Intro:
The opening bout here at White Heart Lane sees Charlotte Jackson look to add a second win against South African born Elize Du Toit.
In her last bout two months ago, the girl from Portsmouth destroyed her friend and fellow Sky Sports News Presenter Kirsty Gallagher within four rounds.
Now she's keen to build momentum against the taller Elize who was born in Grahamstown but is most famous for her spell on Merseyside as Izzy in Hollyoaks which didn't lead to the stardom she hoped for.
"This fight is about getting back amongst the stars at the top of this division, to do that I have to start with Charlotte" says Eliza at the media event to go with this special.
Charlotte looks at her rival hard and can be seen judging behind her eyes whether to start the fight now or play it cool as the cameras turn to her.
"Elize when were you at the top table of this division hmm, do you think that because you carry two melons under your shirt." Says Charlotte with a smirk as Elize's face turns a deep shade of red.
She can be seen mouthing "you're dead bytch" as Charlotte simply waves for Elize to try something now.
Tempers are kept under control mostly, even as they pose and threats can be heard being passed between the two women.
Fight night comes and Charlotte comes out wearing a red robe, as she heads to the ring; a message of "good luck Chris" is written on the back of the robe with a Welsh flag underneath.
Of course that's a message for her husband the Wales football coach Chris Coleman whose in France hoping to lead the team to the gold.
The crowd are mixed on that message as of course this mostly English crowd hope England win Euro 16.
The cheers pick up as she takes the robe off to show her toned body in a red sports bra, shorts that have both a Wales and England flag on each side with matching red gloves and boots to complete the look.
Elize is out, looking somewhat menacing as her hoods up on her green robe, her hair frames her face and directs you to her eye's that seem so full of hate for Charlotte as the two blondes just seem to give that vibe of hate to each other.
Elize takes her robe off on the ring apron to reveal a hot busty body with a yellow green sports bra with green shorts with a yellow trim and to finish the look, green gloves and boots.
The two women are ushered to the ring centre, the stare down is intense as neither blinds and whispers of crushing the other is heard by the camera's microphone.
The touch of gloves is hard and unfriendly as they return to their corners ready for 10 rounds of welterweight action.
Round 1:
"Ding" the bell rings and while neither woman can be called fast, they both show they want this by squaring up to each other and trading heavy leather early.
Charlotte of course is trying to get inside of the long reach of Elize whose happy to jab away at her smaller opponent.
Jackson struggling early as she tries to get to the inside and is getting clipped to her face and forehead.
Elize doesn't want a fire fight yet as she hasn't fought in three years but this is in her mind her comeback trail
Half way through the round and Charlotte lands a hard shot across Elize's jugs which makes the taller blonde wince as Charlotte claims it was accidentally.
Eliza squares up nose to nose with Charlotte and screams "accidentally? You lying bytch!"
To which Charlotte replies with a two handed shove to Du Toits jugs, sending the bigger lass back a few steps red faced, then waves her to come get some.
Eliza doesn't need an invitation as she charges in but making the mistake of fighting Charlotte's fight and not her own.
The round ends with Charlotte with a bruise around her right eye and Elize with her stomach reddening from Jackson's attention.
Round 2:
Out they come again, Elize tries to come forward with that jab again but Charlotte has other ideas as she nearly rams the taller blonde over with her left shoulder as a piston right straight follows into Eliza's stomach then an uppercut rocks the unbalanced South African woman.
Eliza does her best to hang on to Charlotte, whose surprisingly pushing her rival back with ease and Kate Abdo wonders "is three years way too long a time to be out the ring?"
The ref separates the two and Eliza tries to calmly use her jab to keep the distance between the two safe for her to wear down Jackson whose ducking as many punches as she can.
But Elize is still managing to contact with Charlotte's face enough to redden it up, while Jackson looks on annoyed that she can't work the body of Du Toit.
The bell rings with the crowd urging Charlotte to get at the South African woman, while Elize just ignores the crowd and stares a hole into Charlotte.
Round 3:
Charlotte decides she has to push through now or she'll be jabbed into oblivion if she keeps allowing Elize to create distance between the two of them.
As they come out, the smaller blonde is head down and coming straight forward onto Elize who connects with that jab again.
But this time she gets closed down quicker than she can move so is now taking hooks to the ribcage that have her moaning loudly.
A hard jab/straight combo that bloodies the nose of Charlotte seems to stop the onslaught for a moment.
That is till Charlotte wipes her nose with her glove and continues forward, where she manages to shove Eliza to the ropes and start landing the right hook right across the body of Elize whose wobbling.
The bell rings not long after and the ref checks Charlotte's nose as Elize leans back on the ropes gasping for air.
As Abdo states "her cardio isn't where it should be from lacks of fights lately, she needs to settle this fight soon."
Round 4:
Elize decides she needs to end this fight now before she gets too tired to knock out Charlotte.
But instead she takes a hard hook onto her chin that wobbles her, then a straight to the solar plexus makes her gasp and collapse to her knees, holding her stomach.
She looks up to see Charlotte's eyes staring without any mercy behind them and is questioning if it's worth fighting on.
As she does make an attempt to get up, she finds her energies gone and she collapses back to her knees in tears, as the ref counts to ten as the crowd cheer for Charlotte.
Winner: Charlotte Jackson KO round 4
After:
Eliza is wiping her tears away as she tries to look defiant at being stopped by Charlotte, whose getting her gloves taken off.
As soon as the gloves are off, she grabs Eliza by the hair to drag her up to her feet till they're nose to nose.
"You thought I was your stepping stone bytch? Let's get this straight, you're my stepping stone." Says Charlotte as she plants another hard punch with her taped fist into the stomach of the tall blonde.
Eliza goes down in a heap on her face while cradling her stomach again, while Charlotte walks over her and wipes her feet to show that Eliza is behind her.
Kate waves Charlotte over for a quick interview to which Charlotte smiles and goes over to the ring apron to hug her friend.
Kate asks "was that hard or just routine babe?" To which Charlotte answers "way too easy, that's two wins now on my record, who wants to fight me is what I ask?"
Kate laughs saying "well certainly not me, do you have any preference to who you'd fight then or not?"
"I could take on anyone at the moment, I've always been fit and that's made people afraid to even spar with me but I have a fun idea if she's up for it" says Charlotte as she waves for her gloves to be given to her.
"Hayley McQueen, I love you girl but I think we both need to fight each other, not out of hate but we're both at a cross roads and it's about who gets left in the dust and who moves up the rankings"
Putting her gloves that have the strings tied together around her neck so a glove is on each of her jugs.
She says "if you do accept Hayley, it will be a war, no quarter given, just ask our friend Kirsty, it'll be a real fight to a finish, so up for it?"
Kate looks stunned as she never expected Charlotte to challenge Hayley but as Charlotte leaves the ring to the locker room, Kate comments that "Charlotte has certainly changed and is now so serious about boxing and not even friendships will stand in her way!"
