BEFORE: Allthough Jenna-Louise Coleman hand-picked Mollie King as her next title challenger both Jade Ewen and Jessica Jane Stafford (nee Clement) believe that a victory in tonight's fight will earn them a shot at the divisional straps at the next stop. Jade was a little busy with Frankie Cocozza over the past few months - despite being member of the Beever Babes and not Frankie's Foxes - but she's still very highly rated by all the BBU TV pundits who think the former Sugababe should have ascended to the title picture already but for a painful defeat to the otherwise elite Ola Jordan last March.

Meanwhile Jessica is judged as the best of the PageThrees flyweights - now that Melissa Debling is off to This Is Glamour team - and has targeted none other than Maria Ozawa if she beats Jade up tonight. Allthough Denise van Outen suspects the Clement/Ozawa bout will happen regardless of the Ewen result since only the flyweight title shot outright would make Jessica ditch the Japanese route in the upcoming weeks.

Jade Ewen wears a black bikini set with pink trim and white gloves. Curly black hair tied in a half-up ponytail. Jessica Jane Clement wears a crimson red bikini set and black gloves. Long black hair with dyed blonde curls tied in a loose ponytail. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the flyweight division.

Round 1:
Both girls set out to destroy each other and Jessica jumps into a head hunting pursuit that quickly makes Jade realize she's not fighting a mere pushover especially when the model smacks her on both cheeks and snaps her head back on the spot. More punches slice through the singers guard and Jade begins to back off from the close range duell down the stretch which only fuels Clement's determination to land more clean punches over the top. However Jade's dancing background from countless music video sets enables her to avoid a heavy leather artillery in the final minute and she also manages to split the older girl's mitts with a last-ditch jabbing from the back foot.

Round 2:
Clement enforces the close range stand-off and keeps firing away over the top which gives Ewen plenty of trouble and when the model whacks her across the mouth, she's forced into a hectic clinch just to weather the onslaught. Jessica shows superior strenght and bumps the singer off to her heels but misses the put away hook on the chin and gets blasted with a right hook on the nose herself which wobbles her forward and finally allows Jade to spike some heavy uppercuts into the model's jugs. Jessica scowls in pain briefly and struggles to find her balance; Ewen rips into her breadbasket for a good measure and pounds the otherwise aggressive opponent to the turnbuckle where she makes coach Denise Lewis proud in tearing the model's midsection apart with some ruthless jabbing. Jade doesn't let up even after the bell and has to be dragged away by the ref and she earns herself a massive death stare from a visibly upset model.

Round 3:
Jessica seeks immediate revenge after that woeful finish to the previous round and resumes picking Jade off in close range. Her attacks are little too one dimensional though and the supreme footwork allows the singer to break free from the aerial attack and spike the Page Three brunette to the body. Jessica yelps in pain but keeps head hunting the fast moving opponent to the point she realizes that she can't quite punish the younger girl anymore and tries to chase her down to the corner... Ewen responds with a leaping right hook from the back foot and catches the model on the lips before adding a belting shot to the liver that removes Clement from close range and dumps her onto the ropes with a loud shriek. Before she can adjust her stance there's Jade crashing some ruthless shots up the middle as she pounds away at the jugs and keeps Jessica sagging on the ropes for remainder of the round which leaves Beevers' coach Denise Lewis into a standing ovation no less!

Round 4:
Clement begins to lose her temper and wants to blow the singer apart as quickly as possible but her lack of precision only allows Ewen to weather the jabbing storm before a counterpunching ordeal leaves Jessica nursing a fat lip come the minute mark. Jade's too fast for the model and easily avoids the allegedly stronger opponent whereas Denise van Outen thinks the obnoxious attitude finally makes Clement pay in full. Allthough she has the slightly bigger punch, she can't steer her into Ewen's face anymore as the singer dinks her away around the repeated attacks, settling for a painfully accurate response instead. Even Clement realizes her short-comings in the final minute backing off from the close range and Jade's satisfied enough with her performance she refuses to apply more pressure on the retreating opponent.

