BEFORE: Selena Gomez hopes to join the JMD(D) Queendom cast next month but first she has to take care of Miley Cyrus' social media rampage which questioned Selena's elite prospects despite her rise to a flyweight title bout back in December. Of course Miley herself became FCBA champion unlike her tonight's rival but some pundits think this feud between two long-time Disney Channel frenemies has more to do with Selena's KO8 victory over Miley back in February 2012. They were always judged as perennial rivals and it's really tough to call who's emerged with a better show business revenue at this moment so settling the dispute in the ring seems like the most viable option.

Selena Gomez wears a leopard print bikini and red gloves. Black hair tied in a long ponytail. Miley Cyrus wears a silver & gold themed bikini and yellow gloves. Short blonde hair with a pink strip on the left side. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the flyweight division.

Round 1:
Miley's a natural aggressor most of the time in the ring but her intended jump start on Selena meets a bulletproof guard and shuts her down into futile jabbing from point-blank range. Selena's been a prime target to destroy by most of her peers until she emerged as a real contended which caught many by surprise and she displays tremendous footwork to weave away from Miley's close range stance and loop plenty of promising hooks over the top. Cyrus' aggression backfires on her as she allows too many clean punches to hit her in the final minute which might just deny her the opening round honors.

Round 2:
Cyrus comes back with a swing and nails Selena on the crossing route before adding a hook on the boobs to stack the brunette up in the center of the ring. A flurry of punches then reels Gomez back to the ropes as Miley finally channels the precision neccessary to put her opponent under threat. Selena's lanky frame defies the odds and she manages to escape from the close range heat thereafter but spends too much time backpedalling and only fuels the blonde's anger as the strikes keep adding up and make the Latin vixen a little spooked at the bell.

Round 3:
Miley apparently wants to give Selena an early JMD test before the Queendom bow but she leans too far forward and eats a crunching hook on the jaw that drops her guard and allows the brunette to rally back from close range after all. A couple of nasty hooks find the temples and dump Cyrus on her heels before she clinches the other girl however Gomez wrestles her back to the ropes and shuts down with a drilling hook on the navel. Miley fails to embrace the precarious position and allows Selena to clean out her guts as both girls squeal in their efforts to stay on top of each other late in the going.

Round 4:
Selena finally applies the mid distance pressure and keeps the blonde at bay while swinging dangerously close to the temples. Miley's a veteran in her own right and knows all about the brunette's determination even from their Disney days; Gomez has been written off by so many people thanks to her girl-next-door looks it's become her calling her when dishing out actual punishment. And Miley's defence was never her strong suit which is no surprise given her aggressive demeanour. But Gomey loops her aerial attacks too methodically in the fourth and puts the blonde into a dancing drill before blasting her across the mouth late on; Miley wobbles back against the turnbuckle and is lucky enough the bell saves her from imminient brunette pounce.

Rounds 5 & 6:
Cyrus lags behind on points according to most pundits and she storms into a comeback mission in the fifth, she enforces the close range drill and punishes the brunette to the body with a great effect before a not-so-accidental headbutt catches Gomey on the chin and sends her tripping over her own feet against the ropes. Miley homes in a brutal left cross to cut the brunette's nasal ridge and buries her underneath a leather galore aimed at the guts to close out the one-sided display. Selena caves in behind a high guard and avoids more facial damage but just can't stop the blonde romping her to the gut. The same happens in the sixth; the cut on the nose leaves Selena overprotective upstairs and allows Cyrus to bruise her ribcage badly before another pounding display sends the brunette butt-in-ropes and Miley trying to chop her down in half. Gomez yelps in disarray and sinks on her knees but manages to clinch the bullying blonde late in the round to avoid more trouble. However Miley looks set to even the scores as the bout enters the cliffhanger mode.

