TESS VALMORE

HANRATTY/GRAHAM I hear from my informants up in the Wiz’s suite, that he hadn’t finished his first PBR of the fights when this one ended. Graham won the first round and Hanratty evened it up in the second. Graham unloaded in the third and Hanratty was hurt but managed to finish the round. She didn’t finish the fourth as an uppercut from Graham’s waist put Hanratty down on the canvas for the ten count

ROBERTSON/STEWART I thought there was no way that Robertson would last past five To my surprise, she did. She won the first round, decked Stewart in the second and won the third. Stewart finally got on the cards in the fourth, but Robertson came back to win the fifth, Stewart took the sixth, but Robertson had a good lead going into the seventh. In the seventh Stewart landed a straight right to Robertson chin and down she went. The bout was over with a Stewart KO7

E. BANKS/PINK Banks got off to a good start taking the first two rounds. She should have stopped there. Pink hurt her in the third and landed a left hook to the head in the fourth that sent Banks down to the deck kissing the canvas

FREGE/RAMBIN Rambin won the first two rounds but Frege evened the bout up at the end of four. Rambin rocked Frege in the fifth to take the lead. In the sixth, a straight right landed on the button and Frege was toast. Rambin KO6

PAUSINI/TORV Despite what my mentor. The Wiz, said, I can’t help but feel this was a stay busy fight for Torv. She needed some rounds and I thought she would end the fight when she chose. Pausini took the first two rounds. After that it was all downhill for Pausini who was badly hurt in the fourth. Torv chose to end the bout in the fifth and she did with a booming right hand Torv KO5

SONG/MEESTER The bout was even at two, Song took the third and decked Meester in the fourth, Song followed up by winning the fifth. Meester bit into Songs lead by taking the next three rounds. In the ninth, Meester caught Song with a flurry of punches and Song went down, not to get up
