Emily VanCamp versus Shailene Woodley

Before: “Yup she’s checked most of the boxes, a great record, she’s a former champ. She’s done some pretty impressive things but let me tell you I’ve been waiting for this night ever since our first fight. I thought that I had it. I thought that I was going to win and she got me in the ninth round. Tonight that’s not going to happen! I want this and I’m going to get it! Emily is a great fighter but tonight I’m going to march right through her!” Shailene is short and sweet with her comments but brutally honest with her intentions. Reporters recoil at her directness against such an accomplished fighter in Emily Van Camp.

“Wow I really made an impression in our first fight. Looks like someone is carrying a grudge, which is unfortunate because I don’t see Shailene changing much tonight. It may get a little dicey out there tonight because she’s not a walk over but the result is going to be the same, I’ll be on top in a tune up towards another shot at the title. Sorry Shailene.” Emily’s last comment sends the color of Shailene’s skin to a dark crimson shade of p!$$&d off.

Both women looking extraordinary in their fight ensembles. Emily in a silver bikini with black gloves and calf boots her hair in a battle ponytail. Shailene in full Bazz black regalia, bikini, gloves and her own calf boots. Shailene wearing an equally tight ponytail.

Rd 1 Shailene out like a bolt of lightning looking to create a blitzkrieg like assault and get Emily back on her heels. Lookoutgirl moves about with an ease of fluidity dodging Shailene’s aggressiveness and landing some very effective counter punches. Shailene undeterred moves back with a couple of hard thrown combinations. The crowd can see the anger steaming off her back. Emily showing her cool takes a few steps in retreat to avoid the assault and calmly pushes out some very effective counter punches. Shailene effectively content to trade punches with Van Camp during the first round although the Lookoutgirl is getting the best of it points wise as the round comes to an end.

Rd 2 Emily shifts gears from counter puncher to offensive weapon. She’s jabbing at Shailene leaning in with thoughtful well placed punches that frustrate the Bazzgirl. It’s starting to look like an all Van Camp show with superior tactics and quick crisp punches. Emily goes after Shailene with a series of jabs knocking up against her head followed up with a right hand to the body that lands with a loud smack bringing the crowd to its feet. Shailene’s aggressive start calmed by Emily’s thorough counterpunching strategy is doing her best to jab with Emily. She’s touching up Emily’s face using her reach while Emily scores with combinations to the body. At the end of the round Van Camp has come up just short of throwing a shutout for the round but a long way towards taking charge of the fight.

Rd 3 Shailene using her legs dancing in and out of Emily’s reach now. She’s a moving target and not a charging bull anymore. Bazzgirl uses her head in attacking the very smart and deadly puncher from Lookout. She’s circling the blonde ducking her head this way and that doing a good job at keeping Van Camp gloves off her face. Woodley puts two jabs in Emily’s face and follows up with a looping right hand to the kidney crumpling Van Camp. Crowd roaring its approval as Shailene comes at Van Camps body with a series of right hands. Van Camp on her bicycle, throwing jabs in retreat keeping Woodley away from her as best as she can. Suddenly Shailene goes low again planting her right foot and twisting her body into a perfect right hand to the same side sending Van Camp into the ropes her face contorted showing the pain of it all. Shailene running the show now in a nice and well placed comeback. She’s pushing the Lookout bantam around as the bell for the round rings.

Rd 4 Shailene out looking smooth and calm per Poindexter Del Crunchy’s instructions. She lets Emily make the first move with some light jabs. Van Camp still looking hurt the result of a couple of right hand stingers to the body from Shailene. Van Camp chasing Woodley a little using her own reach to touch up the Bazzgirl’s face. Emily pumps out two jabs and then planting her right foot swings a right hand towards Woodley’s torso but Shailene is quicker and a Bazzgirl right whizzes by Van Camp’s face catching her chin with some serious force. EMILY STEPPING IN FENCE POST HOLES! She’s more than dazed and confused as Shailene chases her down against the ropes. Van Camp in classic ‘I’m in trouble’ hands up around face pose absorbing a flurry of punches from Woodley as the bell rings.

