BEFORE: Allthough Spanish-born, model Laura Balliares is based in Italy these days where she works for the Juventus Turin TV channel and enters BBU competition hoping to repeat the club's elite results and become a household name in the lightweight division. However those plans were openly criticized by former Miss Italy Miriam Leone who wants to give the Spanish brunette a rough introduction to female celebrity boxing world and break her own lousy streak that saw her lose her last four fights in a row.

Laura Balliares wears a violet bikini set and white gloves. Dark brown hair tied in a high ponytail. Miriam Leone wears a white bikini with red trim and red gloves. Red hair in loose waves. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the lightweight division.

Round 1:
Laura hopes to settle in with single hand approach but Miriam digs into her experience and quickly moves into slicing the brunette's guard which enforces the close range assault that the redhead can thrive on. She slams repeated punches into Laura's face and reels her towards the ropes, the Spanish model struggles to embrace the Italian power supply and only bellows out behind a tight earmuff which switches Leone's targets thereafter. The redhead slams a jabbing series on the body and Laura's scowls when she begins to soak up the heat but offers little back and allows Miriam to clean out her tummy in very confident fashion.

Round 2:
Miriam squares up to her slow moving opponent and sets up another overhand drive but when Laura catches her with a scything hook on the temple, she loses her momentum and wobbles into a sudden uppercut attack that snaps her head back a couple of times. Balliares looks surprised she made those shots count and rips another hook on the temple but Leone finally regains her composure and immediately begins to power ahead with supreme jabbing up the middle. Laura caves in behind another high earmuff but leaves exposed midriff again and Miriam's too experienced not to take advantage of that hole. She harpoons around the brunette's elbows and stacks her up in the center of the ring but fails to land that money shot before the bell and only wobbles the Spanish model back to the ropes in the end.

Round 3:
Laura realizes she has to somehow put the redhead under pressure but her initial charge in the third bounces off the high guard and she just can't duck the powerful right handed counter that slams her on the temple moments later. Leone leans on the front leg and throws more facial assault that dissects the brunette's defence and allows her to stack the older woman up in the center of the ring again. Laura begins to squeal in her efforts to shake off the redhead's heat but gets nailed on the solar plexus in a hectic close range exchange and drops to her heels which only results in more trouble. The redhead peppers her torso with a jabbing series and does exceptionally well to trap her along the ropes however the lack of a proper haymaker means that allthough Miriam secures another round on points, she just can't really hurt the Spanish rookie yet. And sooner or later that's gonna make her very annoyed according to Charlie Webster.

Round 4:
Balliares locks an early clinch to prevent Leone from another quick start but the Italian pounds the brunette's midsection regardless and wrestles her back to the ropes. However Laura's too committed to the stalemate tactics and refuses to let go of the redhead's waist which leads to a jeering response from the Rome audience. Miriam knows she has the scorecards in control and that's the only reason she doesn't lose her temper but once the proper boxing action resumes in the second half of the round, Laura catches the redhead napping and blasts a left/right cross on the chin before adding a nasty hook on the solar plexus. Miriam wobbles to her heels with a quiet yelp and fails to embrace another left hook that tears the skin under her eye moments before the bell. Ugh! That should throw Leone right off her comfort zone now!

Round 5:
Miriam is FURIOUS over that cut Laura gave her in the closing seconds of the fourth and launches an immediate attack aimed at the brunette's head which splits the guard on the spot and results in Balliares' high ponytail rocking all around her neck under the heavy Italian onslaught. The Spaniard simply gets overwhelmed by the ruthless nature of Miriam's attack and staggers on her heels which is enough for the redhead to punish her temples from both sides and shut her eyes down. A quick hook on the boobs makes Laura groan in pain but a blitzing follow up from the left nails her on the jaw AND SENDS CRASHING DOWN ON HER KNEES... that was long overdue for the pageant winner and the she salutes the crowd before yelling at the fallen brunette... Laura fights back the spasms as she slumps onto all fours and takes her time before getting up at eight. She still looks clearly rattled by that vicious series from the opponent and Miriam easily pounds her back to the ropes in the closing seconds. She ignores the high earmuff and reverts into scything her body with another jabbing drive that leaves Balliares aching her heart out at the bell.

Round 6:
Laura's resilience might have finally been broken by that knockdown and Miriam secures another head hunting success when she squares up to the slow moving rival and blasts her between the arms which exposed the vulnerable guard seconds into the sixth. She keeps pounding away upstairs and Laura's efforts to clinch the redhead are futile, she gets wobbled to the side and eats a quick hook on the liver before Leone whacks her on the chin and sends the brunette all shimmy shake against the ropes. She traps the Spanish model with another one-two combo over the top and Balliares' mitts just can't stay in tact anymore as Miriam bursts into her mouth with a brutal jabbing series that renders the older woman numb on the ropes. The dark ponytail begins to swivel all over the place and when Laura's arms collapse by her side THE REF STEPS IN AND HAULS LEONE OFF HER PREY... no need to destroy a fine looking model on her BBU debut no less... TKO6 Miriam Leone!!!

AFTER: The Stadio Olimpico would have loved to see the former Miss Italy pound a sexy Spanish model out of her senses - just to make her pay for accepting the Juventus TV job in first place - but Charlie agrees with the stoppage since there was little Laura could do about Miriam tearing her apart. And there's no point in shattering a rookie's confidence on her debut after all. Not everyone can become the next Elisabetta Gregoraci and walk straight from the street into a KO victory but it's clearly too early to tell whether Balliares has what it takes to keep herself relevant in the unforgiving world of female celebrity boxing.

On the other hand Miriam Leone hasn't exactly set the BBU on fire despite numerous opportunities but she punished the brunette newcomer badly tonight - albeit after a very slow start - and should secure more work in the imminient future. She might not look far anyway since the upcoming model/WAG clash between Melissa Satta and Federica Nargi provides enough evidence to keep both the redhead & the partisan Italian crowd glued to the TV sets.
