BEFORE: A couple of very exciting Italian models are set to rock the Stadio Olimpico next and Melissa Satta steals all the pre-fight headlines by saying that she's even better BBU prospect than Elisabetta Gregoraci which is a VERY bold statement for someone about to make her competitive debut. The girlfriend of AC Milan winger Kevin-Prince Boateng shows a lot of confidence and makes fellow model & TV showgirl Federica Nargi question her sanity and promise to give her a real nightmare in the ring tonight.

Nargi is a Rome-born girl - and a life partner of another footballer Alessandro Matri, currently on loan from AC Milan to Lazio no less - so she has the crowd support here tonight even though Satta looms as a bigger name on the Italian glamour scene. The 30 year old has featured in the Sports Illustrated Body Paint edition together with Sarah Brandner and Abbey Crouch ahead of the 2010 World Cup and Charlie Webster believes the US-born Italian will try to crash the long awaited German/English contest which seems like the main reason behind her BBU arrival.

Satta refuses to touch gloves with Nargi before the fight and vows to smash her pretty face to a pulp; Federica looks stunned by the lack of respect she's been shown even before the first punch is landed and that affects her confidence a little. So much for that nightmare script, honey?

Melissa Satta wears a cream bandeau bikini with black trim and white gloves. Light brown hair in loose waves. Federica Nagri wears a white bandeau bikini with pink & red stripes and golden gloves. Long black hair straight. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the lightweight division.

Round 1:
Melissa wastes no time whatsoever and hammers into the brunette's guts from the opening bell which clearly catches Federica by surprise. The younger girl fails to embrace the initial jabbing drive and wobbles forward when her opponent spikes her on the ribcage before slumping on her knees after a nasty shot on the liver. Satta leans forward so much she nearly headbutts the Roman model and the ref has to separate them already correctly spotting that Melissa probably doesn't care if she causes any (un)intentional damage to her opponent. Federica reverts into some quick footwork thereafter and stays clear of the fellow model's swinging approach but Melissa just keeps pushing forward and tracks the brunette into the corner where she thumps a left/right combo that splits Nargi's gloves and snaps her head back right at the bell. Ref grabs Satta's arm before she can add further punishment and she really doesn't care about the rules here since she asks the man in charge why he pulled her back all of the sudden!

Round 2:
Federica throws a couple of promising hooks over the top but then eats a brutal left cross on the nose and sags on her knees while Melissa romps her to the chest and wobbles her forward into a piercing uppercut series that makes the younger woman yelp in pain. Satta delivers a half-uppercut assault to shatter her opponent's guard and dumps her on the heels with another hook on the solar plexus. Federica tries to jump back to the ropes but doesn't have the quickness neccessary to avoid Satta BLASTING her across the mouth again and tearing the lower lip into a blood-seeping reality. The Roman brunette scowls in pain while she tries to gather her thoughts but there's no time for that in the ring, honey! SATTA DRILLS HER with a brutal hook on the ear AND SENDS TUMBLING DOWN ON HER BACKSIDE... Not much joy in the crowd after that one! The local favorite eats a rocket blast and is left sitting on the canvas in utmost shock... she gets back up at eight but shows no signs of rallying back into contention and Melissa cleans out her guts for remainder of the round as she clearly enjoys punishing the fellow rookie and seemingly wants to drag this personal display of fury for a little longer. Not much wrong with that according to Charlie Webster!

Round 3:
The swelling on Nargi's lip grows larger during the interval but she tries to pump herself back into this one; Satta welcomes her with another powerful drive up the middle and this time catches the chin which leads into the brunette's head rocking from side to side as her high guard collapses in wake of that heavy onslaught. Melissa staggers her in the center of the ring but settles into pounding away at the body - ignoring the otherwise leaky high guard in the proccess - and that's more than enough to send Federica butt-in-ropes half way through the round. The younger model fails to escape the trap and can only hope for a clinching respite but Melissa makes sure that's not the case and just lays into the hapless brunette which even makes Charlie Webster cringe when she hears the Nargi's loud squeals. Talk about getting nasty here! Satta barks and yells out at her foe but there's nothing back from the Roman model and perhaps it's time for a mercy killing already? Federica looks totally out of ideas as she soaks up a pillar-to-post pounding which only adds to her rookie misery.

Round 4:
Nargi knows she must prevent a Satta whitewash any which way and thankfully, she still has some vicious spark left in her. Meanwhile Melissa begins to show boat in the ring and approaches the brunette with her arms dropped by the side - almost teasing Federica into any sort of attack... Be careful what you wish for! Nargi rips a left cross on the nose and adds a low strike on the guts which immediately makes the Rome crowd cheer for more action but Satta's quick to put out the brunette fire and blasts her across the lips to wobble Federica back on her heels. A flurry of punches up the middle reels the younger model back and Nargi spends the next several seconds dancing around on her feet while Melissa engages more power and tries to blow her away with seemingly a single punch. That's an old rookie mistake and no wonder the plan doesn't work as Nargi shows plenty of quick feet and avoids more trouble; on the other hand that only increases the ammount of anger inside Satta who argues with the referee over God knows what exactly! Charlie Webster doesn't speak Italian...

Round 5:
Federica tries to see out her opponent's wrath but her bendy attitude only works as long as Melissa finally lands that first punch of the round. She nails the brunette on the lips and adds a left cross on the nose which immediately rocks her to the side. The response goes wide of the mark and Satta blasts her with a piercing jab on the solar plexus before adding another hook on the liver area. Nargi just wobbles forward with eyes closed and gets poled with an uppercut on the rack which makes her yelp again. Melissa whacks her with a right hook on the ear and that's simply too much for the Roman model WHO SLIDES DOWN ON HER KNEES and bends her head against the canvas as she tries to catch her breath. Satta stares down her fallen rival before walking slowly back to her corner; Nargi takes another eight count before getting up but she's really taking a ton of punishment here and looks very fragile as Melissa runs at her after the command to resume the facial assault. This time the lanky brunette just can't hope for another lucky break and Satta rips her lips into a bloody mess while pounding away in ferocious fashion... she renders the fellow model into a training dummy and finally blows her away with yet another left hook on the nose that slumps Federica into knockout daze... the otherwise cute brunette just SLIDES DOWN ON HER KNEES with eyes closed and rolls to her left side - the ref waves it off on the spot and raises the winner's hand in the air. KO5 Melissa Satta!!!

AFTER: Charlie Webster admits she is impressed by the way Melissa finally wrecked Federica after showing plenty of promise since the opening bell. However any solid BBU gatekeeper could potentially expose her short fuse and lack of proper tactical approach. Sometimes the hunt for a single punch KO isn't the only solution in the ring and when Satta books a fight with a more experienced opponent, she could learn the rules of the trade the hard way - and that despite being quite the power puncher based on the five round portfolio here in Rome tonight.

The verdict is still out on Federica though, she's displayed the ability to soak up a lot of aggression but never really threatened to beat Melissa but for that lone period in the fourth round where the eventual winner made a clear mistake and allowed her to flex some muscle. She's attractive enough to secure further one-off bouts and the ever popular Page Threes contingent looms large on the scouting schedule but for now she simply needs to recover from tonight's beating and get to learn how many stitches are required - hopefully not a single one - to address those mauled lips. Nonetherless, the Stadio Olimpico gives Nargi a standing ovation as she exits the ring and that brings a smile on her bruised face while Melissa keeps arguing with Maria Grazia Cucinotta over in the VIP stands and Charlie Webster really wishes she'd learned some Italian back in the day.
