BEFORE:

"I'm better than people think," says a hard-eyed Anderson. "I just need opportunities to prove it. I've got a big one tonight. And, I'm going to take advantage!"

"She's a girl who can do some things," says Jane with a nod. "Tonight, though, she can't do enough things."

ROUND ONE:

O'Dell: "Back at ringside and that's 'Carry Me' by the Bombay Bicycle Club..."

McCarthy: "The who now?"

O'Dell: "The Bombay Bicycle Club..."

McCarthy: "Well, that makes sense. Anderson's from India, so it's natural she'd come to ringside to a song about bicycles in Bombay..."

Tess: "She is NOT from India, she's from INDIANA, and the song is not about..."

Cassie: "It's the first fight, BFF. This could go on all night..."

Tess (sighing): "Good point."

O'Dell: "If we could stop infringing on my gimmick and concentrate on the ring, where the lovely young lady in question, Nicole Gale Anderson, is climbing in to be helped off with the robe..."

McCarthy: "I LIKE that bikini. White with floral trim. Very cute. Not a bad body either. Not 'Playboy' material, of course..."

Cassie: "HERE we go..."

McCarthy: "Shut UP, Scabbo!"

O'Dell: "Aaannnndddd that's 'Pleasant Nightmare' by Alih Jey, and that can only mean that 'The Marin County Marauder', Jane Levy is on her way to ringside."

Tess: "Seems like we say this every time Jane appears on an Asylum card, but, she's off to a very good start at Front Street and management is very pleased at how her development is going."

McCarthy: "Management here wouldn't know a fighter from a can of tuna."

O'Dell (sighing): "Levy into the ring and helped off with the robe by Jewel and Neve. She's wearing that peach number we've seen before. And, it's time for some picks. Tess favors Jane. Mac?"

McCarthy: "This Anderson kid actually HAS an FCBA win. It was over Ghadie, so it almost shouldn't count, but, she has one. I'm going with Anderson!"

O'Dell: "Cassie?"

Cassie: "I agree with Tess!"

O'Dell: "And, we're underway. Anderson quickly bouncing and circling. We've seen this from her before. Likes to create movement, then spring forward for a quick flurry. Levy has different ideas. She's not going to circle with. She's pressuring, stalking, forcing the brunette to give ground. Anderson doing that..."

McCarthy: "And snapping jabs. She's got a good pair of legs on her. Moves well."

O'Dell: "That, she does. But, Levy quite the athlete herself, and you can see that in her footwork. She's cutting the ring, getting some leather on, forcing Anderson to cover up and work hard to slip away. The brunette managing to do it quickly, though, and gets back to the stick and move, again behind that jab."

Cassie: "Levy taking away the pounce, though. Using the pressure to keep Nicole on her back foot."

O'Dell: "That, she is. Jane not getting a ton done this round, because Anderson's moving very well, but she's absolutely dictating terms here, and that's half the battle in a situation like this. Anderson backed up again, takes a good flurry from Levy. Fires back with one of her own, and there's the bell. Close first to Jane."

ROUND TWO:

O'Dell: "Second begins with a complete change of tactics from Anderson. Nicole pouring forward now and she's all over a surprised Levy! All of a sudden, it's Jane backing and covering, being forced to retreat by the sheer volume of punches coming from the brunette. Anderson a buzz saw in there, Mac..."

McCarthy: "And, Weirdo's trainers should have prepared the kid for this! We saw tactics just like this from Anderson in her last fight!"

O'Dell: "We did, and she caused some serious problems for Dakota Fanning with them, at least for awhile, and she's causing similar problems for Levy at the moment. Jane on her back foot, much like Nicole was last round, completely thrown over to the defensive. Anderson just firing off flurry after flurry."

Tess: "She's not exactly landing a high percentage of these, Jenny, but she's landing enough to keep Jane on her heels."

O'Dell: "Levy landing a counter here or there, but mostly preempted. She's trying to stabilize her front here, but having no luck doing it. Anderson's aggression carrying the day as the final seconds tick off in the second round. There's the bell, and what a turnaround. Anderson wide in the second."

Cassie: "And, we're even at 19 after two."

ROUND THREE:

O'Dell: "Anderson right back after Levy to start the third, but Jane holding ground now, firing back and we've got ourselves a serious firefight in the middle of the ring. Crowd getting into it now as heavy exchange follows heavy exchange with both fighters trying to grab control of this thing and neither willing to give it up."

Cassie: "Sooner or later, somebody's going to take a backward step. But, it just might be later."

O'Dell: "That's certainly the way it looks. Both fighters taking heavy shell but shipping well, holding ground, returning fire. Nothing at all to the body. This is ranged warfare like we often see at lightweight or welter, both fighters extending on their punches, sitting down on them, looking to land something big."

