BEFORE: The Bastille Day undercard features a couple of women still looking for their maiden BBU victory. They both made their debut earlier this year but struggled to make instant impact and need a career-boosting success as quickly as possible to avoid the ill-fated punchbag status. That's especially the case for Jennifer Lamiraqui who turned 36 back in March but her tonight's opponent, former Miss Universe GB Amy Willerton is equally determined to prove her worth now that another beauty pageant, Malika Menard, rules the division. Georgie Thompson thinks that Amy has all the tools to become a British version of former Miss France but two painful losses in her two previous fights indicate otherwise.

Jennifer Lamiraqui wears a navy blue bikini top, white knickers and red gloves. Long dark brown hair tied in a loose ponytail. Amy Willerton wears a red bikini set and white gloves. Long blonde hair in loose waves. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the lightweight division.

Round 1:
Jennifer tries to stamp her authority on the fight as quickly as possible but meets a stubborn English defence and both girls struggle to make a solid impact until one of the brunette's piercing hooks finally catches the blonde on the nose and drops her cover. Amy wants to swing back over the top but gets picked off in close range and begins to circle back under a steady French assault that gives the Parc des Princes audience something to cheer about. Despite her best efforts though, Lamiraqui just can't find that sole big punch to really put the English babe under pressure and Willerton survives the final minute through blatant clinching that wins her no fans at all - even Georgie Thompson is a little disgusted in the booth.

Round 2:
Another French overhand rally enables Jennifer to punish the younger woman's cheeks and she stacks Amy up in the corner within the opening thirty seconds as the former Miss GB truly struggles to embrace any signs of aggressive approach. The partisan crowd roars in support when the brunette bends her foe against the ropes with a chest-thumping left/right cross but a put away uppercut only grazes the nose and triggers a counter blast from the left side as Willerton jumps into a desperate comeback and nails Lamiraqui on the nose herself to wobble the French model towards the center of the ring. The blonde duly escapes the precarious position and cleans out the brunette's midsection in response, reeling the stunned girl back to the opposite corner and silencing the crowd in the proccess. It's Jennifer's turn to see out the leather heat in a desperate clinch as both Suzi Perry and Georgie Thompson sound a little puzzled in the booth too.

Round 3:
Jennifer settles in another aggressive stalking and one can feel that Amy struggles for pure confidence despite that promising displat in the previous round. She might not have the biggest punch around the division but she's making her rival look really comfortable in execution and reverts into quick footwork to escape the leather rush. Thankfully for all the British fans, Lamiraqui fails to connect with a big punch and the sheer effort only impresses the judges as long as Willerton hangs back before a proper response exposes the local girl's mediocre guard. A couple of quick slant hooks find Jennifer's nose and wobble her on the heels but Amy fails to build up on her attacks and settles for another yawning clinch to see out the clock. Suzi Perry thinks about going down ringside and teaching the blonde some basics as she's got a real chance to upset the French crowd here tonight but Georgie reminds her that the BBU TV/Real View contract prevents her from assuming a coaching role DURING the actual fight.

Round 4:
This is a free agency struggle at it's peak in the fourth as Jennifer sits back looking to tease the pageant into any sort of attack but Amy thinks better of it herself and tries to keep her focus amid wild screams from the hostile Paris audience. Single punches mark the funereal action until the final minute when even Sophie Marceau has seen enough and asks Malika Menard why Laury Thilleman wasn't chosen to take part in the Willerton test? Heck, even another rookie Marine Lorphelin would have done more to down the English visitor. Jennifer got roasted by Belen Rodriguez on her debut but she looks out of ideas after soaking up a couple of Amy's counter drills and it only gets worse when the blonde tags her with a seemingly wayward hook on the temple right at the bell.

Round 5:
Amy finally shows more guts and launches a rapid fire attack to completely catch her opponent off guard. So much for that home court advantage as Lamiraqui gets slammed on the cheeks by a ripping left/right cross and takes ages to mount a proper swinging response. She misses the blonde's head by miles and eats immediate follow up as Amy thumps her on the jaw and staggers her back to the ropes with a piercing left hand on the eye. Lamiraqui's knees buckle but she avoids going down at the last moment, yet her guard drops by the wayside and Amy rips another hooking combo to trap her on the ropes for good. A flurry of jabs keep the older woman covered behind a high earmuff and Suzi Perry takes over the play-by-play calling as Willerton rallies to dismantle the French guard in the final minute and leaves Jennifer choking on her own spasms with the ref stepping in at the bell to haul the English babe before she adds extra damage to the brunette's swollen cheeks.

Round 6:
Lamiraqui tries to find her rhythm again but gets lost in a flurry of Willerton's jabs who suddenly leans on the front leg and cleans out the tanned midriff of her rival before sagging her with a piercing uppercut on the jaw. Jennifer scowls in pain and rolls down the curtains with her arms leaving the younger girl to smash her on the nose with a textbook hook... AND THE BRUNETTE'S KNEES GIVE WAY sending the French heroine down on her backside to silence the Paris audience on the spot... Uh oh! Even Georgie Thompson didn't see that coming! Amy screams out in delight but quite frankly looks like she just won a candy on a Sunday fair... nevermind that, Jennifer spasms her pain through the full eight count and she's really suspiciously vulnerable in wake of the knockdown whereas Willerton wants to resume the best moments of her BBU career to date as soon as possible... The ref gives the aching brunette a couple of extra seconds to catch her breath but someone needs to tell her to keep her arms high... Oh wait... AMY BLASTS A LEFT/RIGHT CROSS ON THE NOSE and triggers instant blood spillage that sinks a screaming model on jelly knees before a hook on the jugs dumps her into timber mode on the spot... Jennifer crashes down flat on her back and bangs her head against the canvas pretty hard which bawls her eyes to the orbit... even the slowest count can't save the French undercard pride anymore... KO6 Amy Willerton!!!

AFTER: Nothing but jeers and screams of disbelief in the Parc des Princes audience and the medics are quick to arrive in the ring and attend to Jennifer's busted up nose! Amy does a little jig in the center of the ring and blows a couple of kisses to the front seats but local reporter Ariane Brodier refuses to talk to her and prefers to join the French elite Marceau & Menard up in the stands. Well, it's safe to say nobody around the place predicted such a terrible fall from grace and Amy is given a quick sending off by the announcer with Suzi Perry finally making her way downstairs and dragging the shapely blonde to the booth: "C'mon, you don't need these ass#### to give you the trophy! You came her to win, hun! Tell us how you feel?"

"I feel soooooooo happy right now! I came here, well, to survive, you know and it looked really bad there at the start (both Suzi & Georgie nod in approval) but I knew I'm a solid fighter. I just had to make that breakthrough stick and well, thankfully Jennifer's a lacklustre free agent like me (laughs) so I knocked her out of the comfort zone! I still don't know how I made that happen but perhaps we can analyze my performance later this evening in the hotel? No? Gonna drink some wine? A lot of wine? OK, that suits me just fine! (giggles) Now, let's see if Naomie Harris can double up for the team!"
