BEFORE: Many experts believe these two girls will meet again in the final despite Emma Rigby & Jodi Albert looking to upset those predictions. Gemma Bissix was perhaps lucky she fought Rigby before the latter signed with the Ginny's Academy and Jennifer Metcalfe didn't really dominate Albert in a very close decision result that could have gone either way during Week 2 of the Hollyoaks PPV. However that was then and this is now according to Lookout! Atlantic's manager Nicole Richie who tells Denise van Outen that she's trying to persuade BBU into booking an official bantamweight title shot for the tournament's winner - in case Jennifer Metcalfe actually emerges as the Hollyoaks Alpha.

Beevers' coach Denise Lewis refuses to comment on Gemma's title ambitions and tells Tom Hilton that looking too far ahead can actually backfire into Metcalfe's face and that's the main reason Bissix must be considered an overall favorite to win the tournament however the O2 Arena is handed a real coin-flipper Main Event in Week 3 and both girls are ready to do whatever it takes to maintain their unbeaten record.

Gemma Bissix wears a red bikini top, white knickers and golden gloves. Long blonde hair tied in a bun at the back of her head. Jennifer Metcalfe wears a lacy black bikini set and red gloves. Long dark brown hair in loose waves. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the bantamweight division.

Round 1:
Both girls jump into a heavy jabbing test that has Bissix thumping more clean punches into Metcalfe's face and driving her back against the ropes much sooner than most of the O2 Arena anticipated. The blonde looks ready to establish the Beevers superiority on th entire Hollyoaks set and forces her opponent into a deep earmuff cover before a belting hook on the liver area dumps Jennifer into a loud wincing departure and allows the blonde to bury more nasty shots up the middle. Metcalfe's guard begins to buckle under this heavy artillery but the clock expires just as Gemma was getting vocal and seemingly set to punish her foe with the biggest dose of leather yet. There's no love lost between these two but Bissix was vastly superior to open her account and even Denise van Outen joins the crowd's standing applause.

Round 2:
Gemma gives the brunette a real bytch stare before the second and looks to resume the punishment but she falls short of the mark as Jennifer quickly adapts the duck & weave tactics to bide herself some time after a very poor opening round. Blonde wants to connect with her flesh but skims off the forearms and gets picked off with single shots over the top which only makes her more annoyed and earns Metcalfe a solid vocal abuse. Nicole Richie isn't quite sure whether the brunette manages to keep her calm but thankfully Gemma Bissix isn't exactly Samia Ghadie and Jennifer withstands the mocking shouts before silencing the blonde with a cross hooking route late in the going that smacks her across the lips and spins back to coach Denise Lewis right at the bell.

Round 3:
Metcalfe settles into a mid range peek-a-boo tactics which proves too much for Bissix's patience, the blonde is ready to dish out immediate punishment in close range but fails to find her stride and must accept the brunette's superior agility which enables the Lookout girl to control the single hand counterpunching drill down the stretch. Beevers coach Lewis tries to calm the blonde down but after a brief lull period in the second minute, Gemma still loses her temper and jumps into a hectic frenzy that finally enables her to smash a left/right combo into Jennifer's mouth but earns her a belting hook on the liver in response as the brunette shouts back at her and finds more late success, stacking the blonde's boobs against her chin and sagging her on wobbly knees right at the bell.

Round 4:
We're back into a classic ring brawl and Metcalfe has lost her temper after all, Beevers coach Lewis knows best that Gemma is set to dominate the close range affair and by the time Jennifer soaks up a ribcage pounding assault, it's too late to change her mind. Bissix gets a little vocal again as she can bury her gloves into the brunette's body before a sinking hooks cleans out the solar plexus and makes Metcalfe yelp in pain. A scything cross on the mouth sends her reeling into the ropes where Bissix traps her for remainder of the round and wrecks the toned midriff to dump Jennifer into painful shouts with the low guard unable to tame the Beevers' onslaught. Ref has to haul Gemma off her opponent but apparently the blonde wants Metcalfe to understand this was just a preview of upcoming punishment.

Round 5:
Denise van Outen thinks that Bissix gained a slight mental edge over the fellow 32 year old but Metcalfe most drop the brawling ideas if she wants to regain her focus. That won't happen in the fifth round though as Gemma easily stacks the brunette up with a jabbing flurry up the middle and begins to leave visible lumps on Jennifer's face come the second minute. Somehow the Lookout! girl manages to avoid getting punched back to the ropes until the latter stages but she loses the war of attrition like BBU TV crew predicted and her aches are much louder now while Bissix keeps hammering in more shots upstairs until she finally dumps the hapless foe on the turnbuckle and looks to smash her high guard once and for all. That's a praiseworthy idea but a little too predictable for someone sharing gym time with Jenna Coleman and Douzten Kroes; Metcalfe remains under a lot of pressure but she clinches the blonde to avoid a looming disaster and even Beevers coach Denise Lewis looks annoyed that Gemma wasn't able to make more from that position.

