THREE BLONDES & THREE BRUNETTES VS THREE BLONDES & THREE BRUNETTES AT THE ASYLUM

BEFORE:

"No catchweight this time," says Taylor with a nod. "This time, I'm at my natural weight, and it's going to make a difference. I can win this fight tonight, and that's just what I'm going to do."

"She's been here before," says Gemma with a nod of her own. "She knows the drill. But, that's not going to prevent her from GETTING drilled."

ROUND ONE:

O'Dell: "We're back at ringside and that's 'Fidelity' by Regina Spektor, a personal favorite of the lady coming down to the ring now, the star of 'Orange Is The New Black', Taylor Schilling!"

Cassie: "Have you ever managed to find out what channel that's on, Mac?"

McCarthy: "Don't you START with me, Scabbo! I know it's on Netflix. And, when I find that channel, I'm going to watch it! Natasha Lyonne is in it and I always liked her."

Tess: "Interestingly, the theme music for the show, 'You've Got Time', is by Regina Spektor. You'll have to let us know if you like the song, Mac. You know, when you find that channel..."

McCarthy: "I'll do that. And, I've been meaning to call that satellite company. Siri, remind me to call the satellite company..."

Siri: "They probably won't take your calls, either, bimbo..."

McCarthy: "WHAT...YOU...SHUT UP, SIRI!"

Tess: "How..."

Cassie: "Again. I can do ANYthing."

O'Dell (sighing): "Schilling into the ring and helped off with the robe to reveal that orange two piece we saw the last time, and that's 'London Calling' by the Clash you hear, and that means 'The Gravesend Gladiator', Gemma Arterton, is on her way to ringside..."

Cassie: "Arterton one of the Big Four at the top of the Front Street lightweight division, along with Torv, Perry, and Decker, and, if she wants to stay there, she needs to take care of business tonight."

O'Dell: "Gemma into the ring and helped off with the robe by Jewel and Neve, and it's time to get some picks. Tess favors Gemma. Mac?"

McCarthy: "Schilling has one FCBA win and it was against a girl who's really a bantamweight. Arterton."

O'Dell: "Cassie?"

Cassie: "I agree with Tess!"

O'Dell: "And, here we go. Taylor wants to make with the long left jab right away. The blonde actually a little taller than Gemma, and she has a bit of reach. Arterton bobbing the head, moving the feet. The Brit very athletic, as we've seen in the past. Schilling, though, getting that jab home and creating some space with it..."

Tess: "Gemma can play this game, though, the gun platform stuff."

O'Dell: "Indeed, Arterton will box at range all day long and do it very well. She's slick. She's quick. But, give credit to the blonde, because she's proving to be just as slick and quick in the early going. Taylor holding her own on these terms and creating a good, two-way first round to this point..."

McCarthy: "Proves how over-rated Arterton is. If Palicki had been in there, this thing would be OVER already."

O'Dell: "Thirty seconds left in the first. Good, sharp exchanges becoming the name of the game in the late going. Both fighters getting punches put together and on target. Nobody hurt, but both girls getting attention with some clean stuff as we near the bell. Final five seconds tick away and that's it. Close. Schilling."

ROUND TWO:

O'Dell: "Back to action and we're on the same terms in the second as we were in the first. It's ranged boxing with both fighters moving the feet, head, and hands, looking to set up right hands with those long jabs. This is good, slick stuff on both sides, Mac, and, again, while it's not a surprise from Gemma..."

McCarthy: "I'm not impressed. It's not that hard to box with an average fighter like Arterton."

O'Dell: "Gemma getting a good combination on right there. Backed Schilling up a step, but Taylor right back to work. She's popping that jab overtime, using it to score points and to try to create openings for the right hand. Arterton stepping forward some now and banging a little body, but Schilling quickly restoring the range with the feet..."

Cassie: "Taylor is sturdy enough for this division, but she does NOT want to get into a banging contest with Gemma. That will NOT end well."

O'Dell: "Final 30 seconds of another good, two-way round. Arterton again closing for a second and banging a little body, but, again, Taylor circles back and right, gets the distance where she wants it, and gets back to work. Ten seconds left. Good exchange there and both fighters landed solid shot. Bell. Another close one. This one to Arterton."

Tess: "And, we're even at 19."

ROUND THREE:

O'Dell: "Gemma's had enough of fighting on Taylor's terms, and she's now trying to force her own. Arterton working forward behind the jab, moving the feet, looking to cut the ring and close. Schilling circling back and right, wants to maintain range, but Gems not having it now. She's closing, thumping..."

Cassie: "RIGHT HAND, ARTERTON!"

O'Dell: "A NASTY straight right from Gemma and Taylor is hurt! Schilling wobbled and she's now taking heavy fire from the brunette. Arterton all OVER the blonde, pummeling her back into the ropes and banging away. Schilling quickly clinching, hanging on. Gemma stacking her up, working some body, then back to the head..."

McCarthy: "Give the kid credit. She knows how to run clock at least. She's tying up well."

O'Dell: "But, Arterton continues to work or punch free, keeps up a steady work rate. Has Schilling in trouble, despite the blonde's best efforts. Taylor leaning into the ropes in a high guard now, putting the body on sale. Gems not buying. Wants to end this. But she's going to run out of time. There's the bell to finish the third. Arterton wide, but Schilling makes it to the bell."

Tess: 29-28, Gemma after three."

ROUND FOUR:

O'Dell: "Arterton stalking Taylor now. Schilling circling back and right again, popping that jab, trying to get space. Gems not going to have it. She's walking through Taylor's defenses, committing on heavy punches. Schilling being backed up. She's tying up again now. Trying to slow down the onslaught..."

McCarthy: "The kid needs to get her legs back under her so that she can punch for respect."

O'Dell: "And, until she does, Gemma's going to keep taking liberties, and that's exactly what she's doing now, just wading right in on Taylor, forcing her to retreat, landing hard shot after hard shot and DOWN GOES SCHILLING! Straight right hand again from Gems and Taylor knocked flat to her back."

Cassie (singing): "Turn out the liiiiggghttttsss, the party's ohhhhverrrrr...."

O'Dell: "Arterton to a neutral corner. Count at three. Four. Five. Taylor rolls to her right side. Six. Seven. Eight. Nine. She can't get off her side! Ten! It's over! Schilling, despite a game effort, can't beat the count, and your winner by KO4 in bulldozer fashion is 'The Gravesend Gladiator', Gemma Arterton!"

Tess: "Let's take a look a the replay on this punch. Gemma walking forward. Taylor's head snapped back by a solid left and here comes the right cross. BOOM! Snaps the head back and cuts power to the legs and it's all over."

AFTER:

O'Dell: "Let's go up to the ring and Tess Valmore."

Tess: "I have our winner, Gemma Arterton, and, Gems, she can box a little bit..."

Gemma (nodding): "No question. We knew that coming in, but, she's even a bit better than we expected. That's why I wanted to get some power on target and take her out of there."

Tess: "And, it didn't take you overly long to do it."

Gemma: "No, I caught her with a couple of rights, and, there aren't many lights in the FCBA who are going to be standing when I land a clean right hand like that. Not many at all."
