BEFORE: Tamsin Egerton still hasn't gotten over the fact she was released from the Beever's Babes last year and vows to beat Nicola McLean senseless to once again indicate to Andrea McLean & Denise Lewis they made a cardinal mistake. Tamsin's only 27 and probably the most underrated welterweight around and even Denise van Outen admits that Nicola's cleavage gets more pre-fight coverage than Egerton's revival mission.

Nicola's manager Frankie Cocozza makes sure the spotlight stays on the former Page Threes model and he's enjoying the company of Jesy Nelson here in the Cardiff Arena. The Little Mix singer got blasted out by Louisa Allen earlier this month but looks to be in a much better shape as rubs her hand against Frankie's crotch while the Foxes manager tells everyone how Leigh-Anne Pinnock is ready to blow Louisa Allen away next month!

This shameless Cocozza PR stunt makes Egerton helluva annoyed as her own free agency just doesn't suit the Foxes business style which only makes her more focused on tearing Nicola apart. That's one angry free agent out there and McLean must be careful she doesn't crash into a brick wall here very soon! After all, the Portsmouth-born actress handed her the very first loss on BBU resume back in August 2012 already.

Long blonde hair tied in a loose bun at the back of her head. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the welterweight division.

Round 1:
Tamsin silences the Foxes camp with her opening drive as she rips immediate jabbing series on the chest and wobbles Nicola to her heels before blasting her across the mouth for a good measure. McLean tries to swing back from the back foot but needs to find her balance first and catches nothing but thin air while the actress delivers a nasty cross on the nose AND SENDS THE FELLOW BLONDE DOWN ON HER BACKSIDE inside the opening twenty seconds of the bout. Ugh! Talk about a wake-up call for Frankie who nearly drops Jesy Nelson off his lap as he jumps to his feet and looks around in complete shock! Nicola's the first one to suffer from this awkward feeling as she gets back up at seven and verbally abuses the actress but it's time for some real fireworks now as her pride took the hardest hit of all. She launches herself into Egerton's path only to bounce off the high guard and meet a scything cross on the nose which allows the actress to pursue further shots upstairs. Tamsin staggers the model in the center of the ring and buries her under heavy leather but Nicola refuses to buckle and finally tags her foe's mouth with a late jabbing rally. Still, that doesn't help her confidence much because Egerton flies in with more jabs on the body and leaves the model gasping for air at the bell.

Round 2:
Nicola turns up the wick but spends most of the round chasing shadows as Tamsin shows supreme agility and tactical awareness; she's punched a huge hole in her opponent's attire with that first round knockdown already and doesn't need letting it all out at this stage anymore. It's up to McLean to restore parity but her bouncing boobs are her finest contribution in the second as she just can't catch Egerton with her power supply because she's like the improved version of Peta Todd - capable of knocking anyone out with a single punch but woefully slow on her feet most of the time. Tamsin finds no reason to change her plan until Nicola actually forces her to but none of this happens in this round and McLean looks genuinely out of breath after wasting three minutes of her life in a futile pursuit attempt.

Round 3:
Tamsin moves into a steady jabbing rush from the inside and pummels Nicola's jugs again while the Foxes blonde rips a heavy cross on the nose before adding a follow up on the temple. She almost expects Egerton to lose her plot but soaks up a drilling blow to the solar plexus instead as the actress leans on her with more furious leather and pounds back to the ropes. Nicola has to clinch her rival in order to restore her stance but Tamsin fires quick uppercuts on the chest and keeps her trapped against the ropes. She steps back and riffles a left hook on the mouth which sinks the model on the spot and cleans out the breadbasket thereafter which only adds to Frankie Cocozza's anger in the stands. Tamsin stays on top of the close range tussle and rips more jabs against the model's ribcage to sign off a very impressive round.

Rounds 4 & 5:
Nicola loses her temper wholesale and tries to swing back over the top but once again struggles to match her opponent's footwork and allows Tamsin to land repeated jabs on the counter which stagger her in the middle of the ring before the actress pierces the cleavage and really puts McLean's resilience to test. Because of the supreme movement Egerton is allowed to escape the swinging efforts and Nicola wobbles too far forward a couple of times which ends with the fellow blonde clattering into her chin and slumping her butt-in-ropes much to Frankie's dismay. However Tamsin still hasn't found that big punch to send the model down and Denise van Outen begins to wonder how much that first round knockdown has affected her subsequent tactics.

Round 6:
Nicola finally rips a promising combo up the middle and reels Tamsin on her heels before blasting her on the solar plexus to assume control of the close range exchange. She harpoons the fellow blonde's ribcage and seeks more success up the middle, a piercing hook bounces off the rack and finds the jaw which makes Egerton groan on the spot and lose her balance. She drops back to the ropes and McLean lashes out from both sides with a ferocious jabbing haze that nails Tamsin on the brow ridges and leaves her slumped behind a high earmuff at the bell. Perhaps there is still hope for the Foxes camp and Frankie's now fully engaged in supporting Nicola's comeback rather than Jesy Nelson's cleavage. Game on!

Round 7:
Will Tamsin live to regret the post-knockdown tactics after all? She remains the leader on the cards but Nicola enforces the head hunting showdown and rips a nasty cross on the temple to reel the actress back before adding a piercing jab on the solar plexus... AND TAMSIN'S HURT!!! She slumps on the ropes with a loud gaps and fails to react when the model rocks her with a left/right cross moments later... another hook on the navel sets up the uppercut switch which lifts Egerton off her feet AND RAGDOLLS HER TO THE CANVAS with eyes closed... McLean shakes her glove in delight and struts back to Frankie C. while the fallen actress beats the count at seven but has breathing issues herself now... Nicola storms from the opposite side immediately after the command and resumes the head hunting drill with the fellow blonde unable to shake off the knockdown feeling... AND McLEAN SCORES THE HOME RUN when she slams the staggered opponent on the temples before adding another hook on the nose THAT DROPS TAMSIN FLAT ON HER BACK... the Cardiff Arena goes wild and Nicola climbs the ropes already! It's a slow count but Egerton remains down on her back and just can't fight find any reserves in the tank anymore. KO7 Nicola McLean in come-from-behind fashion!!!

AFTER: That's a real kick in the teeth for Tamsin's efforts to make the Beevers entourage look bad. She is a very talented operator but wasted a golden opportunity to promote the free agents into serious title contention at the 130+ lbs division. She scored that fortunate knockdown inside the opening twenty seconds taking full advantage of Frankie Cocozza's dubious PR stunt creating havoc outside the ropes but she just couldn't take Nicola to the cleaners afterwards and paid the biggest price of them all in the end.

Nicola has FCBA experience under her belt but she's passed on the JMD(D) Queendom PPV opportunity next month to focus on the BBU welterweight title which looms like the best decision she's made since crossing the Atlantic two years ago. On the other hand, she remains slightly underrated over in UK probably because of her lads magazine past. Most fans and experts judge the glamour models as genuine punchbags or mere journeywomen and McLean simply defies those odds - even at age 34. Denise van Outen thinks if she didn't transfer to the Frankie's Foxes, she would be a runaway PageThrees roster leader instead of Jessica Jane Clement right now.
