BEFORE: It didn't take long for Imogen Thomas to raise the Kate Lawler's grudge contest bet. The former Miss Wales & ex-BBU champion was openly challenged into a personal battle for supremacy and while she's lost six of her last seven fights, she's too experienced to allow a relative newcomer Lawler catch her in a weak spot.

This is where Natasha Marley steps in; the Norwich-born adult model has flirted with both bantam & lightweight divisions before however hasn't won since her BBU debut vs Liz McClarnon back in December 2012. That's as promising as it gets for Imogen who vows to break her lousy streak and enter the Lawler grudge contest on the highest note possible.

BBU TV's Charlie Webster calls it a "desperation plan" and she's probably right, Imogen got caught out with the Lawler challenge but on the other hand it's important to keep the schedule alive. A mother of two and on a clear BBU slide, Thomas isn't perhaps the biggest player in town anymore so fighting free agents like Marley is the only solution to make the headlines.

Imogen Thomas wears a violet basque top with black trim, black knickers and silver gloves. Long brown hair in loose waves. Natasha Marley wears a pink bikini set with black trim and pink gloves. Long blonde hair straight. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the bantamweight division.

Round 1:
Natasha enters the fight with a cheeky smile on her face; she knows her opponent is very much under pressure to perform and rattled by Kate Lawler's recent comments so it's probably predictable the early running belongs to the blonde who picks the Welsh lass off in mid distance and loops several clean punches over the top to keep Imogen at bay. The brunette tries to square up to the younger girl but gets whooped back with a piercing hook on the nose and fails to embrace the following leather rush that enables Marley to stick her mitts right between her foe's arms to stagger her in the center of the ring. Imogen does well enough not to fade back onto the ropes but misses a wild swinging approach aimed at the blonde's head and sinks on soft knees when Natasha cleans out her breadbasket in the dying seconds of the round.

Round 2:
Imogen keeps misfiring over the top and allows Natasha to dwell on picking her off from point-blank range instead. The blonde settles in with a steady jabbing rush that dumps the Welsh girl on her heels and unable to mount a solid response until she finally locks a clinch just to stop the Norwich model's progress. However Marley shows some strenght and wrestles the brunette back to the turnbuckle where she drills her navel and makes Imogen scowl in pain; it's a shocking fall from grace according to Charlie Webster as the ex-champion allows a free agent journeywoman to bully her around the ring and Thomas can only drag herself into another clinching respite that does little to wipe the smile off Natasha's face at the bell.

Round 3:
Natasha shows supreme footwork and dances around the hapless brunette who barely grazes her flesh in the opening minute before finally jumping into a head hunting combo that immediately exposes Imogen's woeful guard. The brunette's head snaps back repeatedly amid painful squeals but as much power as Marley puts behind her shots, she fails to really nail the older girl with that one big punch and then eats a desperate recovery cross as Thomas hits the survival mode and lashes out in the dark... she actually slams Natasha on the nose and wobbles her forward so she can add a gut-checking hook on the boobs and make Marley slide against her waist. A sudden change of the script allows the Welsh lass to pummel the exposed ribcage and dump the blonde onto the ropes where a scything cross on the nose keeps Marley trapped and covering up behind a tight earmuff as Imogen rains punches all over her making heavy progress against the odds. She has to be wrestled back by the ref at the bell but even Charlie Webster looks mildly surprised over this late Welsh rally.

Round 4:
Imogen got a little lucky in the previous round but she's found a new boost of confidence and rips into the blonde's guts straight from the bell which removes the smile from Natasha's face for good. Before the Norwich model can properly react to the uptempo assault, there's Thomas peppering her ribcage and wobbling her backwards; a wild hooking swing misses the head by miles and Imogen jumps into a close range dominance; she slaps Marley's midriff so frequently, the younger woman bends forward with a loud ache and can only think of a clinching respite that ends in misery when the brunette blasts her with a double uppercut drive on the chin and sends her spinning back to the ropes. Both women jump at each other with a right-on-right collision plan but allthough Natasha bounced off the ropes with more spring load, she still gets caught first and Imogen tears the skin under her left eye which immediately renders the blonde into aching spasms... cue in another gut-checking drive that dumps her butt-in-ropes and the Cardiff audience roars in delight at the bell.

Round 5:
Natasha looks a little hurt to the body and she's no longer the faster of the two across the canvas; what's worse though, this enables Imogen to stick plenty of leather in close range and shut the blonde off in the center of the ring before another drilling uppercut shatters the high guard and swivels Marley's head back & forth. Suddenly Imogen finds herself landing all the strikes in this contest as Natasha's close range struggles are well documented... losing streak or not, the Welsh lass has enough experience under her belt to bulldoze a hapless opponent back to the ropes with ease and when she clips the blonde's rack that only increases the moaning volume... Marley needs to kickstart this fight any which way but she allows Thomas to land more crisp uppercuts and badly expose the high guard... well, if one gets blown away by Jenny Frost there's not much skill there after all and Imogen thumps the blonde's cheeks into a swollen mess come the final minute adding more misery to the gash she handed Natasha in the previous round already. Charlie Webster is shocked to see the Norwich model tail off so badly here and wonders if there's anything left in her now?

Round 6:
Imogen just rips a left cross on the nose to begin the sixth and stacks Natasha up on the spot before another powerful uppercut sends the blonde's guard astray... a left hook on the temple onlu shuts the blonde's eyes so a right hook on the chin completes the furious start AND RAGDOLLS THE ACHING MARLEY DOWN ON HER BACK... that's less than ten seconds from the bell and the Cardiff audience goes wild with Imogen blowing kisses left, right and center already... Natasha fends off the tears as she tries to get back on her feet and that's a brave girl, she's up at seven and nods back to the ref only to keep her gloves low enough for Thomas to resume the facial pounding seconds after the command... the crowd urges their girl to roast the Norwich model now and Imogen duly obeys as she batters Natasha's face into another deep cut under the other eye before drilling her eyes straight out of the orbit with a brutal uppercut combo on the chin... Marley's eyes bawl out and she bounces into the ropes looking very numbish but Thomas still slams her on the left ear to remove the last ounce of consciousness from the departing woman... NATASHA HITS THE DECK HARD ON HER SIDE and she was out of her senses before she even made contact with the boards... KO6 Imogen Thomas in lights out fashion!!!

AFTER: The victorious Welsh girl couldn't care less about the fallen blonde aside from planting her foot on her hip and posing for the cameras... "Just take this trash back to Norwich! They got relegated this season AGAIN so she fits the second-tier line-up perfectly! What a tool!"

Charlie Webster reminds the BBU TV viewers that this "tool" dominated the cocky brunette for over two rounds but it's the end result that matters the most. And Imogen has shown enough courage and determination to rally back into contention and finally blow Marley away to bits. However major improvements will be required when Kate Lawler hits town within the next few weeks. Because the blonde wrecked Billie Faiers in far superior fashion last week and wouldn't be scared off by Imogen's performance tonight. The Cardiff Arena can celebrate the Welsh victory as much as they want to but unless Thomas literally pounds Lawler senseless in their projected grudge fight, the questions over the former Miss Wales' current status will linger on.

One last word about poor Natasha, the otherwise very attractive adult model just can't buy a break in BBU and is set to become regular cannon fodder to supreme opponents looking for a morale-boosting victory. There's plenty of those available but Charlie thinks she can name few girls that would succumb to the Norwich blonde as well. The only problem for the free agent is to pick them off rather than chase easy appearance fee from household stables like the Kear's Kats tonight.