Round 6:
All smiles in the Beevers camp until Gemma gets nailed with a piercing left hook on the eye that spins her to the side and has Jennifer stuffing more leather to the blonde's chest. Someone just got caught off guard and Jennifer's close range attack was never on Gemma's radar after the previous two rounds seemed to indicate the brunette is all set to crumble mentally more than anything else. She repays the Beevers with a heavy dose of leather though and pounds the blonde back into the turnbuckle where she harpoons the liver area while Bissix tries to hang on behind a high earmuff. She fails to embrace the gut-checking attack and slumps on her knees when Metcalfe drives a couple of shots on the solar plexus and clips the rack a little too often not to affect the blonde's breathing. Bissix is lucky to clinch the raging opponent deep into the final minute but Metcalfe still blasts her on the ribcage with more piercing jabs in the dying seconds and at the bell it's the hitherto dominant blonde who winces in visible pain while Nicole Richie leads the standing ovation from her seats.

Round 7:
Denise Lewis urges Gemma to attack before the Lookout! girl gains more momentum but the collision course has the blonde's lips bursting into a bloody mess seconds into the seventh when Metcalfe NAILS HER with a classic piledriver and adds immediate hooking combo that serves as the heaviest drive of the night. BISSIX IS HURT and wobbles back on her heels with her arms dropped by the side... AND METCALFE SLAMS HER ON THE NOSE to aid the knockdown scenario.... BLONDE GOES DOWN ON HER BACKSIDE and rolls onto her side momens later with the blood from the roughed up lips now seeping on her forearm... Disaster for coach Lewis & the Beevers' entourage while Metcalfe wipes the sweat off her forehead and gloats over the fallen blonde... Gemma's shocked more than physically hurt and beatst he count at eight but remains lethargic on her feet and Jennifer has no trouble in pounding her back to the ropes where she seeks more damage and buries the blonde under more body assault to ignore the desperate high earmuff. Bissix hangs on for dear life and survives the heavy pasting in the final half-minute but she slumps on the ropes at the bell with eyes closed and her lips are just bleeding all over the place now. Mucho patch-work required from the Beevers cutmen during the break!

Round 8:
Gemma's visibly upset over her mouth injury but romps into another attack.. she swings straight at Jennifer's face and... cuts thin air as the brunette ducks underneath the aerial attack and crashes into the blonde's rack with a heavy left hook before blasting her from the right... that shot lands spot on Gemma's ear and dumps her into a shrieking dismay... Ugh! Bissix nearly goes down but sags deep on her knees and Metcalfe lifts her left leg off the ground before blasting a massive uppercut on the jaw that snaps Gemma's head back but more importanly SENDS HER SLIDING DOWN ON HER BACK WITH EYES CLOSED... Epic shot from the Lookout! brunette who screams at the fallen opponent and has to be wrestled back to her corner.... Gemma is all lost at sea here... she sit up at six but even the delayed count doesn't save her pride... she gets up at nine and vows to continue the fight but she slumps into the referee's embrace and it's rather obvious she's still rattled by that monster hook on the ear... Yep, the ref craddles her back to Denise Lewis and the Beevers coach only argues the decision so long before noticing that Gemma's eyes are zombie-like hollow and the girl asks her whether it's round ten already. TKO8 Jennifer Metcalfe!!!

AFTER: Doutzen Kroes would be proud of that last shot but Jennifer just sneaked through the hole and caught Gemma as clean as you can at this level... That's a very solid way to silence the critics who questioned the Albert decision victory as somewhat fortituous. On the other hand Bissix is a renowned veteran but she's not as bulletproof as before and she really looked like sending Metcalfe to the cleaners at half-distance before the Yorkshire brunette found a second wind in her sails and eked out the big "W'.

This fight was worthy of a potential Hollyoaks Special final and both Denise van Outen and Tom Hilton would approve of a rematch when the silverware is eventually on the line. Jennifer moves into 3-0 on the PPV and only a disaster would rule her out of the final showdown now (especially that she's yet to face the much-maligned Claire Cooper). However for Gemma things are getting a little tight. She faces Jodi Albert in Week 4 and another loss then would ruin her #1 favorite status if tonight's result hasn't done that already!