Round 7:
Miley comes forward again but looks a little slower on her feet now as Selena ducks & weaves away from trouble which channels some of Odette Yustman's finest moments. The temper is running short on the blonde though but as she tries to add to the nasal injury, she becomes too careless and eats a counterpunching menace in the latter stages of the round. Instead of calming down, Miley leaps back & forth around the brunette trying to take her head off and finally gets caught with a riffle hook on the left temple followed by a thunderclap hook on the right ear. She sinks on her knees on the spot and almost goes down alltogether when Gomey signs off the comeback with a drilling uppercut on the jaw.

Round 8:
Selena remains in mid range comfort zone and lets the blonde wear herself out, the complete game of the brunette has caught many by surprise and it only needed a wiley veteran like Mila Kunis to remove her from the flyweight title reality. Miley's beaten Jessica Lowndes before but she struggles to embrace the supreme stamina and fitness shape of LCA's Beta fighter which in turn allows the brunette to loop more crisp hooks and finally make Cyrus' face look a little more lumped up for a good measure. Miley's feet stay too far behind as she breaths very heavily at the bell and might require a genuine knockdown to neutralize Gomey's counterpunching finesse.

Round 9:
It's all going downhill for the Tennesse native at first but Gomez allows herself one smile too many too early and allthough Miley wobbles forward to meet another uppercut on the jaw, she tags the brunette's boobs again and literally drags her onto the ropes where she jumps into a ribcage frenzy. That finally has to hurt and Selena replaces the smile on her face with genuine yelps as she tries to brawl herself out of trouble but still gets nailed repatedly around the liver area and suffers from ANOTHER headbutt... Miley looks like she want to perform a hip throw on her opponent but backs out of it at the last moments and drills the breadbasket instead; the close range dust up allows her to remain in contention and Selena finally loses the steam and bellows out onto the turnbuckle inside the final twenty seconds with the blonde thumping her back & forth on the guts and leaving visibly sore at the bell.

Round 10:
Both girls are tired now as the see-saw battle enters the last chapter; Miley can't force another close range assault and reverts into single hand slam dunk mode but she's never taking Selena's head off and actually soaks up more strikes as the clock runs down. Gomez remains in control of the mid range and she matches the blonde's fitness to avoid getting trapped with any late haymaker. It's a really tough call here and with no knockdown in sight it's almost a battle of the fittest with the loser only being declared after exhaustion takes over. Nope, we will have to see the scorecards to settle this one and both girls realize that in the final minute. No last hurrah actions and Selena looks particulary relieved she escaped this one with just a nasal cut when Miley threatened to work her right over! At the bell Miley drops her gloves at her knees and doesn't have strenght to even raise her arms in the air while Selena drops back on the ropes and shakes her head at coach Claudia Schiffer. It's a true coin-flipper and neither girl can be assured of the scorecards.

After ten rounds of boxing we go to the scorecards, judges score the bout 95-93, 95-94 and 95-93 all for you winner through unanimous decision... Selena Gomez!!!

AFTER: The smile is back on the brunette's face and she even offers the bitterly disappointed blonde a friendly hug only to be pushed away as Miley wants to exit the arena ASAP! That's one helluva annoyed Tennessee girl out there and even the league officials take cover when she throws away her gloves and heads down for the locker room verbally abusing anyone in sight! Meanwhile Selena's smile beams all around the arena and she confirms her intentions of joining the JMD(D) Queendom schedule in a fortnight's time: "I know it's not ideal to have the next fight so quickly but I'd never let that opportunity pass when I can still become co-Alpha around my stable (winks). Jessica is making the trip and I just couldn't watch it on the telly instead, right? (laughs). Miley's been a friend.. err.. is that a correct word.. well, a friend of mine for years but she did headbutt me TWICE tonight! I really didn't like that! It's a familiar problem for her, she always loses her cool when things are not following her damn script! And I sure made plenty of adjustments to that (laughs). I'm two for two against her and I'd love to beat her up for a third time if she gives me another call! (winks).
