BEFORE: When Brooklyn Decker is your reigning lightweight champion the modelling wars are ready to enter the elite level regardless of the circumstances. Karolina Kurkova comes off a JMDD double trouble that saw her split the jug muggin' experience between Samantha Hoopes and Jennifer Lawrence but fighting Adriana Lima is a personal matter and with Gisele Bundchen sitting on top of the Ice Hotel, there's every chance the Odds & Ends veteran enters the silverware picture before the next PPV line-up is announced!

Bundchen is even more of a personal target for Lima but removing Decker from the lineal throne is equally exciting! With the Body Saddle locked up for the time being over Foxfire/O&E money dispute, Lima was forced to sit on the sidelines since July of last year and that makes her hungry for a good knockout to remind everyone why all these Uptons and Deckers should be carefully looking over their shoulders. Adriana IS the modelling GOAT who once send Naomi Campbell AND Cindy Crawford into retirement back when nobody's even heard of Tess Valmore and Boxing World Magazine!

Above else though, this is a rematch for the KO1 beating the Czech model took from Lima back in October 2012 under BBU sanctions.

Karolina Kurkova wears a navy blue bikini with leopard trim and white gloves. Long blonde hair tied in a sleek ponytail. Adriana Lima wears a yellow bikini set and green gloves. Long dark brown hair in loose waves. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the lightweight division.

Round 1:
Well, it looks like the rematch will last a little longer this time as Kurkova decides to blast through Lima from the opening bell to make sure she doesn't get wrapped into KO daze so quickly again. Even the brunette looks surprised by the frantic Czech assault that splits her mitts and bends her to the side with Karolina romping away from both sides to stack her foe up along the ropes come the second minute. Adriana responds well while trying to stretch her elbows and make it competitive but Kurkova scythes her across the lips and whips against the ropes which enables her to clean out the gut thereafter and leave the older model gasping for air at the bell.

Round 2:
Adriana shows some nifty footwork to avoid another opening blast from the blonde and counters her to the body before settling into a close range slugfest. She peppers Karolina's ribcage with quick & sharp jabs which prevent the blonde from looping more aerial attacks and it becomes clear the younger model doesn't feel so comfortable anymore as she has to dig deep into Lima's midsection to finally shake her off into mid distance. Alas she gets beaten for a right-on-right overhand and sags on her knees when Adriana smacks her on the nose... a late flury of jabs backs the Czech girl to the turnbuckle and has Lima on top of another midsection punishing route just as the clock expires.

Round 3:
More of the same in the second, Adriana settles into close range to punish the blonde's ribcage but gets caught with the biggest punch of the lot when Karolina spikes her on the liver area and bumps off jug-to-jug thereafter. She rips a left hook into the brunette's mouth to make her yelp in pain before driving more crisp hooks to the midriff and force a clinch out of the annoyed looking opponent. Following a brief power struggle Kurkova shakes the brunette off and ducks underneath a high loop to pierce the toned breadbasket and clip Lima's rack for a good measure. This only increases the Brazilian's anger who tries to square back into close range but has to back away in the final minute when the Czech picks her off with a looping combo on the temples.

Round 4:
This is a far cry from the original meeting between these two but Adriana clearly loses her temper now... she was ready to blast Brooklyn Decker apart and here she struggles to enforce her dominance over a fellow model she smoked to a KO1 mess before... the hit & miss hooking approach leads her into wobbling straight into the path of a clubbing right hook on the jaw just shy of the minute mark... Ooomph! Even Lioness Club coach Claudia Schiffer yelped at that one... AND LIMA'S HURT... she sags on her knees with woozy look in her eyes and drops her guard just so inch perfect for Kurkova to BLAST A RIGHT CROSS on the nose AND SEND ADRIANA CRASHING DOWN ON HER BACKSIDE moments later! Epic failure for the Odds & Ends crew as Lima needs time to recover and deliberately lingers on her back until the count reaches eight... Uh-oh... the glamour smile is gone but the eyes throw thunders at the lanky Czech who glares down at her foe from the opposite corner: "Now I'm really mad!", Adriana whispers to herself and is lucky there's little time remaining for Kurkova to mount another rally and finish the brunette off. However the sight of Lima dancing & weaving herself out of the striking zone is rare enough to silence the Miami crowd and well, this rematch has upset scenario written all over it now!

