BEFORE:

"I'm very pleased to be making my FCBA debut at Asylum, where lots of girls have gotten started," says Lindsay with a gorgeous smile. "And, tonight, I'll prove that I'm not just another one of those girls."

"She's got a lot of length," says Dani with a nod. "And, we all know models like to scrap. But, tonight, she's getting into a scrap she can't handle."

ROUND ONE:

O'Dell: "We're back at ringside and that's 'Human Behavior' by Bjork, the favorite song of the stunning blonde coming to ringside, VS Angel Lindsay Ellingson!"

McCarthy: "Too skinny for 'Playboy', but not bad, I guess..."

Cassie: "Again, Ellingson is a Victoria's Secret Angel..."

McCarthy: "And, she's STILL too skinny for 'Playboy'..."

Tess: "Lindsay, of course, not the first Angel to fight here at Asylum, and, in fact, not the first Angel to fight against a Front Streeter this year, as, of course Erin Heatherton, now of The Fighting Academy, fought Antje Utgaard on the January pay-per-view..."

O'Dell: "Lindsay into the ring and helped off with the robe to reveal a deep blue number and a body that ANY magazine would be happy to have on its cover, and that's 'Nothing Else Matters' by Metallica pounding through the arena, and here comes 'The Portuguese Princess', Daniela Ruah!"

Cassie: "Ruah one of those girls in that crowded lightweight division at Front Street, one of the girls that's NOT in The Big Four of Torv, Arterton, Perry, and Decker, so she definitely needs to keep taking care of business in the ring..."

O'Dell: "And, she's looking like all business on her way to ringside. She climbs in, and is helped off with the robe by Jewel and Neve. Ruah wearing that powder blue bikini she likes and showing off a great body of her own..."

McCarthy: "ALSO not 'Playboy' material..."

O'Dell: "And, we're about ready to go. Time for some picks. Tess likes Daniela. Mac?"

McCarthy: "Ruah's nothing special, but even SHE can beat a girl with no FCBA wins. Ruah."

O'Dell: "Cassie?"

Cassie: "I agree with Tess!"

O'Dell: "And, here we go.And Ellingson, to no surprise, coming out jabbing here. Ton of length to that 5'11" frame, and she's using it very well in the early going. Ruah's nearly 5'9", so she's not used to giving up reach like this, and you're seeing it causing some problems for the brunette early..."

Cassie: "Ellingson also has a bit of a funky style. Not awkward like we saw from Simpson last fight, but a little different."

O'Dell: "No question, and that can cause problems, too. Ruah not getting very much done here right now. She's getting picked off with a lot of jabs and Lindsay doing a good job of landing follow on rights as well. Daniela mostly playing defense against all that length at the moment. Looking a little uncomfortable, Mac..."

McCarthy: "No question about it. She's having trouble dealing with this."

O'Dell: "And the blonde, if she had any butterflies to start with, certainly doesn't look to have many fluttering around at the moment. She's settling in very nicely, getting into a rhythm here. She's scoring well with both hands as we head into the final seconds. One more good flurry from Lindsay and there's the bell. Ellingson wide in the first."

Tess: "That's the way you want to start your debut."

ROUND TWO:

O'Dell: "We move to the second and Ruah starting to get the hang of this. She's getting some angles down now, getting to good spots and getting off in combination. Lindsay, though, is still effective herself. She's got that long left working, and she's scoring points with it and complicating what Daniela's trying to do."

McCarthy: "Got to admit I'm impressed with Ellingson so far. I didn't expect to see this from her."

O'Dell: "We are, at the moment, seeing plenty. The blonde showing good, sound boxing ability. Hands have decent speed. Moves the feet well. And, again, part of the key is that she knows how to take advantage of what she has. She's fighting a good style for her body type, and it's working against a Top 20 light."

Tess: "She's definitely giving Ruah some problems, no doubt about that."

O'Dell: "Daniela doing some problem solving, though, as the round goes on. She's not looking as vexed as she was in the first. Instead of spending her time on the defensive, she's getting off and scoring with both hands. The result's been a good, competitive round that comes to an end with a sharp exchange. Close to Ruah."

Cassie: "And, we're even at 19."

ROUND THREE:

O'Dell: "Back to work in the third and Ellingson getting off quickly here. She's getting the left hand on immediately, working to preempt Ruah, using that length very well once again. Daniela again being tossed over to the defensive, like what we saw in the first, and this may be even more impressive on the part of the blonde, Mac..."

McCarthy: "Absolutely. First round, different sort of style, stuff happens. But, Ruah adjusted and now Ellingson's made some adjustments of her own."

O'Dell: "And, she's making hay from those adjustments, again causing the brunette all sorts of problems, not allowing Daniela to get off the defensive. Ellingson maintaining that long range and a steady rate of fire, taking full advantage of both. Ruah reduced to the odd counter punch now..."

