BEFORE: This is the Main Event here in Cardiff and despite lack of a Welsh entry, it's still a monster bout between two blonde legends. Victoria Silvstedt has risen from the ashes over the past couple of months when she almost stole the national headlines crashing Helena Mattsson versus Kelly Gale party and announced herself as a true Swedish leader both in and out of the ring. To prove her point she was happy to accept Joanna Krupa's challenge, the Polish model currently based in Los Angeles & Miami who is making a guest appearance in Europe while she prepares for the next JMD(D) Queendom PPV scheduled for September.

Silvstedt hasn't had an official bout since losing to Nadia Bjorlin almost ten years ago but she vows to dazzle the Cardiff Arena with her undisputed power tonight. BBU TV's Kate Abdo is puzzled by the arrogant pre-fight talk from the Swedish bombshell but if one looks so impressive in her 40s like Victoria, anything can be excused to a large extent.

On the other hand Krupa rides a JMD hot streak this season which includes epic wins over Olga Kurylenko and welterweight Nicola McLean. Her only previous BBU experience ended in a KO6 defeat at the hands of Alesha Dixon however that dates back to May 2011 when the Polish blonde was still a random presence in the female celebrity boxing universe.

Because of the poor weather the beach boxing concept was dropped and both women travelled to the BBU HQ in Wales but the word on the street has it they will clash on the loose surface later this season again - unless one of them requires a lenghty medical absence since these are two hard hitters and the biggest question mark lies with Silvstedt's stamina & conditioning.

Round 1:
Silvstedt is three inches taller than her opponent and the superior reach takes the upper hand for most of the opening round. The Swede loops promising crosses to keep Krupa busy in defence and signalls that big punch when she bounces off the forehead to wobble the younger blonde a little too easily before settling down in the head hunting pursuit. Joanna improved her results over the past several months and has enough fight shape in her to outsmart the hard-hitting Swede but Victoria is nowhere near struggling for confidence as she keeps going forward and shutting down the Pole's aggressive ideas from the onset. She fails to deliver that staying power inside the final minute but Kate Abdo is convinced Krupa's a little spooked by the potential one-punch KO from the towering Swede who once called middleweight her home.

Round 2:
Krupa keeps going backwards here and refuses to engage in a classic brawling affair while Silvstedt barks in anger after missing several bombs inside the opening minute. Once can only second guess her short temper but even the teasing concept fails to shake the Pole off her stance and Victoria must apply more pressure while struggling for accuracy in execution. Krupa finds a couple of big shots on the breakaway but dekes around the slow reponse and it's obvious the Swedish goddess gives away too much in the footwork department and will never succeed in her sluggish pursuit. However Krupa's not winning the fight by avoiding close range contact either yet she can't steer her shots from mid distance at all and must accept a set of jeers & whistles from the crowd at the bell.

Round 3:
Silvstedt has that mean look about her and she display a really cheeky smile when punishing Krupa with single hand approach in the third. Krupa shows more aggressive ideas early on but lacks a proper punch and allows the older blonde to dominate the brief close range tilt before reeling backwards again and bombing her foe with an aerial attack from the back foot. Victoria's slow movement prevents her from escaping the heat but the high guard withstands the challenge and enables her to mount a comeback to tame the Polish jabbing efforts. Joanna gets clubbed up the middle and Victoria finally finds some cleavage to boost her attack options, she pounds the younger blonde into the ropes and lashes out at her guts which force Krupa into a deep coverage but that former middleweight power is there on display to leave Joanna gasping for air at the bell and looking a little rattled.

Round 4:
One must say this is a very impressive start from Silvstedt after such a lenghty absence from the ring but Krupa really shows her too much respect according to Kate Abdo. Well, the laid-back tactics is thrown out of the window come the fourth as the late rally to the guts seemed to hurt Joanna's pride more than anything else. She jumps the gun on the Swede from the word go and clatters into her chest like she's back on Queendom duty again and dumps the older blonde on her heels on the spot. Victoria never had the legs in her to escape the improved rushing attempt but she's never suffered a proper jug muggin' assault either and she bends awkwardly into a yelping struggle once Joanna settles in with what she does the best lately. That Swedish flag bikini takes a pasting in the second minute and reels a hapless veteran back to the turnbuckle where Krupa drills the solar plexus for a good measure to render her opponent breathless come the final seconds of the round. Victoria swings one back on the temple but Joanna's very much in the mood now and has to be pulled back by the ref who finds himself staring at the Swede's jugs thereafter. The bell denied the Cardiff audience a classic wardrobe malfunction here!

Round 5:
Victoria looks to restore her advanatge but the aerial attack becomes a little too predictable now and Joanna dunks her with a scything cross after ducking underneath a heavy but slow hook. She nails the former Playmate on the jaw but stacks up a series of jabs to the chest thereafter and reels Silvstedt on her heels again... the Swede scowls in discomfort and tries to barge the fellow blonde away from more JMDD attacks however she cuts thin air in a desperate effort to sink the Polish ship with a one-punch KO script and gets busted on the windpipe with a right cross Joanna aimed at the mouth... Ugh! Silvstedt is HURT!!! She struggles to find her breath and drops her cover with eyes going all misty in a hurry... HARD RIGHT FROM KRUPA finds the brow ridge moments later AND RAGDOLLS THE SWEDISH GODDESS onto her back in bulldozing fashion!!! Even Kate Abdo never saw THAT coming!! Victoria looks dazed upon sitting up at five and her left brow ridge is messed up badly! She manages to beat the count at nine but remains stunned after that sudden collapse and fails to embrace the subsequent leather rush from the Polish model. Krupa rains punches like skittles on her aching rival and she smacks more hard leather straight into the Swede's face who suffers a total breakdown and can't properly defend herself anymore... she gets clubbed back to the ropes and Joanna riffles more ruthless strikes into the damaged eye which renders Victoria into a classic punchbag with more than thirty seconds still left on the clock... Krupa shuts her eyes with that facial barrage and doesn't even explore the chest anymore as she rocks Silvstedt's platinum ponytail back & forth until she SENDS HER SITTING DOWN ON THE CANVAS AGAIN... The Playmate's legs simply gave way and she bellows out into a yelping wreck with her brow ridge also seeping blood now... she collapses onto her right side and mumbles her demise with eyes closed as the ref doesn't even bother with the count. KO5 Joanna Krupa!!!

AFTER: Joanna is all over the ring after knocking the Swedish goddess out and she truly hit the home run with that flurry of leather that dismantled the former middleweight stalwart. It's almost a come-from-behind victory though as the Pole struggled to make an impact during the first three rounds but once she finally got going, there was no place to hide for Silvstedt. Of course the JMDD tactics helped to break the Swedish tower and set up the fifth round beatdown alas that's what one MUST expect when fighting the Warsaw-born blonde!

However Krupa still manages to show some respect to the fallen opponent, she lifts the dazed Victoria off her backside and escorts her back to the corner and even Kate Abdo doesn't try to second guess what's exactly cooking between these two statesque blondes. Whatever the case, Helena Mattsson might feel a little uneasy now since Krupa has voiced her intentions to face her under BBU rules later this summer as well.

Moreover, the beach boxing season is very much on and Victoria's busted up brow ridge shouldn't rule her out from a potential rematch within the next several weeks. Kate Abdo hopes that's indeed the case and if Joanna's set to tame the Swedish deluge with both Silvstedt and Mattsson during her guest trip to BBU, it's worthy of all the headlines this summer.