Round 5:
Lima parachutes to mid distance safety and for once doesn't seek clubbing the blonde's face from point-blank range. However Kurkova's qualified enough to adjust her stance and she's done plenty of good in full stretch anyway. She keeps picking the pre-fight favorite off until coach Schiffer tells her to get on with it and just blast Lima apart before she can mount a comeback... a hurried up Czech mode follows and gives Adriana a set of swollen lips in the proccess with her guard crumbling under pressure but the Brazilian showing mucho resilience while getting whitewashed into the turnbuckle. Karolina looks to pierce the liver area and chop the brunette in half come the dying seconds but despite running away with an one-sided affair, she just can't hurt Lima beyond the limit and well, you need more raw power to do that since the ammount of punches alone ain't gonna do the trick just yet. Lima is wounded and lags behind on points but like any true predator, she will attack rather than hide from now on!

Round 6:
Sure enough, while Kurkova tries to hammer the brunette into submission, there's still plenty of fire left in Lima who tangles with the Czech girl in the center of the ring and rips a belting hook on the liver before adding a flurry of shots to the rack which sends the younger model into brief retreat. However because Karolina's done so much good work up to this point, she leaps back at the brunette and pierces the high guard enforcing a close range duell that seemingly works in her favor... that's until she gets whooped on the solar plexus and aches out in pain while Adriana clubs her on the chin to wobble her back to the ropes. More punches crash into the blonde's face in the final minute and allthough the guard withstands the test, Lima just stuck her foot in the door and didn't check out of this contest mentally either.

Round 7:
This is just an example of Lima's stubborness and resistance as she squares up to the blonde in close range and even LCA coach Schiffer begins to wonder who's leading on points here as Karolina's ponytail gets spun around her neck and the Brazilian model rips into her face to leave a couple of nasty cuts below the left eye on the minute mark. Like it or not, Kurkova accepts the war of attrition tactics but lacks the big punch she found in the fourth and succumbs to the higher work rate of her opponent. Lima adds the core strenght to her favor too and keeps the younger model trapped along the ropes before finally applying some jug muggin' assault to really punish Karolina in the final minute and dump her into a moaning clinching struggle. Lima leans on her though and almost headbutts in the nose but quickly reverts into jabbing her on the solar plexus which leaves the blonde seriously out of breath at the bell and unable to respond to classic death stare Adriana gives her before turning back to the O&E corner.

Round 8:
This is championship stuff from Lima now who sinks the aching blonde with a clubbing left/right hook before adding a belting cross on the liver area. Karolina can only open her eyes really wide but she requires a lenghty breather and remains stranded in the center of the ring. She misfires over the top with a predictable and shallow response which in turn gets countered with more belting hook around the elbows... LIMA CHOPS THE BLONDE LIKE FRESH MEAT with a flurry of quick hooks turning the otherwise pale skin into a pinkish nightmare... And Kurkova wobbles back & forth on her knees unable to neither break free nor clinch the Brazilian into safety... AND DOWN SHE GOES moments later when Lima just wrenches her on the liver area with one blow too many... Ugh! Karolina sits down on her heels and bends her head against the canvas trying to embrace the pain but still shows enough courage and grit to beat the count at eight... the ref looks on and notices the slumped attire but allows the Czech to continue... or more like feeds her to the lions because Adriana leaps into her path and rips immediate hooking drive into the aching guts before blasting a left cross on the jaw the guard is never able to stop... Kurkova bellows out onto the ropes and wraps both her arms around them in order to stay upright which invites the brunette into a facial reconstruction plans... and she wades in on the money... she punches the rubber out of Karolina's mouth and leaves her sagging in semi-conscious mode only for the REF TO STEP IN AND HAUL THE BRAZILIAN OFF before it's too late. Vicious TKO8 Adriana Lima in come-from-behind fashion!!!

AFTER: Goodbye Karolina, hello Gisele and/or Brooklyn? With the Body Saddle postponed until further notice, Adriana still wants the silverware next time she enters the ring! And there are like two VERY obvious targets on the horizon! Let's hear it from the woman herself:

"Uhmm... well, Gisele and I go a looooong way back. You guys don't even realize how many times we faced off on the Copacabana... man, those were very good days.. and I always had her number... like really always! Why else do you think I'm the pin-up girl of all the Brazilian models around here and she didn't even exist before the Serinda Swan double? Well, better late than never! Now I can actually whoop her ass on world stage! But I still haven't forgotten when Brooklyn said she's done with them... you know.. models? Based on what? Just because she made the Sports Illustrated cover it doesn't mean she can rule the whole division! I wonder what Kate Upton thinks about that? Forget it, Brookie doesn't want to fight Upton? That's fine! She's not gonna escape from my grasp that easily! So, allthough the Body Saddle is safe, I'm ready for the Main Event... and you know well either Brooklyn or Gisele will answer the damn phone!"