McCarthy: "And, that's as much for respect and control as it is for a knockdown."

O'Dell: "Things have hung in the balance the entire round and they continue to do so. Neither fighter able to claim the field and both fighting hard to do it. They haven't slowed a bit as we reach the final ten seconds of the round. Good right, Anderson BETTER right from Levy. That backed Nicole up a single step and there's the bell. Close. Jane."

Tess: "And, she's back on top, 29-28."

ROUND FOUR:

O'Dell: "Into the fourth and right back to the firefight. Neither of these two flyweights is going to back down. Levy determined not to allow a repeat of the second round and Anderson just as determined to create one. Jane a SOLID right hand there and a GREAT COUNTER FROM NICOLE AND LEVY'S ROCKED!"

Cassie: "That's the punch Anderson was looking for!"

O'Dell: "And Nicole is all in now, she's winging away at Jane, driving her against the ropes and giving her a beating. The brunette looking to end this thing, throwing everything she has at the wobbly redhead. Jane covering up, hanging on, trying to roll with punches, but Anderson has the referee's attention..."

McCarthy: "Levy's got to start doing something here or even Weirdo's hand-picked referee's going to stop this..."

O'Dell: "The brunette pouring on the fire. Jane jabbing back in spots, but mostly keeping the guard high, playing defense, hanging on. We're down to 20 seconds left in the round. Anderson trying to find the 'off' switch before time runs out. Jane tying up now, running some clock. Ten seconds left. A final flurry by Anderson, but it won't be enough. Levy survives, but Nicole wins it in a shutout."

Tess: "And, evens things at 38."

ROUND FIVE:

O'Dell: "Anderson immediately forward to start the fifth. She's looking to clean up on the redhead. Levy giving ground. Doesn't look to have the legs all the way back under her and Nicole taking advantage. Jane again on the defensive, working the counter, and NEARLY DROPPING NICOLE WITH A RIGHT HAND!"

Cassie: "GREAT counter-punch! Straight right and Anderson's legs did a shimmy!"

O'Dell: "And, this thing has turned on a dime again! Now it's Levy forward, backing up Anderson with quick jabs and well-placed follow on right hands. Nicole giving ground, slowly being worked back to the ropes, and now she's pinned to the cables and Levy going body in a big way! Jane working the ribs and abs now..."

McCarthy: "Ought to be going for the finisher rather than doing body work."

O'Dell: "Jane working upstairs, then back down. Anderson determined to keep the guard high, so Jane's going to take advantage and pound her downstairs until she drops it. Levy working the head just enough to keep the brunette honest. It's mostly nasty, thumping stuff to the midsection and the ribs. Anderson taking the shell amidships and hanging on. Just five seconds to go. Solid right to the head by Jane and there's the bell. Levy wide."

Tess: "And, Jane's back in the lead, 48-47."

ROUND SIX:

O'Dell: "Levy is after Nicole to start the second half. Anderson now the one without the legs all the way back, but, she's using what she has. Brunette trying to back and circle, keeping the guard high. Levy stalking, using the left jab as cover fire for a sound advance. Jane looking to at least consolidate here, Mac..."

McCarthy: "At the very least, but she needs to be looking to finish. Spent too much time on the body last round. Now's the time to get after this girl."

O'Dell: "Jane working the feet very well, cutting Nicole off, bringing her to battle, letting the hands go when she does. Anderson willing to give ground to play for time. GOOD right hand Levy and Nicole is wobbled again! Anderson in trouble as Jane lets the leather fly and DOWN GOES ANDERSON!"

Tess: "NASTY combination right there, Jenny!"

O'Dell: "Nicole dropped to her back. Levy quickly to a neutral corner. Referee's count at three. Four. Five. Nicole rolling to her belly. Six. Seven. Anderson to hands and knees at eight. Nine. TEN! It's over! The brunette can't move from all fours and it's OVER, and your winner by KO6 is 'The Marin County Marauder', Jane Levy!"

Cassie: "Tess said it. That was a NASTY combination right there. Landed three good punches in succession. Anderson was game, but she wasn't coming back from that."

AFTER:

O'Dell: "Let's go up to the ring and Tess Valmore!"

Tess: "I've got our winner, Jane Levy, and, Jane, she gave you a little trouble with that style change in the second..."

Jane (nodding): "We knew she could fight like that. We saw her do it. I just didn't think she'd try it against me. And, you saw why she shouldn't have."

Tess: "What's next for you?"

Jane (shrugging): "I don't really get involved in that. Maybe, at some point, I will, like some of the more veteran girls do. But, for now, I just get back to work and wait for management to tell me who's next."
