BBU INTERNATIONAL PPV

(from Stadio Olimpico, Rome, Italy)

BEFORE: The battle of the abandoned opens the International PPV from Stadio Olimpico as both Laura Chiatti and Liz McClarnon have lost their management earlier this year and simply look to stay afloat of the treacherous celebrity boxing waters here tonight. Laura is somewhat unknown to Georgie Thompson in the BBU TV booth as she's only had one fight over in America where she was knocked out by Willa Holland before losing her Latin Union backing a little over a month ago.

On the other hand Liz McClarnon is anything but unknown to the BBU audience however she couldn't survive the Girls Friday expansion project over the winter and was promptly let go by the Newcastle-based stable. She then got absolutely smoked by the semi-retired Mel B. which firmly justified her axe and leaves Georgie questioning how much appearance fee did the Merseyside singer accept to make the trip to the Italian capital city tonight? "Looks like Chiatti wants to enter BBU on a high-note and she picked the right girl to do it! Liz is a washed-up punchbag these days and I don't see her lasting beyond the fifth round here!"

Actress Martina Stella - former girlfriend of MotoGP legend Valentino Rossi - is in Chiatti's corner tonight while TV showgirl Maddalena Corvaglia performs the ring announcing duties and both are thought to be responsible for luring the 33 year old fellow blonde into BBU competition after her Latin Union demise.

Laura Chiatti wears a navy blue bikini top, black knickers and white gloves. Long blonde hair straight, tucked behind the ears. Liz McClarnon wears a yellow basque top, red knickers and red gloves. Long blonde hair in loose waves. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the bantamweight division.

Round 1:

Laura wastes no time whatsoever in stalking the older blonde with a piercing jab and secures an early connection that snaps Liz's head backwards; the English singer tries to respond looping a couple of hooks up the middle but only grazes her opponent's nose and eats a solid right hand on the temple instead which reels her on the heels and allows Chiatti to dominate the close range dust up that follows. The partisan crowd roars as Laura smacks Liz's cheeks with a double jab and adds a quick uppercut on the jaw that wobbles the Merseyside lass into a clinching respite. Laura powers ahead to the guts and tries to shake the fellow blonde off through sheer athleticism but McClarnon's too experienced to lose the grip and only the ref's decision to step in and break the girls allows Chiatti to find another jabbing connection shortly before the clock expires.

Round 2:

More head hunting jabs keep Liz on her toes but she does a good job avoiding the Italian leather rush even though it clearly annoys the local entourage with Martina Stella looking particulary bemused. Chiatti maintains her focus and wades in more punches to the body but she can't stay off the clinching trouble as McClarnon seems to have got a plan worked out - unfortunately that doesn't include much boxing at this stage - and follows it to the extreme. Ugly piece of action as Liz repeatedly wrestles the actress onto the ropes and even the ref can't handle it despite urgent calls from Stella and literally everyone in the Olimpico audience. A cheeky grin marks the end of the round and of course it's on the singer's face while Laura shouts at her in native language and thumps herself across the chest trying to keep the feisty attitude alive.

Round 3:

Chiatti wants a piece of the English gut and dumps McClarnon on her toes with a spirited drive up the alley that also has her head-butting the singer in the brow ridge in the proccess. Liz cries foul but eats a smirky hook across the lips and then a true power punch on the boobs that drops her coverage for good. Laura unloads a perfect uppercut on the jaw moments later and all that solid clinching work blows right into the singer's face as she leans forward with eyes closed and a loud gasp to see Laura drill her boobs one more time AND SEND HER CRASHING DOWN ON HER KNEES... Laura shakes her glove in delight and has Martina Stella screaming her heart out in the corner while the writing's on the wall for McClarnon again... she gets up at seven but looks a little chest heavy as she tries to catch her breath... Laura shouts "Forza" a couple of times and is ready to pick up where she left off... Liz's eyes get a little wider as she anticipates the command but the fellow blonde simply rips into her mouth with a double combo and sets up another brutal shot to the rack that reels the English gal into the ropes. Liz can't punch herself out of trouble anymore and sinks on her knees as a flurry of Italian leather dismantles her guard and leaves Laura rocketing away with the damage bill... she's hell bent to take the singer's head off and McClarnon is battered into stupor deep in the final minute with the crowd pondering the knock out reality even with the very last hit of the round... Liz's face is covered with bruises and she screams out one more time while Laura just lays it into her and finally lands that left hook that makes the other woman bleed... McClarnon's nostrils burst into a bloody mess and she bounces off the ropes with eyes closed just as Chiatti nails her with a right cross on the eye to lift her off the canvas and drop down in a pile of smoking heap... It's all frickin' over and the clock expires just as the numb English singer hit the deck to disappear into KO oblivion.... what a beatdown that was here in the third!!! KO3 Laura Chiatti!!!

AFTER: Ugh! Laura kicks out at the fallen singer and joins best buddy Martina Stella in the corner so they can exchange first opinions about that monster round that saw Liz McClarnon knocked out cold in extreme fashion!!! Indeed, the ref signals for the medical crew to stretch the battered English singer to the locker room and the Stadio Olimpico crowd is handed a double... make that triple blonde show instead as Laura tries to convince Martina to join BBU as active fighter while both of them chat with announcer Maddalena Corvaglia during the post-fight celebrations.

Well, it's this much fun fighting Liz McClarnon these days and Georgie Thompson reckons Laura probably didn't expect such a mind-blowing knockout on her European debut. But if Martina wants to join the show, she'll have to find another punchbag since Liz will be out of action for some time after this horrendous demise. And the best news for the partisan crowd is that Laura only served as the proverbial snack ahead of the main dish featuring Belen Rodriguez, Manuela Arcuri and Maria Grazia Cucinotta. But one can't really complain about a blonde cutie like Chiatti winning a boxing fight in front of her home crowd, right?

Final result: Laura Chiatti def. Liz McClarnon KO3.