Rd 5 Woodley can smell it now. She’s dominated the last two rounds and she seemingly has Van Camp hurt. Both fighters at mid ring throwing everything they have. Emily still protecting her left side which has taken some serious punishment from Woodley’s right hand. Shailene concentrating on staying calm and not getting greedy with the powerful blonde. She lands a jab and keeps her distance, scoring and escaping. Woodley into this mode until she forces a right hand in after a left hand jab. Van Camp takes the jab, blocks the right and powers her own right hand straight into Woodley face. DOWN GOES WOODLEY! Brown haired beauty stunned by shocking quickness from Van Camp takes a seat on the canvas with eyes wide and a bloody nose. She takes the count up to 7 and then gets up and receives an additional 8 from the ref. Emily back in control taking advantage of Shailene, who is wondering what the heck just happened to her, with a strong assault taking the Bazzgirl up against the ropes. Woodley covering up while Emily has her way with a slew of rapid fire punches doing her best to try and end this fight while the getting is good. Shailene takes the punishment until the bell rings signaling another change in momentum.

Rd 6 Emily loose and ready starts the round showing Shailene how an experienced fighter takes advantage of a knock down. She’s pushing out jabs and scoring at will while the Bazzgirl still looks shell shocked at the prior round’s knockdown. Emily hits Shailene with a boob shot jab and then swings in with a right hand to the torso that causes Shailene to wince and bend to her left. The punch seems to anger Woodley more than hurt her though as she comes right back at Van Camp. Both fighters start throwing bombs at each other. It’s hammer and tongs between the two as they are toe to toe showing little desire to put up any defense against the other’s punches. Emily going for Woodley’s body with jabs and right hand buggywhips. Meanwhile Shailene is at full tilt boogie taking shots at Van Camp’s head. Her right hand is a blur of over the top punches. Emily takes the abuse from Woodley’s rights and then sends an uppercut that catches full boob and stuns Woodley. Shailene forced to cover up while Emily moves up top catching Woodley’s face with a devastating three punch combination that further stuns Woodley. Shailene bleeding from the nose again seems saved by the bell as Van Camp having dominated the round moving in for the kill lands a couple of post bell punches causing a moan from the crowd. Woodley goes back after a smiling Van Camp slapping her in the face with a right. Referee pointing towards Van Camp who has taken a seat in her corner telling her that he will not tolerate any sort of bedlam breaking out in this fight. Van Camp listening with what looks like intense intent tries to hide her glee at getting Shailene Woodley back into hot head mode where the blonde owns a distinct advantage.

Rd 7 Neither girl interested in corner instructions or defensive boxing anymore. Pure redfaced anger rules the day now. Both girls winging some serious haymakers hoping to catch the lottery ticket punch that sends the other to the infirmary. Ultimately it’s heads on shoulders and gloves furiously moving below. Bodies are taking an extraordinary amount of abuse from boob down to the belt when suddenly Van Camp buckles and the ref moves in separating the girls. Ref points towards a red faced Shailene Woodley and then moves over to the judges taking a point away from the Bazzgirl for landing a shot to the crotch. Van Camp doing her best impression of a World Cup soccer player feigning all sorts of permanent disability while the ref takes care of business. The fight continues with both fighters trading punches with the speed of flyweights and the dangerous awe inspiring power of welterweights. The crowd amazed that one of the girls hasn’t been dropped is roaring its approval. The bell rings at even with Woodley’s foul tipping the scales Van Camp’s way until takes yet another post round swipe at Woodley landing it on her chin. Crowd boos as loudly as it did for Woodley’s crotch shot as the ref moves in on Van Camp apoplectic at the fighter developing a habit of fighting to a 3.01 round. He quickly heads to the judges table giving Shailene Woodley her point back evening the round. Meanwhile both fighters have to be separated. They back up to their respective corners neither willing to turn their back on the other at this point barking flyweight style snarky comments at each other as they retreat.

