Gal Gadot versus Alessandra Ambrosio

BEFORE: Two models competing here in the Stable War, but also for modeling pride. Alessandra a Brazilian model who has been one of the biggest stars from Victoria's Secret, selected as their first spokesmodel for their infamous “PINK” line and is definitely an Angel. Gal Gadot is also an Israeli model, but has become more well-known for her acting work lately with roles in films like “Fast and Furious” and most recently being cast as “Wonder Woman” in the DC Comics expanding cinematic universe, recently completing filming on her own solo film.

Alessandra not impressed, however as she grins, “Can Wonder Woman fly? I don't know because I don't really follow that stuff, but I'm an Angel and if I'm not soaring over her after the match, I'll definitely be standing over her!” Gal smiling right back, “I know Victoria's secret models are pretty fit, but trust me, I am in the best shape of my life for Wonder Woman and for the record, she can definitely fly. Sounds like I'll be the one teaching her a few things during and after the match, huh?”

Alessandra comes in wearing (what else) a pink bra and panty set from Victoria's Secret with matching gloves and hair in a fighting ponytail; Gal clad in a 'Wonder Woman' motif sports bra and panty set, with matching gloves provided by Gucci, whom she is she currently representing in a perfume line – hair loose around her face.

Both of them with a little bit of intensity prior to the bout, but good natured overall as the two of them are friendly touching gloves as the ref issues instructions. Match set for ten rounds in the lightweight division and the bell rings to signal the start of the match.

R1: Gal coming in looking every inch a superhero as she heads into an aggressive mode early, just walking Ambrosio down as she thuds in right hands in between her breasts, left hands to her ribcage. Alessandra wincing, visibly agonized by these crashing blows, backpedaling in evident pain. It's a powerful punching performance from Gadot early, stepping right into Alessandra and pounding her fists back and forth against her model frame. Alessandra punching back, just clipping her cleavage with swift left hooks and pounding into her toned torso with ripping rights, but it's Gal who sets the tone and controls the tempo throughout to take the round close.

R2: It's all Ambrosio this round as she changes up tactics on Gadot to follow up the first, keeping well outside of her range, moving constantly left and right around the Israeli model. Gal showing good footwork and patience, pivoting well to cut off the ring and keeping her gloves up tight, punching well and popping a few good shots into Alessandra's face and breasts to keep the Victoria's Secret star backwards. Ambrosio keeps pouring on the pressure, however, sweeping right hands to Gal's gut and then sending in wide left overhand shots that connect with Gadot's temple upstairs as she rocks her rival to win the second round wide.

R3: Gal gambles, coming out punching again to try to overwhelm Alessandra again, using her handspeed and rangy delivery. Models standing and slugging early, but Gal taking advantage with superior delivery as she rips a combination of clouting shots down low into Ambrosio's abs to double her over, capping off the series of shots with an overhand right to the jaw that has Ambrosio staggering. Alessandra is dazed and in shock, backed up to the ropes as Gal just goes all out, just clubbing wide rights and lefts to the tits and torso of Ambrosio. Alessandra covers up and swoons against the ropes, although she is able to deliver some offense late as Gal seems to tire out a bit. Ambrosio gets busy, countering with some heavy handed hooks and whipping out some hard right hands to daze Gal a bit. Both girls are banged up in a hard-hitting second, but Gal really taking it to Alessandra this round to take the round wide.

R4: Gal keeps up the slugging at the start as the crowd roars its approval, the sound of leather colliding loudly echoing in the ring. Gal starts off the round with a driving right hand, just thudding into Alessandra's taut abs, but Ambrosio responding with whipping left and rights to force Gal to cover up. Back and forth between the two, but midway through the round, Gal goes big again right towards for Alessandra's tummy, tearing it up with thudding left and right hands – a stunning series of shots that finishes with a big left hook. Alessandra doubles over, breathing hard but straightens up in a determined bid to deliver some hooks of her own to Gal's body. But, Gal manages to beat her to the punch over and over. Ambrosio slumps back against the ropes and Gadot romps to the bell, pouring forward with left and rights, punches thudding against her foe's arms, shoulders, body and breasts. Gal is pumped at the end of the round, which she takes again wide, building momentum as she heads off confident jogging to her corner and a shocked Alessandra staggers to her corner.

