Before: Always a lot of rivalry between Playmates and Sports Illustrated swimsuit models. Former Playmate of the Year Claire and SI model Samantha being close in age and height are apparently feeling the mutual antagonism. The minute they come onto the stage of the press event (in tight halter tops and short shorts—red and blue with white trim for Claire, white top and black bottoms for Samantha) they start scuffling over which chair to sit in and who will take the podium first. Jennifer Garner and Beth Harnois from Foxfire Boxing come rushing out to separate the pair. This seems to draw the ire of Stephanie McMahon of ES’ parent group Los Ingobernales rushes onto the stage to push the smaller Beth off the stage where she goes head-first to a great trash barrel, Her legs kick wildly until she manages to tip the barrel over and crawl out covered with rather moist garbage. Then Stephanie (herself clad in white blouse and black skirt) rips open the red silk blouse of Jennifer Garner (black dress) exposing a pink bra. Then Jen puts a knee into Steph’s crotch and Steph goes down, but she grabs Jen so that they crash to the stage together. Meanwhile Claire and Samantha are locked up in a shoving/test of strength match until they trip over the thrashing Jen and Steph and fall off the stage, but have their fall broken by landing on Beth Harnois. Security makes a belated appearance and separate the enraged and partially disrobed combatants.

In the interests of the Proper Order, further press conferences between Claire and Samantha are canceled, but statements are issued.

“We have seldom seen such behavior as we saw from Stephanie McMahon and Samantha Hoopes.,” huffs one of Beth Harnois’ press releases.

“I’m gonna knock that snooty SI model clean out of her swimsuit and drag her around the ring by it!” Claire tells her internet followers.

“That Playmate trash thought she could bully me, but I stood up to her. I’m gonna smother her so bad so bad she’ll be begging me to end it!” Samantha lashes out to her supporters.

“Here I always heard Jennifer Garner and Foxfire were class acts—but no, she and those little blonde weasel press agent tried to gang up on poor Samantha. Of course, I defended her even though I was outnumbered. If Security hadn’t shown up when they did Garner would have lost more than some buttons!” Stephanie McMahon declares. “But I’m fair—if she is too cheap to sew her own buttons back on, I’ll have our seamstress do that job for only a couple of bucks. And by the way, from what I saw of ‘em, Jen’s puppies barely qualify for JMDD, but I’ll still fight her if she wants.”

“I’m going to knock that loudmouth’s block off—that’s what I’m going to do!” Jen snapped to Archer News reporter Skip Tracey when he asked her to comment on Ms. McMahon’s remarks.

With all this going on, some began to fear that the actual JMDD boxing match between Claire and Samantha would be overshadowed. Still, there was a lot of added excitement as the two young women took their places between a stern referee to warned them he would tolernate “no nonsense--during the fight.” Claire and Samantha leave off glaring at each other long enough to nod their agreement. Claire in a zebra-striped strapless one piece, black boots with white laces, white gloves with black laces, hair in a simple ponytail. Samantha in a yellow one piece, black gloves and boots (yellow laces). Hair in a single battle braid down her back. A swipe of gloves seems harder than need be, but the two go off to their corners and then bell rings.

R1: Two fighters go straight to juggmugging as they crash into each other in the middle of the ring. Both driving straight rights and lefts to mash mammaries, but then Claire holds hers a fraction of a second to grind the leather in hard to sensitive flesh. Samantha fires uppercuts to blast the undersides of Claire’s twin wonders. Two are taking a lot of pressure, but neither wants to be the first to break off. Then Samantha finds Claire’s gut and pumps a couple of right hooks into it. Claire falls back with a gurgle of pain, but swats Samantha across the chops to startle the blonde and halt the attack. Short pause as the two regroup and then go back at it. Samantha working that gut to take Claire’s attention off her jugg attack. Claire finally backing up behind her jab, which do smack Samantha in the mouth and nose—again bringing the model to a halt. Two then circle and punch at somewhat longer range to the bell. Judges give it to Samantha Hoopes, but its close.

R2: Jennifer Garner in Claire’s corner whispering advice along with Foxfire JMD specialist Dani Fishel. Samantha being tended personally by Stephanie McMahon along with ES teammate Emily Ratajkowski. Both fighters up promptly at the bell and eager to resume the action, but Claire quickly gets control by some hammering hooks to Samantha’s belly that knock the air out of her. Then Claire starts throwing rights and lefts into Samantha’s breasts making them shudder under the bombardment. Samantha obliged to fall back and try to regroup. Claire not exactly crisp in pursuit, but she is dogged and keeps Samantha on the defensive. Samantha able to blunt or duck a lot of Claire’s next shots, but she’s not getting in much punching on her own. No surprise that this round goes to Claire by a wide margin.