Round 5:
Jessica tries to calm herself down during the interval but when she spots Jade's cheeky smile, she just can't hold back anymore and storms into another reckless pursuit of the singer. Jade has all that covered and ducks the initial onslaught through very solid high guard and loops the response over the top to squash the older brunette's lips into more swelling. Clement moans in discomfort but keeps plugging into the singer from point-blank range; she manages to clip the rack briefly but when Ewen stacks her up to the body and bumps her off on the heels, she can't find her targets anymore and gets outworked in the center of the ring. This leads into Jade landing more crisp strikes to the body and bending the aching model forward... another quick bump off wobbles Jessica to the ropes and when she tries to swing back at the singer, she gets caught by a brutal right hook on the eye and half-spins against the turnbuckle right at the bell. Jade shakes her glove in delight and coach Denise Lewis urges her to finish the job off within the next couple of rounds tops.

Round 6:
Clement's fiery attitude begins to dwindle and the Page 3 model seeks some respite in mid distance once that last hook from the sixth round resulted in her left eye developing a nasty swelling during the interval. However Jade wants to add more punishment as quickly as possible and switches her counterpunching tactics into a frontal attack which dwarfs Clement's survival hopes on the spot. She splits the model's mitts in close range after tracking her down to the ropes and rattles her temples from both sides sagging the girl on soft knees much quicker than even Denise van Outen expected. Suddenly Jade unloads all her title ambitions and almost lifts Jessica off her feet when connecting with her jaw... a flurry of uppercuts switches on the rack and dumps the model sideways into the turnbuckle however Clement's punching resistance is well above average so she withstands the pressure upright but has to cover up behind a tight earmuff and allows Ewen to clean out her breadbasket in another change of targets in the closing seconds of a one-sided round. Jessica's tough but THAT tough according to BBU TV crew and she spits out her mouthguard at the bell looking utterly spend. Meanwhile Jade nods back to coach Lewis and knows she's on the verge of breaking the Page 3 model down for good.

Round 7:
Ewen riffles a jabbing galore into the model's face and dismantles her guard in close range seconds into the seventh before adding a belting hook on the exposed liver that bends Jessica into a screaming disarray... she takes a couple of steps back but soaks up an uppercut double on the boobs and gets whacked across the swollen left eye one time too many moments later... AND DOWN SHE GOES... Clement hits the boards flat on her back finally succumbing to the singer's repeated onslaught... Jade screams out in delight and glares down at the fallen model for a while before running back to the neutral corner... Jessica tries to beat the count but when she sits up at six, she realizes her left eye in almost completely swollen as that last punch from Ewen burst the swollen spot into extra large size... she shakes her head and drops her chin between her shoulders allowing the ref to count her out and remove her from the title contention in the foreseeable future. KO7 Jade Ewen!!!

AFTER: That was a masterclass performance from the former Sugababes singer who looks ready to enter the title picture against whoever emerges from the Jenna Coleman/Mollie King clash standing. The loss to Ola Jordan doesn't seem to affect Jade's confidence - nor her ranking - anymore and it's about time the Beevers booked themselves another title opportunity outright - without having to wait for Jourdan Dunn's much anticipated rise to the welterweight throne before the summer. Just make sure she stays out of Frankie Cocozza's bedroom!

On the other hand Jessica must swallow a very bitter pill of defeat which removes another opportunity for PageThrees to finally secure that long-awaited title shot. She still vows to beat Maria Ozawa next and the Japanese AV star comes off a loss to Kelly Hall herself so there's every chance the redemption plan will be put into motion sooner than even Denise van Outen thinks. Several girls like Jade Thirlwall, Ozawa and now Clement have checked out of the title picture in recent weeks but they remain extremely talented fighters on the fringes of divisional ranking's Top 5 and will certainly fill out the audiences all around the country in months to come. Even the Real View TV crew must agree with that?
