The Man In The Hat sits, as usual, at the center of the dais. To his left are Allison Mack, Jane Levy, Daniela Ruah, Britney Spears, Jewel, and Grace Park. To his right sit Serinda Swan, Kat Dennings, Neve Campbell, Katy Perry, Mariska Hargitay, and Avril Lavigne.
Man In The Hat: "All right, as usual, before we get to questions, there are some people I want to thank. Let's start with This Is Glamour. This is a stable, I think, with a future in the FCBA. Plenty of girls there who can sell tickets and win fights. We were happy to have 'em here, and, my guess is, we'll have 'em back sooner rather than later. Of course, we always take a minute to thank the indie fighters. Part of what Asylum is about is getting girls without management a chance to get in the spotlight. We're going to continue giving these girls exposure here and making good fights with them. And, of course, our good friends at Bazz, who are as much a part of Asylum as Front Street. We always get a great fight when Bazz visits. And, last but not least, let's thank the FCBA commission for sanctioning these bouts and making Asylum possible. Now. Cable Boy. Talk to me!"
HBO Reporter: "Let's talk about Mack and Ruah. These are two veteran fighters who were sort of going the stay-busy route tonight..."
Man In The Hat(smiling): "There are no 'stay busy' fights at Front Street. Every fight we sign has a purpose beyond keeping our fighters active. For Allison, she's right at the top of the bantamweight rankings, awaiting another title shot. There are a lot of slick boxers in the bantam rankings these days, so we wanted Knife to work against some of that. And, Lauren's a pretty slick boxer. As for Dani, she's, obviously, in a division where there are lots of girls with length. We wanted to get her in there against a girl with more of it than she has. Throw her against that. I though both of them looked good tonight. Showed you exactly what they are. Top-flight fighters. Contenders. Cable Boy II! Go!"
Showtime Reporter: "Jane Levy, obviously, is in a different spot..."
Man In The Hat (nodding): "Absolutely. She's still developin', and very well, I might add. But, we want to challenge developing fighters, too, and, again, length was where we were goin' with Simpson. Ashlee's caused problems for Front Street before. We wanted Jane to handle what Simpson brings to the ring. She handled it quite well, thank you. I was very pleased with what I saw from her tonight. And, that's becoming quite the habit. Brunette Magazine! Let's hear a question!"
Brunette Magazine Reporter: "I want to talk about Katy's fight with Alice. That was an absolute war in there, but it left people wondering why Perry slugged with Goodwin..."
Man In The Hat (nodding): "Oh, I know WHY. And, I think Katy explained that pretty well in the post-fight. But. Let me say this. While I didn't hate what I saw from Ms. Perry, we don't need to be seeing a lot more of it, if you know what I mean. Tess, dear, go ahead..."
Tess: "Obviously, this was a big fight for Kat, and you have to be pleased..."
Man In The Hat: "I'm very pleased with Kat. I've said before and I'll say again that Ms. Dennings has championship tools. There have been some bumps in the road for her, as there so often are, but there's no question she's progressed nicely for us. We expect that to continue, and we also expect Kat will be stepping up to that top level before too long. Smackeroo! Dinner time. Take us there!"
Reporter: "I think the biggest win of the night was Serinda's..."
Man In The Hat: "I think you're right. Swanny's been working toward getting back to where she was before Bundchen, and, I think the results since then coupled with a big win over a top-level fighter tonight, a fighter who beat Serinda the first time they fought, gets her there. It was a big step, and she took it. And, I'm not in the least bit surprised. Serinda's beaten as many good fighters as anyone we have here, and she was right on the doorstep of a title shot before Bundchen. She's all the way back now. And, we're all happy about it. Well. Almost all..."
(Laughter)
Man In The Hat: "Now. Dinner time! Tess! Smackey! Limo!"
