TESS VALMORE
UTGAARD/SCHUMER A good fight to open the card. Utgaard had the lead at the end of three. In the fourth, Schumer decked Utgaard for an eight count, She then won both the fifth and sixth to open a substantial lead. Utgaard rallied to take the seventh and drop Schumer for an eight count in the eighth to even the bout. Schumer won round nine to take the lead going into the final round. Utgaard managed to floor Schumer in the last round to win the round and the fight by one point
SCHILLING/ARTERTON This bout went exactly as expected. The fight was even at the end of two. Arterton hurt Schilling in the third and finished her off in the fourth with a straight right. Arterton by a KO4
KESHA/BARRETT Kesha opened the bout by taking the first two rounds. Barrett came back to tale the third and fourth and even up the fight. That was the highpoint of her night. Kesha hurt Barrett in the fifth. In the sixth, an overhand left from Kesha landed right on the button and Barrett was switched off. She didn’t move as the count past 10
SHAH/MEESTER This fight was much like the previous bout. The bout was even at the end of two. Shah won the third to take the lead. Meester hurt Shah in the fourth to even the fight up again. In the fifth. a Meester left hook sent Shah down to the canvas for the count.
MACK/BYRNE I thought Byrne’s chances of winning this bout were nil, however she was ahead on the card at the end four and had hurt Mack in the third. Mack started her comeback in the fifth, hurting Byrne. She hurt Byrne again in the fifth and had Byrne hanging on as the round ended. Byrne did not finish the seventh as she was the victim of a Mack right hook and dropped her to the canvas for the ten count
ROHM/SOBIESKI This was Rohm’s fourth straight appearance at the Asylum, She didn’t win any of the first three. She didn’t win this one either. She didn’t finish any of the first three. She didn’t finish this one either. She won three of the first four and was still ahead on the cards at the end of five. In this sixth, a booming right hand left Rohm out on the canvas. I understand why the Wiz invites her to be on a card. The question is why does Pointy keep on sending her.
