Sky Sports brings you the latest edition of Celebrity Boxing After Dark - live and exclusive from Madison Square Garden in New York.

This is the special UK edition as Cumbria's Roxanne Pallett and Tyne & Wear's Cheryl Cole put the national pride on the line against Connecticut's Jenna Dewan and New York's very own Lady Gaga respectively.

BEFORE: Two petite brunettes are ready to tear each other apart and Jenna Dewan is particulary determined to score a much needed victory which has eluded her for the past couple of years. She has a tough experience fighting British opposition since Michelle Keegan knocked her out back in May of last year but all the experts believe Roxanne Pallett isn't as difficult to overcome and well within the American's grasp tonight.

Of course the 33 year old Cumbrian doesn't share this opinion at all and vows to annihilate the fellow brunette to improve her FCBA record to .500; she comes off a JMD defeat to Jenna-Louise Coleman herself but with the BBU crossover PPV planned next month, this is the last opportunity for the 5'1" actress of Emmerdale fame to make sure she catches the divisional attention again.

Roxanne Pallett wears a red bikini set with white trim and black gloves. Long dark brown hair tied in a custom ponytail. Jenna Dewan wears a yellow bikini set and white gloves. Long black hair straight, tucked behind the ears. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the flyweight division.

Round 1:

Jenna storms into immediate jabbing assault and targets her opponent's head but lacks the precision required to split the English guard and gets countered over the top as Roxy leans on the front legs and looks for a close range success. She peppers the American's midsection but becomes a little too stagnant in her efforts and eats a quick hook on the mouth that enables Dewan to launch another jabbing fury that finally connects with the flesh and snaps Pallett's head back. The English actress briefly wobbles on her heels and just as she tries to deliver another counter from the back foot, Jenna nails her with a left/right cross on the mouth and spins her onto the ropes where she cleans out the tummy and keeps Roxy pinned behind a high earmuff for remainder of the round.

Round 2:

Both girls struggle to make their punches work in a close range tussle early on; Roxy deploys an uppercut series but fails to split the mitts and Jenna bounces off the top of her opponent's head instead of drilling her temples which leads into a lenghty clinch down the stretch. Ref finally separates the two girls and Pallett shows superior agility by beating the fellow actress for a quick hook on the mouth before a looping follow up finds the temples and backs Dewan into the ropes on the spot. More clinching ensues as Jenna struggles to shake off the series and abandons plans of immediate response while Roxy reverts into pounding away at the midriff however because of Dewan's blatant tactics, she can't quite secure more success as the ref also turns a blind eye on the American's questionable efforts.

Round3:

Roxy's really upset over that lenghty clinching struggle in the previous round but wobbles too far forward in the initial approach and gets clubbed with a left hook across the nose to start the third before Jenna rips a belting hook on the navel to reel the English lass on her heels. Both girls lock each other into another close range duell but Dewan drills the fellow brunette's chest more effectively, splitting Pallett's gloves repeatedly in the proccess. The Emmerdale babe begins to yelp in discomfort as Dewan lands too many clean strikes on the mounds yet her aerial response is too predictable and sluggish in execution which enables the American to land more crisp shots on the body that stagger Roxy in the center of the ring. A quick jug-to-jug bump off almost sends Pallett down on the canvas but as she complains to the ref about that move, she gets caught with a left uppercut on the jaw and trips back to the turnbuckle where Dewan lands more looping shots to the ribcage and maintains her advantage much to the crowd's delight.

Round 4:

Pallett keeps losing her temper and even coach Gail Kim can't calm her down anymore; Jenna dwells on the mental edge she's developed on rather short notice and loops steady hooking assault which splits the English guard a little too often for Roxy's comfort. The Madison Square Garden audience cheers after every Dewan shot snapping Pallett's head back even if some of them only bounce off the gloves and give the wrong impression. Suddenly the American looks satisfied with a mid range stance but the lack of Roxanne's production aids the new tactical approach more than anything else and when the Emmerdale brunette wobbles too far forward again, she drops into wobbly butt mode as Jenna blasts her on the lips and adds a piercing left hook on the eye. Roxanne must seek a clinching respite herself now but Dewan shoves her into the turnbuckle regardless and signs off the action with another ribcage busting rally that leaves Pallett gasping for air with eyes closed at the bell. Quick look at the cards and the American is clearly ahead, 39-37.

Round 5:

"You're no match for that Keegan chick, tramp!", Jenna tries to extend her mental edge over the frustrated English lass but actually plays with fire here as Roxy isn't broken down physically and launches another spirited attack aimed at the American's head in order to pull back the score on the cards. She nails the arrogant Jenna on the lips with a double combo and ducks underneath a looping response before bursting into her cleavage with an uppercut rally that wobbles Dewan on her heels. The American dominated the body assault in the earlier stages of the fight but she gets lured into a head hunting dust up which gives her far less success and enables Pallett to smack her mouth into a swollen mess down the stretch topped by a belting hook on the liver area that bends Jenna into a moaning frenzy. Another clinching effort comes up short though since Roxy riffles more uppercuts on the rack and reels her foe butt-in-ropes where she rains unanswered punches straight through the guard and leaves Jenna scowling in pain and sagging visibly on soft knees at the bell. Sky Sports' Charlie Webster claims this was Roxy's best showing yet and there's still hope for a valuable English victory in front of a packed MSG house!

Round 6:

Dewan quits the teasing part and gets down to business, she leaps into immediate hooking frenzy but fails to connect with Roxy's face and for once loses her balance with the English babe ripping a nasty cross on the nose in response and making the fellow brunette moan in pain on the spot. Jenna struggles to find her footing after that strike and suddenly eats a jabbing rally from point-blank range as Pallett leans on the front (left) leg and drills her opponent's face with the American guard collapsing badly... a left hook on the ear opens Jenna's eyes really wide but she fails to raise her gloves in time for a jaw shattering follow up... perfect swing from Roxy and off comes Jenna's gumshield flying to the left... the chin slumps between the shoulders and poor Dewan doesn't even see the right hook that squashes her lips into jelly... DOWN GOES JENNA.. the knockdown silences the MSG but as Dewan collapses into complete heap on her left side it quickly gets only worse for her as she can't shake that vicious combo off and remains horizontal on the canvas when the count reaches ten! KO6 Roxanne Pallett in come-from-behind fashion!!!

AFTER: Roxanne loses her temper again and screams out at the fallen and completely dazed opponent but coach Gail Kim prefers to celebrate the hard-fought success rather than dwell on Jenna Dewan's sudden demise. The American was still ahead on the cards at half-distance but totally lost her plot and was smoked into a KO disaster any flyweight in the world would be proud of! What an achievement this is for Pallett & her entouarge! Some naysayers were already looking to send her back to England to mirror Samia Ghadie's less than spectacular crossover career but the Cumbrian sexpot is far from being done on this side of the pond!

Roxy remains angry over that Michelle Keegan comment and wants to smother Dewan senseless regardless of the medical team's efforts to revive the fallen American but Gail Kim reminds her that this isn't the Main Event after all and apparently most of the audience actually prefers to see Lady Gaga wreck Cheryl Cole next. "I'm not some random undercard bimbo here!", Roxy pleads her case but she'll have to wait for the next edition of Boxing World Magazine's rankings to see if tonight's success raised her stock around the country. Whether she likes it or not, Gaga & Cole still sell out more tickets and deserve the Main Event attention wholesale.

Final result: Roxanne Pallett def. Jenna Dewan KO6.
