This match indeed is a sort of trial by fire for the debuting Jessica Gomes. Even though her star has fallen in the United States as of late after not appearing in a few Sports Illustrated Swimsuit editions, she's still popular in Australia and Asia, where she does most of her modeling! At the end of April, she was recruited by Stephanie McMahon to work in her Equipo Secundario group. Training mostly with Stephanie and fellow rookie Genevieve Morton, Jessica has made a lot of improvement in a short time span; which is why Stephanie elected to fight her herself! While Stephanie is more of a smash-mouth fighter, using her weight to cinch into big powerful shots to cover up her age deficits, Jessica is lighter on her feet and more adaptable to the surroundings.

Of course, Stephanie has a late-bloomer career behind her, compared to Jessica's lack of longevity. The fight was agreed upon by both parties to be a bit of a "breather"; for Jessica to have some live ring time in front of a veteran and a live crowd.  As with everything else in this fight, even the attire is simple. Jessica Gomes has a bright orange collection; one-piece swimsuit, gloves, and mouthpiece, with her hair in a fishtail braid. Stephanie McMahon is wearing a busty red sports bra and pitch-black shorts, with crimson gloves and her hair also in a fishtail braid. Jessica has Genevieve Morton in her corner while Stephanie has Nikki Bella in hers.  ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------  

Round 1: Even though the tone of the fight is scientific and friendly, neither woman is in the business of pulling punches here! Gomes pitches the first shot of the fight, a right jab to Stephanie's breasts, which surprises the stable queen! After all, she knew Jessica learned quickly, but not even this quick! A wide-smiled Jessica throws a left, then another right to Stephie's mammaries, before getting shoulder-checked for being too close! She staggers back, giving Stephanie a chance to fire forward and pummel Jessica! But the Asian model ducks out of the way to leave Stephanie hitting thin air, squatting down for a small jab to her abs! Stephanie retaliates with a right jab of her own, barely grazing Jessica as she evades again! Nine years is a lot for evasion, and Gomes is making the most of it!   

Round 2: All that dodging helped Jessica in the last round, but in this round she's drained as a result and unable to move as fast! This makes her a sitting duck for Stephanie, who tosses in right jabs to Jessica's fit body like candy, peppering her with punches. Since Steph isn't going full-force because of Jessica's speed, she can absorb her queen's blows with ease, and attempt to counter with her attacks. Steph is just too long-armed to do that, as Gomes's shots get absorbed while damaging Stephanie's arms. Stephanie wins the round on pure volume of shots.  

Round 3: Genevieve makes sure to support her friend extra well as the fight is tied going into the third round, both fighters putting their dukes up in the center of the ring. Stephanie starts with a string of loose jabs that Jessica guards, before throwing a looping right hand that Jessica also ducks! Despite the last round, it looks like Jessica still has a lot of stamina left in the tank, and she puts it all to good use! She gets out of the way quickly and punishes Stephanie's breasts with long-range punches, using all of her reaches as Stephanie tries to defend, her arms too short to attack from that range. When she tries to come in, Jessica hits a jaw-jacker of a right hand right on Stephanie's chin - and the queen tumbles back! She manages to stay on her feet as Jessica takes advantage and hits Stephanie with another big right on her breasts! Staying near the ropes, Stephanie places her Billion Dollar Booty right in there for stability, putting her gloves up solely for defense. Genevieve cries from the corner for Jessica to back away from the ropes or at least clinch with Stephanie to bring her out where Jess can do her worst damage. Instead, Jessica gets too zealous with power and tries her hardest to break through her queen's defense to no avail, leaving her gassed at the end of the round.  

Round 4: As the round starts and Jessica tries to go for her usual first step, she realizes far too late that she made a horrific mistake last round. Her legs, arms, body are all sluggish and harder to move than ever before; and she feels Stephanie's first punch, a straight left right to the jaw, more than ever. Jessica winces right away, which is Stephanie's cue to open up on her student, both with her fists and voice. "Come on, Jessie! You seemed to love my Billion Dollar Breasts, so let me return the favor! What are yours filled with, Bundaberg?" Stephanie taunts, which brings Jessica out of her comfort zone - Stephanie had NEVER berated her like that before - and Jessica launches some evenly-paced punches. Again, too late for here, since she's weakened to the point that they don't affect Steph, but the opposite is very much true. Stephanie pinballs Jessica around the mat with shockingly heavy jug-mugging blows, and headhunters when Jessica tries to cover up. By the bell, Genevieve is very concerned for her brave friend, while Nikki congratulations her queen on a great round.  

Round 5: Despite Genevieve's best efforts, she can't revive Jessica enough between rounds to stand much of a fighting chance. This is evident since in the first minute, Stephanie hits a left, right, left, uppercut combo on Jessica's jugs that send her sprawling back to the canvas! With a large encouragement from her corner and great effort on her part, she manages to make it up on wobbly legs by 6. Jessica somehow gets a second wind, unleashing the last drops of fuel in the tank in a valiant effort with power punches, but she gets cut off all the way to the ground with a stinging right hook to the cheek! Now completely spent, Jessica takes a solid nap, kissing the canvas as the ref counts all the way to 10!  Your winner: Stephanie McMahon by KO5!

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------  Genevieve Morton runs into the ring right away to console her fallen friend and give her smelling salts while Nikki Bella helps Stephanie disarm. Stephanie whispers in Nikki's ear to head to the back, which she does, then saunters to the center of the ring, where a conflicted Morton looks, torn between protecting her friend and trusting her queen. Steph tells Morton to rise, then gives her a big hug! "You did great in the corner, Mo-Mo. Even better is your concern for your friend in Jessica! You may stay or leave, your choice." "Thank you, Stephanie!" A relaxed Morton responds as she takes a step back to lay on the ropes, alert as to the fate of her sister. Stephanie gently grabs Jessica by the shoulders and hugs her to a favorable crowd reaction! "You did super today, Jessica! I am SO proud of you! If you just listened to Mo-Mo, you might have even knocked me out! Sorry for being harsh on you!" Jessica just looks at Stephanie's eyes, a sense of admiration forming, and digs her face into her shoulder. "It's all okay, queen! I was pretty dumb there." Stephanie sighs.  "It's a rookie mistake. You're okay, sweetie. Since you lost, I need to give you a smother, like it or not! Five seconds sounds good; one for every round we didn't get to. Ready or not, here they come!" Stephanie suddenly pushes Jessica's head forward into her awaiting breasts, shaking it like a Pokeball every second as Genevieve counts down. "..five! Worth every penny, right, baby?" Stephanie exclaims as Jessica totters on her feet, being rescued by Genevieve. The two healthy women carry Jessica to the back, the crowd applauding her brave performance.