R5: Gal right back on the attack, ripping right and left shots in the middle of the ring as Alessandra is still catching her breathe, keeping her gloves up and doing her best to keep her foe from getting her offense in. Gal just thudding her fists forward against Brazilian breasts and body, going to knock her foe back to the ropes. However, Alessandra firming up as they near the ropes, making gaining any further real estate very expensive every step of the way. Alessandra fighting hurt, but standing up straight as she answers every punch by Gal with one of her own, forcing Gadot back to the middle of the ring. The two of them trading rangy hooks and powerful, compact uppercuts in a phone booth as they battle each other aggressively – with the slugging even continuing after the bell as neither of them can hear over the roar of the crowd and their own rage as this round ends in a draw, with judges unable to score it for either one of them.

R6: Girls come out, eager to pick up where they left off, trading right hands back and forth but it's Gal who gets the worst of the exchange as she ends up staggering to the side, shaking her head with a hurt expression on her face as Alessandra switches over to offense – walking her down. Alessandra pushes her foe backwards to her corner as Gal crashes to a seat against it, but digging in as they exchange shots back and forth, as the crowd eats it up. Alessandra squaring up, pressing in and trying to crowd her foe, pressing a forearm against her chest to trap her in the corner and then digging into her waist, just coming in with chopping wide blows to the body on either side. Gal bobbing her head, groaning out, trying to fit in short counter shots in between Alessandra's blows – each woman making solid contact this round as faces are shiny and scuffed! Gal unable to fight her way off of the ropes and Alessandra unable to break her rival down in tight two-way action, but Alessandra takes the round wide with her increased output on offense.

R7: Gal stepping forward into her jab to stop Alessandra's advances, with her gloves just spanking full into Ambrosio's face to give herself some breathing room. By the end of the first minute, Gadot has Ambrosio backing up now, going to lean forward into a brutal right cross as Alessandra is stepping back, but ducks underneath it as the Brazilian brings her right glove up for a powerful right uppercut that catches Gal off guard. Gadot staggers backwards and then Alessandra steps forward with a big straight right that smacks back into her Israeli features to send her wobbly-butt and then a hard left jab that ejects her mouthpiece. Gal's head swivels and shortly after, her body crashes to the canvas. Alessandra hops to a neutral corner, waiting to see whether Gal can get up. Gal gamely tries to make it to her feet, groaning out with the effort, but only makes it partway up before spilling back down facefirst to the canvas. The ref waves it off and awards the match to Alessandra via KO7!

AFTER: Alessandra takes a moment to celebrate in her corner, beaming and smiling as she takes down a very determined and powerful model competitor in Gal Gadot. Seeing Gal struggle to her feet, shaking her head back and forth to clear it as Ambrosia comes over to help her to her feet. Alessandra smiles as she gives her Israeli foe a hug and Gal returns the favor to her Brazilian rival as the two of them share a pleasant exchange between the two:

Alessandra beams, “Great match - I thought you had me for a while there to be honest!”

Gal responds, “Me too!” as her lower lip sticks out in a bit of a pout, “But you managed to find a way to win!”

Alessandra giggles, “That's because I'm better!” as she sticks out her tongue, “And if you're not careful, next time, I'll tie you up with the Lasso of Truth and make you admit that I'm the better model!”

Gal, putting on a look of mock shock, “I thought you didn't know anything about that stuff!”

Alessandra laughs, “Maybe I just wanted you to underestimate me so I could surprise you!”

Gal shakes her head with a grin, “Guess it worked this time, but I'm on to you next time! You won't be so lucky then..” as she gives her a playful shove and Alessandra returns the favor.

It's refreshing sometimes to see a rivalry that isn't so intense, though we'll certainly see what these two are like when they meet up next time. For the time being, Alessandra continues her winning streak against models and no doubt, she'll be targeting higher up the model supremacy chart next time and Gal continues to have a bright future both in the ring and on the screen. However, the immediate result is that this wild war is headed in a surprising direction early on with the win by Alessandra Ambrosio as it's Girl's Friday 2 and Lookout! Atlantic 0! Whether any of the other bouts can top this and who will win the Stable War is still anybody's guess!!