R3: Samantha and Claire both apparently told to put on pressure in close. They go toe to toe and just hammer away at each other. Not surprisingly, it is their racks that come under the heaviest shelling, though Claire now starts flicking shots into Samantha’s chin and jaw. This attack quickly slows Samantha’s responses down, but when Claire then tries to move in close, they get into another close-in punching battle. The crowd is thrilled to see those lean bodies straining against each other with all manner of punching crashing into those proud racks. Samantha finding Claire’s chin late with some uppercuts that rattle Claire’s mouthpiece, but she clamps her teeth down on the rubber to keep fighting and drives Samantha back just before the bell. Round goes to Claire Sinclair, but it’s close.

R4: Samantha tries to seize control of this round early. She charges across the ring and feints to Claire’s jugs but throws some driving rights and lefts into Claire’s face. Claire knocked back, but recovers to smack Samantha under the chin to bring her attack to a sudden halt. A brief pause as Claire and Samantha recover, but it passes swiftly and they head right back to each others throbbing bodies. The sound of leather on wet skin and swimsuit fabric taking an almost machine-gun rapidity as the two go all out to break down their respective opponents. Claire smiling in a weird grimace as sweat drips down from her brow. Samantha looking grimmer but she’s meeting Claire’s eyes in a staring contest as they pound each other until finally Claire slips off to one side to dodge the relentless incoming. Samantha eagerly turn with, but Claire fires a barrage of jab that peppers the blonde’s face just as the bell ring. Both fighters now badly banged up, but Samantha looks the shakier as she heads to her ring. Perhaps word she has been awarded the ring by a close margin will help make her mind.

R5: Samantha looks slow and cautious as she comes off her stool. Claire is wary, but determined moves in with a solid series of rights and lefts to Samantha’s breasts. Samantha drops her guard and Claire instantly lashed out with a powerful right cross/left hook to the chin combo. Samantha caught solid, she spins around and then nose-dives into the canvas! Samantha lands butt high, but falls to one side and then sprawls out on her back while the referee is starting his count. Samantha manages to get on all fours but just hangs there as the count goes past her! “YOU’RE OUT!” cries the referee as Claire Sinclair leaps into the air in triumph.

The Winner: Claire Sinclair (KO5)!

After: Claire whooping and hollering in triumph as Jen Garner and Dani Fishel rush in to congratulate her. They then quickly get Claire out of her gloves and the gleefully vengeful Playmate heads over to Samantha. Samantha is still on all fours with referee bending over to check on her. Claire rather rudely pushes the official out of the way and grabs the back of Samantha’s one piece suit. She then yanks it up in a painful wedgie and then drags Samantha’s mostly bare (but sweat slippery) bottom across the ring to the Foxfire corner.

“MY ASS! YOU’RE HURTING MY ASS!” Samantha is wailing.

“Oh, sorry, let me stand you up,” Claire leers and hoists Samantha into a standing position with her back to the Foxfire turnbuckle. Claire then mounts the bottom ropes and grabs Samantha’s hair with one hand as she raises her other arm in victory. Samantha squirming. Claire steps off the bottom strands and then pulls Samantha into her breasts. Smother is long, deliberate and down-right mean as Claire keeps releasing the smother before Samantha has blacked out. Finally, Samantha is out cold, and Claire steps back as Samantha slides down the turnbuckle to end up looking like a puppet with broken strings. Claire then grips Samantha’s swimsuit and tows her back to the Equipo Secundario corner to leave the poor sleeping blonde at Stephanie’s feet.

“Better luck next time, Stephy, maybe you can find someone who’ll give me a better fight,” Claire sneers.

Stephanie looks ready to jump the mocking brunette, but Jennifer Garner and Dani Fishel move up to flank Claire.
“Time for us to go, Claire,” Jennifer says as she and Stephanie shoot daggers at each other with their glares.
“If you say so, Jen—tonight’s party is on ME!” Claire cries and three of them exit as Stephanie and Emily Ratajkowski tend to the dazed Samantha Hoopes.

Quite a battle while it lasted. JMDD fans very pleasedly, though some are heard to complain that they wanted a post-fight catfight between Steph McMahon and Jen Garner. You can’t have everything; they’ll just have to settle for an intensely fought contest with probably Claire’s experience bringing her the victory. As tensions seem to be rising between Jennifer and Stephanie, fans are already debating if the rusty former champion can defeat the more active Los Ingobernales leader. They can rest reassured whatever the future holds for the two—it won’t be dull.