Cassie: "Can't get off right now. Needs to get these terms changed."

O'Dell: "Not going to happen in this stanza, though. Lindsay has it rolling and she's continuing to roll into the final 30 seconds. Ruah covering up, trying to get some offense going, but not getting that done. Ten seconds left. Sharp right hand from Ellingson and there's the bell. Lindsay wide in the third."

Tess: "And, Ellingson's back ahead 29-28."

ROUND FOUR:

O'Dell: "Fourth round and Ruah now working forward with the guard up high. Looking to change those terms, as Cassie suggested. Ellingson looking to circle a little, maintain the range, but Ruah showing good foot work, closing distance. Ellingson giving a little ground now, wants to keep the brunette at punching range."

Cassie: "This is really good stuff from a girl in her first FCBA fight. Of course, she's a VS Angel as we've mentioned, so, she's done plenty of boxing, but, your first time in the Bigs against a girl like Ruah? Again, good stuff."

O'Dell: "And, that stuff is continuing. Ruah getting her offense going in this round, unlike in the fourth, but Ellingson mostly maintaining distance, continuing to box well. Daniela getting a bit more aggressive as the round goes on. She's staying very sound, but pressing down on the pedal just a little more."

Tess: "I've been waiting for Daniela to get physical here. She definitely has the advantage there."

O'Dell: "But, the story so far has been Ellingson's ability to maximize her advantages and to prevent Ruah from maximizing hers. We're under 30 seconds in what's been the second very competitive round in the first four. Good exchange there. Both fighters landed good right hands. And, there's the bell. Close to Ellingson."

McCarthy: "And, this kid has a 39-37 lead after four."

ROUND FIVE:

O'Dell: "Ellingson right back to the long poke to start the fifth. It isn't broken, and she doesn't have any intention of fixing it. Ruah again increasing the aggression in this round. Still sound. Still not forcing anything, but she's determined to get her offense going, and she's managing to do a bit more of that."

Cassie: "But, still, Lindsay able to hold her own. We've said it several times, but this is good stuff from the blonde."

O'Dell: "Most certainly is...AND THERE'S GOOD STUFF FROM RUAH! A nasty right hand and Ellingson is hurt! Daniela right to work now, backing Lindsay up with a series of heavy flurries. The blonde giving ground, covering up, trying to stay off the ropes, but no dice. Ruah's got her trapped now..."

McCarthy: "Don't want to be where she is right now."

O'Dell: "Most certainly not, but that's where Lindsay finds herself as Ruah's beginning to tee off, landing hard right after hard right. Ellingson able to ship them so far, but she won't be able to do it much longer, I suspect. Ruah hooking some body, looking to bring down the guard. Ellingson not buying. Hanging on and she makes the bell. Ruah wide in the fifth..."

Tess: "But, Ellingson still leads 48-47."

ROUND SIX:

O'Dell: "Second half of the fight starts with Ruah in offensive mode. The brunette looking to finish now. Blonde giving ground, jabbing for space, looking to run some clock and get the legs back under her. Daniela's seen this act before and she's not having it. She's pressuring heavily, forcing Lindsay back, looking to bring her to battle..."

McCarthy: "Ellingson playing this very smart. Tying up Ruah when she gets too close..."

O'Dell: "Daniela shoving off and DROPPING THE BLONDE WITH A RIGHT HOOK! Lindsay dropped to her right side after a truly nasty punch! Ruah to a neutral corner. Count at three. Four. Five. Six. Ellingson sitting up. Seven. Eight. Blonde going to beat it. She's to her feet at nine. Referee gives her the mandatory and ON COMES RUAH..."

Cassie: "This could be the longest two minutes of this girl's life..."

O'Dell: "Daniela immediately all in. She's got Ellingson pinned to the ropes and she's giving her a serious working over. Lindsay leaning back in a high guard, trying to roll with. RUAH A STRAIGHT RIGHT and Ellingson nearly goes down. Ruah winging away and IT'S OVER! Referee has seen enough! He bundles Lindsay to safety, and your winner by TKO6 is Daniela Ruah!"

Tess: "Good call, Mac?"

McCarthy: "Absolutely. Kid was hurt and couldn't defend herself."

AFTER:

O'Dell: "Let's go up to the ring and Tess Valmore!"

Tess: "I have our winner, Daniela Ruah, and, Dani, she's tricky in there..."

Daniela: "Very long and has a bit of an odd style. But, it's more than that. She's a good boxer. Add that to the length, and she can cause people problems."

Tess: "You solved them, though..."

Daniela: "No question I have more power, and that was always how I was going to win the fight. I had to square her up and bring the hurt. When that happened, she was going out of there one way or the other."
