her own feet on the minute mark and stumbles butt-in-ropes just as Dunn flies in with a clubbing left hook on the ear that renders Washington chasing her balance... a huge right jab PIERCES the solar plexus moments later and Sabrina spits out her mouthguard trying to enforce a break... not gonna happen! Jourdan belts her on the liver area and adds an uppercut on the jugs that makes the veteran close her eyes and gurgle in disarray... but the ref finally picks up the mouthpiece and hands the former champion a brief respite... Jourdan gets a little annoyed over the delay but romps into Washington's body after the command; she pins her in the corner with a flurry of leather aimed at the body and poor Sabrina's all shut down and just taking a beating here in front of her home crowd! What a nightmare for the once most feared welterweight boxer in the country!

Round 6:
Sabrina begins to realize the dream of her becoming the champion again will take a lethal hit at the very first hurdle... she looks absent mentally when Dunn dissects her guard seconds into the sixth and pours in with a facial assault that whips Washington into the corner in a hurry... the champ ducks and weaves on her feet but can't escape the youngster's heat and offers nothing back just trying to stay upright... but Jourdan hunts down her prey just past the minute mark... she romps a right hook to the side of Sabrina's boobs and adds a belter on the liver area to make the singer bellow out onto the ropes with arms collapsed by the side... a brutal right uppercut follows and ends Washington's title aspirations in the most cruel way possible... DOWN GOES THE EX-CHAMP in the corner and she bangs her head against the bottom rope to complete the miserable demise... she remains flat on her back with her hands sticking out but when the count reaches eight, they simply collapse to cover the breasts however it's a massive generation-switching moment for the whole of BBU! KO6 Jourdan Dunn!!!

AFTER: Sabrina Washington was the founding member of BBU's glamour pecking order five years ago along with fellow Beevers Samia Ghadie, Alesha Dixon and Lisa Maffia but the rise of the hungry vixens has hurt her the most over the last couple of seasons. Kate Abdo says Sabrina was the victim of her own success as she basically owned the 130 lbs division until Erika Heynatz came over from Australia. Despite being 37, she would be suited for one-off gatekeeping bouts in the next few years but when someone has achieved so much in the past, is it really worth the effort anymore? That's the question for Sabrina and Denise Lewis as Charlie Webster can't get any official statement from the Beevers entourage if this was indeed Washington's last stand in BBU.

Meanwhile sky is the limit for Jourdan Dunn who only avoids celebrating this victory in public thanks to a great deal of respect she has for her Beevers' gym mate. Gemma Atkinson openly picked Dunn to become the new welterweight champion while plenty of pundits seem to fancy Joan Smalls' chances too and the way the tournament bracket is fixed, we can well and truly see those two models battling it out in the final come late May. However up next in the quarters Jourdan will face off against the winner of the last fight on tonight's card between Catherine Tyldesley and Danielle Miller.