Rd 8 Pure anger and grim determination each approach the other as the round begins. The ref steps in and tells the girls to take it easy with the dirty stuff and then lets them fight. Fighting seems clean but it’s ungodly furious as Van Camp and Woodley take their places toe to toe at center ring. As with the previous two rounds it’s hammer and tongs with leather flying. Van Camp hitting Shailene up with in jabs until she’s in close and then her right hand upper cut is taking a devastating toll on the Bazzgirl’s jugs. Meanwhile Shailene is rocking Emily’s head back with face crunching jabs. Suddenly it’s a Woodley right hand to the torso that sends a smack above the din of the howling crowd. Shailene all up top until she sneaks a quick and effective right hand low into Van Camp’s side. Lookoutgirl is slumped over looking for help along the ropes. Woodley steps up and calmly lands a three punch combination to Emily’s head. Van Camp meekly covering up while her head is knocked back numerous times until the bell rings overwhelmingly in Woodley’s favor. For a second Shailene thinks about swinging again after the bell to give van Camp a bit of her own medicine but the ref steps in ending more thoughts of dirty play from Woodley.

Rd 9 The fight has been brutal, close and dirty from both sides so the ref steps in with more instructions before the round begins. Both fighters seemingly ignoring him and looking grimly at each other until they step into it. Van Camp knocks back Woodley’s head with a vicious jab and the crowd as weary as it is from such a back and forth brawl is back into it. Woodley reels back from the shot and is able to counter on Van Camp with a right cross to the nose. Both fighters bleeding now, Woodley unable to stop the bleeding from her nose while a cut has opened up above Van camp’s right eye. Yet if the ref tried to stop this they would simply push him aside and get back to it there’s just that much intense loathing developed from this. Van Camp goes after Woodley’s midsection again. She’s trying to carve out these last two rounds and get away with the decision so points are so important. Woodley still head hunting taking swipes up top on Emily. Both fighters not showing any signs of slowing down, the conditioning from both clubs is just that good. Emily ducks down for some more body but Shailene is waiting she moves towards Emily’s midsection again with a right hand causing Van Camp to flinch just enough, a natural muscle memory from Shailene’s previous assaults there. Woodley redirects up to the chin with the right landing a powerful stinger follows up with a left cross and as Van Camp fades another right catching Van Camp above the eye again and DOWN GOES EMILY! Shailene Woodley standing over the curled up blonde beauty screaming at the top of her longs down at her. For a while the ref can’t move her and get a count in as she is letting out all the emotion she can get from deep down in her guts. It doesn’t matter as Van Camp is not moving. Finally it’s a vicious back and forth 9th round KO for Shailene Woodley!

After: Neither camp taking anything for granted. Both of them charge the ring and begin chesting up against one another inside the ropes. Cassie Scerbo and Vanessa Hudgens circling each other like a couple of spitting cobras each looking for a piece of other. Hudgens howling insults at Scerbo’s new darker hair color while Scerbo comes back all Donald Trump like stating that Hudgens boobs are extremely uneven and that she ought to see a plastic surgeon. Lookout along with Floydian perhaps the only club that could handle a war with Bazz Womano a Womano has Upton and Strahovski eyeing Bloodgood and Regan while the other Bazz bantams walk back Peregrym and Dobrov and Brenda Song and Jenna Coleman proceed to explore a shoving match. After a good bit of cold war exercises the two sides are pushed off of the canvas by a rather lethargic and very intimidated security team.

“She fights dirty! That’s really all I have to say. I’ll be ready next time maybe it’ll be a title fight who knows but I’m never backing down from her again!” Shailene Woodley announces as the trainers work on her nose. When asked about the point taken away from her Woodley comes back a bit more diplomatic. “Look maybe I should walk back that first comment a little bit. This was just that tight and emotional a fight for me and ultimately for her too. Let me just say that Emily Van Camp knows that it’s game on from now on all the way to a title match! I know I’m the junior bantam member at Bazz and for good reason when you watch those three girls ahead of me fight but once you get the taste from a fight like this you can’t help but want to go all in!”
